My birthday is coming up very soon. I know this sounds really stupid, but I want to make cute invitations =) I'm using plain computer paper. My question is, besides who, what, when, and where should go on an invitation?

What to bring, what you will be doing, maybe a list of the people invited.

What are some good things to talk about with your boyfriend ?

well i would say play 20 questions...

but that's not always easy if you aren't close enough to talk about other things. MercyxMe has a point. if you can't talk about anything and you sit there on the phone in akward silence you proably aren't meant to be together right now. it's not what you want to hear but TRUST ME, ive BBEN THERE before. it's not fun at all and NOT worth it. it's not romantic and it won't suddenly get better. that's my opinion...do whatever you like.

I'm a christian, but I have only gone to church about like 5 times in my entire life. (I'm 15 by the way). I've never read the bible, and I know almost little to nothing about it at all. LAtely, I've been feeling awful because I never grew up with god in my life. My parents don't like to go to church. I don't want to make this a big thing. Are there safe resources online I can look up for information?

hun, it's really ok. I grew up with it and the more you have to take tests and memorize things, the less you want to be christian. to get info, try going to a christian bookstore or a library and get a book about basic religious stuff like prayers and beliefs. as for sites, try a church site such as the dioscese if you are catholic and they should give you some references. go to a pastor and they'll guide you to some good info.

Heyy everyone!

This is Lauren. I asked a few questions a while back. The most recent(besides this one) was about books. I didnt exactly get as many reponses as I was looking for. I took some of the advice. I took Shattering Glass, Cut, and A Child Called It from the library and read them. Does anyone know any other good books that deal with relashionships, dealing with abuse or rape, or any other REALLY dramatic books? I also LOVE a good mystery!

heyyy i'm glad you got shattering glass! the author of that book also wrote another book but i foget what it's called. some girl that died writes noted to her mom and it's creepy. it has a yellow flower on the cover too.

So BASICALLY Im going on a cruise in December to the Caribbean and Im really excited and all, but I dont have a lot of warm clothes! Ive outgrown my summery clothes and I live in MASSACHUSETTS so EVERY store only has cold weather clothes. And Ive tried! I mostly just need BATHING SUITS! Im thinking I probably need to order them online? That would be the best option. I leave December 23rd. Im a size 14 in bathing suits (in like kids lol) Does anyone know a website(s!) I could order bathing suits on. Ive tried obvious stores - Abercrombie, AE, etc! Please be POSITIVE they have bathing suits & in my size & Ill rate you a 5! thanks!

they have shops in malls and stuff. i know its more for bigger people but i think you could fit into a XS. (a 14/16 in kids is about a 3 in juniors). some department stores have sales on them...i found a rack of them at dillards 2 weeks ago.

I love to craft, and I love those adorable like girls that are not quite "scene" cause they still have their unique-ness. sorry I'm rambling on. Anyway, I want to make clothes and cute things for myself, but I am overweight and when I try to make cute things they just look all wrong on me. What do I do? Does anyone have any craft ideas?

wow i was the same way before. i made this purse from recycled things and tape and i really thought everyone would make fun of me. i was shocked when people complimented me and offered to pay me to make one for them. point: TAKE IT TO SCHOOL!!

haha my guy friend has a gf that's taller than him... at first i gave him a hard time about it but they really care about each other so it doesnt matter to them. i personally would feel a little weird but it wouldnt keep me from being with the person.

Hi, I'm 14 years old and 128 pounds. Everyday, I try to take a run for at least 15 minutes, or sometimes a mile and a half. It's been working really well so far -- it's only been a month and I've already lost around 10 pounds almost. This Thanksgiving weekend, I haven't found the time to run, and it's been probably 4 days since I last ran. Being always a little extra chubby, and having friends that are model gorgeous, I always have had a fear of being TOO fat or not looking great, etc. Now, since it's Thanksgiving weekend, I've eaten A LOT and haven't found the time to run. Will 4 days effect me that much? (Tomorrow I will most likely go run)

no, it won't make THAT much of a difference. i used to run cross country and after i quit i only gained 5-7 pounds in 3 months so 4 days won't hurt you.

I know this sounds really weird, but is it normal to have a little crush on a character in a movie? Not the actor, but the character. Because, I have no idea why, but I kind of have a crush on the Phantom from "Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom..." I don't know why. Maybe it's because he's so dramatic, you really feel for him, has a great voice, and/or the unmasked side of his face is goodlooking. Is this pathetic?

14/f....I sort of like one of my guy friends but he doesn't know it. I have been getting a vibe that he might like me too but I dont know. make eye contact where you talk to him, give him attention, give him lots of hugs, sit close to him... ask him who he likes, bring up love and stuff, tell him you care about him... there are endless amount of ways to flirt or show him you care. oh, and guy friends are great for piggy back rides (wink)

My friend just gave me Jergen's Natural Glow tanning lotion. I want to know if it really works, or if it makes me turn orange before I use it. Has anyone else ever used it before?

ive used it before... it fives you a bit of a glow that's barely noticeable and it looks kinda shimmer when you wear it. no, it won't turn you orange and it cannot give you cancer.

I've always loved dance and my world basically revolves around it. I dance at my studio that I've been at for about 7 years and I'm on my high school drill team. I'm now a senior in high school and my drill coach has made my love of dance a pain in the ass. She is constantly ridiculing us and telling us how bad we are! And, because of her I've not only dread going to drill practice but dancing at my studio as well. :/


My mom thinks that I'm using my coach being a bitch for an excuse on why I want to quit. Do you think that one person can ruin the thing you love for you? Or is it just me not wanting to dance anymore?

Yes, one person can ruin the thing you love. I love to sing but some of the people that teach me are horrible to me...they make me think i can never sing something and such. they almost completely ruined it for me but then i found a teacher that knows i have talent. don't quit the team half way through the year, you WILL regret it. i've quit a lot of things and everytime i do i let a bit of myself go too. just get through it and later after high school, you might find a better place to dance and fall in love with it all over again.
