Okay, i started taking birth control pills about a month ago and i just got my first period while being on them.. it says it is supposed to make your cramps not as bad and a lighter period, mine is the complete opposite, i have horrible cramps and a heavier period.. is that bad? And i get like clumps of blood if you know what i mean.. it's weird.. does anyone know? if not i will call my doctor, but i wanted to see if anyone on here could help me out first..

i think the other columnist is right. birth control starts not so great at first & then your body gets used to it & then it gets better. try it & wait a bit. if your next period is worse er juss as bad you might want to go get it checked out juss incase.

i was wondering how i can know for sure if i still have my hymen...
sounds stupid, but though ive never had sex or been fingered too severely, i used to have problems getting my tampon in and one day i remember forcing it particularly and something bleeding a little/hurting

i plugged in my ipod video. after 5 minutes nothing happend, so i went to the toolbar at the bottom [ i use windows xp ] and manually made it so that it would disconnect. it sed it was safe to, but on my ipod it still said it wasnt. i disconnected it and nothing happend. the screen that says do disconnect is still there, and when i did this it was on hold, so no buttons or anything works. its not on hold anymore. what should i do - will give five for ideas that work.

i think you should get an ipod nano.

I just had a tooth pulled about 6 hours ago. The doctor said not to smoke or drink alcohol, but I didn't ask for how long. I was wondering if anyone knew this, as I really don't want to cause an infection.

i'd try like 24 hrs. i'm not saying that's for sure but i think 6 hrs might not be enough. plus you don't want to mess up & get an infection er anything.

ok before i start i am 13/m

see there is this girl i like and we flirt alot but somtimes she stops talking to me and then all of a sudden she is talking non stop. Everytime I get on aim and I have an away message up it doesn't show up. Like my boyfriend IMed me at one in the morning and he was like are you still up? and my away message wasnt in my profile and when i got it this morning under his message it said:: Error received from server [BustedSnacPayload]. Possibly resulting from an invitation containing too much text

my away message was the defalt one. but i signed off and it doesnt do that but you still cant see my away message. WHATS WRONG?

try reinstalling it. like go to start, control panel, add/remove programs & delete it & then go to www.aim.com & reinstall your AIM & see if that works. if it doesn't then it might be your computer & you could get it fixed.

Me and my girlfriend have been seriously dating for almost 3 years. 8 years before I met her, she became friends with an exchange student from Belgium. She had a big crush on him, however nothing romantically happened. Last week he was in town and needed some 1 to go to Orlando Florida with him, my girlfriend and her brother agreed to go with him. At the end, her brother wasent able to go, so she ended going with this guy by herself. I trust my girlfriend 100 percent, however, the thought of her willingly going, while fully aware of my negative feelings towards this so called "friends" trip has been driving me crazy. Ive asked around and the answer I always get is " get rid of her". My question is, do I have the right to feel mad, disrespected and betrayed by my girlfriends actions, what should I do?

trust her. you guys have been dating for awhile & i think you should be able to trust her on this. plus that was like 8 years ago. talk to her about it & explain to her how you feel. it's completely natural to feel jealous, mad, etc. juss talk to her about it & see what she says.

