ahhh so much to say. 1. if you r gonna do that, you have to have two separate cages!!! cuz if the male invades the females territory she will kill him..not pretty. and when you go to breed them, put the female in the males cage. also, if i were you, i would go out and buy a book. i have like 5 hamster books and i currently own 2 hamsters. 2. when you do breed them and the babies are born you CAN NOT DISTURB THE MOM!! SHE WILL EAT HER BABIES IN AN ATTEMPT TO SAVE THEM FROM HARM. so make sure there is plenty of food and water for her. 3. make sure you have enough cages for them all cuz they all MUST be separated from each other when they reach sexual maturity age or w/e its called. like the girls can stay together b/c they can live 2gether w/out fighting but ALL the males must be separated cuz they will fight to the death. and make sure you know how to sex them ((tell the diff between the guy and girl hamsters)) cuz we dont want any accidents lol. you may be able to sell them to a pet store like petsmart i think they let you..or petco. or just give them to ur friends etc. let me know how it goes! drop one in the inbox or im me my sn is on my column. good luck!
Steph

hey, i had two hamsters. Supposedly 2 girls, but a boy and girl instead. Get ready because hamsters can have up to 12 babies at a time, and you have to get them out of the cage fast enough, or they'ree keep reproducing. Dont touch the babies when theyre born and this might sound gross, but if the babies die, the mom will eat them so watch for that and count them everyday. It was fun, besides the fact that we had 25 hamsters at one time!! lol, jus make sure you have enough cages to put them in so they dont reproduce! Have Fun, and tell me what happens!!

breeding hamsters is very very tricky. They probably wont fight but it has to be the right time of the month. When the babies are born, you have to leave them alone THIS IS VITAL. A first time mother may eat her babies. Here is a good detailed website you could use, [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), hope I helped out a bit, <333

Sunshine answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 6:39 am:
My brother used to raise hamsters. You just have to put the male and the female together and they'll do there thing. Once the female is pregnant you have to seperate her from the male. The male hamster will kill the babies, so that's why you have to keep them seperate. Make sure you keep the cage really clean while she's pregnant, because once she has the babies you can't clean the cage or touch the babies for 2 weeks.

Hope this helps...Good luck!

Try looking it up @ www.google.com and www.dogpile.com, i'm sure u'll get some hits on it... usually if you leave them (alone in the same cage) they will do their thing w/o instructions its natural. . .
try looking up "hamster mating" or "taking care of a hamster"

Oh god, don't do this, please take my word for it,they become extremley smellayyy and VERY hard to manage. They may be cute and everything, but one is surley enough. If you really, really want to breed them, go to a local pet store and ask for information from a professional, like petco or somthing. Haha, good luck babe.
