My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

i just got a hair straightener and its a conair ceramic technology hair straitener and i was just wondering if those hair straiteners are good and any tips on how to keep my hair straight the whole day

hey are really bad ones i used to have one. i recomend helen of troy gold series.. use have spray then brush it out, that ussually will last you atleast a couple of hours

ok well im a white female and i was thinking about getting my hair relaxed. my hair a a little wavy but not that bad its just some what thick if i dont straighten it. i was wondering 1 if anyone would or wouldnt recoment it and 2 wat to expect like how straight it would be/stay and wat i would have to do to get it straight. the lady at the hair salon told me my hair should be permanently straight

dont get an abortion. go for open adoption if you cant keep the baby. if you do open adoption you can still have contact with your baby and thats wat your baby would want no matter wat, to no who his or her father is

u dont always bleed. i guess you could say it u dont always beed when u get a cut so u may not not bleed at all. it varies in dif girls

My daughter is currently 13 years old. She's fairly mature and doesn't dress slutty. Now, she has liked this guy for about half a year. Today, he asked her out. They want to go see a movie with another couple their age on monday. I don't know if I should let her go. What is your stance on this? Is 13 too young to be dating?

let her go if you trust her. if u dont let her go she will repel like most teens do and she may turn into that little sluty girl that you dont want to be. i know its hard to let go of your baby but its better now than to upset her and she may not trust you anymore. if you need anymore help just email me. my emial is on my column. i know how the teenage girl brain works. im just over a year older than your daughter.

She is 4 and she almost always wants to pretend to be a cartoon character, and wants me to be one too. Sometimes, I just am not in the mood to be a cartoon character and talk in a silly voice. I already told her I won't do it in public, and she understands, but she still bugs me to be characters at home. How do I get her to stop this, or at least not expect me to play along with it every time? It's getting old. Does anyone else have kids that do this?

telling a 4 year old to stop might not help to much. get her interested in other things or have her do it with friends or something. just dont stop her imagnation. teach her to use it in a better way.

hey my name is Devin but i wouldnt recomend it. just tell her if shes making it unique and its a girl still make it really girlish. i dont like to be though of as a guy when people hear my name. i really like the name Ryleigh but thats kida boyish with a more girly spelling. Gracie anne is really cute too. having 2 first names or unusual spellings of somewhat common names is cool too.

i think you should wait. talk to your mom about maybe having another baby or ask you parents into fostering a child. your way to young to have a child trust me im the same age. you could think your ready but it could ruin your life forever. talk to someone that u trust (someone of the same sex) and tell them how u feel

My husband and I are in our mid-40's with no children and have just completed building a second home (our dream home) on a lake near the mountains. It is a one bedroom house that took almost 4 years of our lives to build and every penny we could scrape together.

My husband has friends from out of the area that want to "freeload" on us...and he thinks it is great! The more the merrier and the bigger the party!

His friends are all married and all have many children. They want to come up in groups and stay with us. This past weekend several families camped at a campground a few miles away, but "stayed" at our place the entire weekend...the only thing they did at the campground was sleep (and thank goodness for that).

When they entere the house to use the bathroom, or whatever, they would go through drawers and look behind closet doors.

I do not want these people in our house, much less there when we are not there.

Please give me advise on how to get my husband to understand my position.

These folks are nice I suppose, but they all drink a lot (even in front of children) and influence my husband to do the same, to miss church and to ignore business calls when they are around. We are professionals, they all have 8 to 5 jobs with little to no responsibilities and not a lot of income.

My husband wants to give them a key and the code to the burgular alarm system.

We are headed straight for a divorce, I am afraid without help...and he refuses to see a counselor, although I did spend several months last year in counseling alone.

I'm not to sure what this falls under but I wanted peoples thoughts. I love kids, honest to God they are the best thing that has happened in my life (I don't have any). This lady at my church is having a baby in Oct. and has a 10 month old who is smaller for his size, anyways he will be staying with us more then likely. I have a two story house along with basement stairs and breakable stuff. Our house is not by any means baby-proof. Does anyone have any good ideas that don't cost a ton of money because this is probably only going to happen once and I don't expect on having children for another 15 years...LOL THANKS!

well just put the breakables in cabnits that he cant get into.... make sure you dont have little thinks lying around your house that he can get into.i would recommend getting babygates for around your stairs and a play pen or something so he doesnt get into stuff while you are cooking etc.... i hope i helped!

Okay I live in a small town, I have a small ward(church) i don't go to school and babysitting is in high demand. Well you ask why i'm saying this? because I have been asked to babysit like everytime I see a parent. I grew up in a day care and preschool that my aunt and mother ran so people think I'm totally good at baby sitting. well my mother always thought that I was like auwful at babysitting but now im like "old" and its okay so... how much do i charge? I personaly thing $3 is like WAY too much but i would be baby sitting a 6yr boy, 4yr girl, 3yr girl and a 6/7 month old. They're not rolling in money so is $3 a hour to much after all/?

well ussually i charge $2 and hour per child but i think $3 is ok esspeccially for a really little kid. you might want to make it a little more than you think is a good rate because you might not ever get a raise and you would be sorry you only charged $2

ok about 3 months ago i begged my parents to let me get a hamster...they sed ya...so i got one and ive tooken really good care of it..no problems...well i hav a big enuf cage and i decided i want to get a female hamster n let them mate so i can make them have babies...my mom sed i hav to look into it to make sure its ok n stuff bc she thinks its nasty (she hates rodents) does ne 1 kno ne websites about breeding? also...how do ilet them mate..like will they attack eachother if i buy a female?/..i gues the websites will explain but idk ne websites...ne 1 kno any websites? or has ne 1 did this?

okay, I just wanna know for all you people who are in gymnastics or dance...can you give me tips on how to do a better switch leap? i've can almost do both of my splits and i dont know if you can help me but i just need to know how to do a better switch leap. thanks.

acually they arent that hard and easy way is when you do turns into them of run into them my teacher taught me to do levels. like get lower when your about to leap. hope i helped if you need anything else u can im me on aim at giabella08

i've been told i have an AWESOME stance at the plate when im hitting, but when the ball comes and i go to swing, i rotate my body and slap at the ball, like i dont watch the ball hit the bat i guess bc i turn my self, when i do that, i step out, which is making me a super pull hitter to the left side which sucks bc the teams are gettin used to me and know where my sweet spots are . eerr . but i guess what im tryin to ask is does anyone have like any advice on how to correct it . my cousin tried to help me but hes a guy so hes different then a girl you know lol . idk i just need some advice on how to make my swing more even . i guess im rotating my body, stepping out, and reaching for the ball . ughh . i hate it bc im hittin like little grounders RIGHT to short or 3rd and its horrible bc at the beginig of this season i was hittin triples and doubles all over the out field and now ima pull hitter right to short . ugh . so any advice will be overly apprieciated .

i was thinking of babysitting for people..(most likely people i dont know) with a friend of mine..this way the job is easier. Is this a good idea? Do you think i`ll be successful? How should i get perfect strangers to trust me to babysit their kids...any tips? thank you :)

Its a good idea but you are better off babysitting by yourself because you will make more money