and yeah my family doesnt think i have any friends...BECAUSE my cousin always wants to do something with me like hang out..she doesnt have very many pepole to hang out with...and like so i have to spend all my time with her it seems..i just met this girl and we clicked right away! i mean we are pretty good friends now..i dont really hang out with anyone really..except my cousin and this girl that i was talking about earlier..and so my bro comes home today and is like yeahhhh susie (my aunt) said she is worried about you because you have no friends..i mean i always wanna go out and do things! party it up! but i never get invited to parties..im not outgoing..and i dono i guess i really dont have THAT many friends..well i do..in school..but i dont hang out with many and today my cousin is like yeah my my was gonna ask if i could spend the weekend with you since they're gonna be gone and im like..oh? and then she is like Nevermind!! my dad is gonna be home..you can just spend the weekend here then..and so now like i guess i have to sleepover there friday and saturday and then hang out on sunday too..and i didnt wanna be like yeah i dont wanna hang out with youu! so i was like umm okay? but that takes up my WHOLE weekend and we like never do anything there..i even told her we are gonna go out and do something!!! because she always sits on the computer..and im like we are gonna go to a movie or something..just party it up! and then she is like i kno..but what are we gonna do? and at her school..they're are alot of hotties but she isnt exactly the 'popular' type.. sorry not to be mean..but she isnt? i can tell..and so she doesnt have like hardly any friends..and like NO guy friends :( me either thO! and i wanna hang out with guys..and shes like well on the computer we can ask a whole buncha people including this kid that i think is hott...and he is pretty popular i guess..and im thinking he is gonna try and make up an excuse not to go..or say he has other plans..and i hear this girl that is like very popular and gorgeous that this kid i think is hott..is going to the movies this weekend too..so im scared their gonna ask this kid to go..and alot of other people then nobody will wanna go when we doo..and the kid always flirts with this girl and it BUGS me..i wanna meet hiM!!! thats why i want to like go to a movie or something..but i know if my cousin asks he wont (sorry mean?) but its true! and i dont know anyone else that knows him.. and on friday my cousin plays hockey and she is like OH SHOOT..i have a hockey game at like 530 and they usually have to watch varsity too..so there goes our friday night you know?..UGH this is very very confusing i cant meet new people thru my cousin..she dont kno anyone..but i wanna go out and have fun! neither of us have cars..and her dad works till like 6 every night..and i dono if he would even wanna bring us anywhere..and yeahhhH! please dont say hang out with my friends..because i dont hang out with many people either..woahhh sorry SO LONG really!! its just lately this has been bothering me..

i'm not exactly sure what you're asking for. i see what you mean with the whole cousin thing, because i was in that situation too. meeting people can be REALLY easy because if you go to a new event such as sports, clubs, etc. you can meet new people & hang out with them. don't try to like exclude your cousin er something. try making new friends in sports er clubs & then see if you can hang out with her & your cousin. like bring your friend along. that way you guys can all hang out together & he/she can meet your family & they'll see that you do have friends. meeting guys is actually pretty simple & this probably sounds weird but becoming friends with guys is like 100x easier than becoming friends with girls. why?? girls are too picky!! idk why but they really are. juss go to your schools sporting event & see. start up conversations about games, school, friends, etc. try getting your cousin out've the house. in HS you should be having fun, because you have a lot less responsiblity then a college student er someone that is in their 20's. juss try hanging out different places with new people.

I REALLY want to be a model. Like, I've never wanted anything so much bebfore, in my life. I am 5'2 and a size 5 (short) in jeans. I weigh 115. I'm working on the weight, I'm trying to get down to a size 2. So I'm not asking about that. Is my height a problem? Because I'm a fan of Tyra Banks and watch her talk show. I went to that sight and in her "So you want to be a model" part, she said you have to be 5'9 to model. So is my 5'2 height going to restrict me from modeling? I'm a 13 year old girl and probably still growing.

ehh..yeah like runways i guess. you have to find the right modeling such as maybe not like TOP MODEL RUNWAY STAR but maybe do like magazine ads er something. it kind've depends. you probably wouldn't do body modeling, more face. you could get taller though, since you're only 13 & stuff.

I have a hard time with commitment. I fall hard for a guy and then he asks me out. We go out for about a week then suddenly I get scared and break up with him. Then I realize how much and I miss him then we start and on again off again relationship. I don't know why I do this. It gets to be very annoying. i think you should wait it out. you don't wanna regret it because it's not like you can take that back & if something would happen like you guys would break up then you'd probably really regret you had sex with him but that's juss an example. plus there's so much stuff going around. pregnancy, stds, etc. also, a lot of rumors start & opinions of other people aren't always nice. if you have a religion, that comes into play too because you're suppose to have sex not for the pleasure itself, but because you love the person & to have a kid & i'm assuming you don't want a kid right now. i think you should sit down & talk to your bf about it. think about all of the things that could happen if you have sex. maybe you want to make a list of the pros & cons in having sex & see if you guys want to er not.
