i just turned 16!! and my parents wont let me date! my friends who are younger than me already had 2 or more bfs!! i think im the only one who never had a bf and never been kissed..EVER! i never tell them (mom) any of my guy problem or my crushes cuz i know they will give me a lecture...like finish school first then you can date or have a crush..blah blahh

well, at this age theres alot of dating drama between parents and teens. maybe you should have your date over so your parents can meet hima nd get to knwo him before you go somewhere with him. then they will be more comfortable with knowning who you are with and such. invite him over for dinner or something and watch tv. tell your parents that if you keep up in school, then you should have certian privledges - like dating. and now that you can drive, its even harder for them to control where you go. make a deal with them - say like if i get all b's or higher then let me date or soemthing liek that. then you are setting a goal for yourslef and your parents knwo that you have something to work for to get there and that they arent just giving you that oppertunity. also, you might wanna start becoming closer with your mom. i tell my mom everything and you wouldnt believe it, but she gives great advice! so you never knwo where that will end up. good luck!
