i need to get my mom a present for mother's day but i have NO IDEA what to get her!!

I say start off with flowers, definetely.


Then, make her something! Get creative, and give her something that's one of a kind and handmade. Decorate a picture frame with a picture of the 2 of you together, make her a book of all the reasons she's the best mom ever, make her a cd with all the songs that remind you of her, something that not everybody else does. =]

i need song feel-good, sing-to-in-the-car, fun songs for a summer playlist. they don't have to be recent songs, nor do they have to be any certain genre (although i don't think many hardcore or metal songs can be classified as "feel good" or "fun", haha). i'll provide some examples that already made the list:

If you have your period is it possible to still be pregnant afterwards. I know i got my period because it came when predicted as usual and was a period lol. I am on the pill but i was just wondering if theres anyway possible. Ive never missed a pill and take it accurately so dont go there. Recently I got a minor tooth ache. Its not uncommon for me because I'm 16 and my wisdom teeth are taking their dear sweet time coming in...but I decided to take out a compact mirror and check out my tooth anyway. Well...it looks like I have a cavity. I have a little black spot on TWO of my upper back teeth. I think the pain was my wisdom teeth...but yeah.

I haven't been to the dentist in YEARS. So long I can't even remember how old I was or what I was there for...I'm really scared of getting a tooth pulled.

I don't know how bad a cavity is that you have to have it pulled so I have no idea what to compare what I have to...and I'm sooo freaked out.

Does anyone know how bad a cavity has to be before it gets pulled? I tried looking it up but I can't seem to find anything useful....

The longer you wait,
the worse it will get.

If it gets bad enough, you'll need a root canal and trust me those are MUCH worse than having a cavity filled.

I'm in photography, and our next assignment is portraits. We have to do self portraits and natural lighting [i.e. sunlight], which can be of anyone. For self portrait, I had the idea of doing a picture like this columnist did:

i planned on saving sex for marriage but my plans were destroyed. he was really cute and one thing led to another. well, he knew exactly what he was doing and we used protection but considering i still didnt feel ready even though i was kinda drunk i made him take it out. he didnt go or anything. this was a month ago. i had my period the week before. i only get direct sun rays in my room between 7 & 8 AM. it's sort of sad because on weekdays, i'm at school at that time, and on weekends, i'm sleeping at that time.

so i was wondering. what could i do to make my room a little more bright? not necessarily in terms of lighting (trust me, i have three lamps in my room already). it also gets sort of awkward when it's 5 pm, still a little bit of sunlight that isn't going into my room, and i have all my lamps on.

any advice?

Try getting a bright colored bed spread/comforter and pillows. Yellow is a great sunny color (obviously!) =]


Also, this may sound odd, but keep your room clean. Trust me, you feel much better when your room is clean rather than messy and disorganized. And the light just adds to the brightness.

okay so on april 10 me and my friend cut the last 2 periods of class. i really dont cut but that day we had a sub so i did. i felt really guilty btw for that so i know i will never cutt ever again. and also in the morning i missed 1 class like 2 times becuase i woke up late and i didnt know that was considered cutting. so they sent me a note frm the school my mom read it and shes really angry. i feel so guilty. she said if its true she will ground me for the whole summer! so she said she was going to go to the school and check. i dont know what to do im so scared shes really against cutting. i know i did wrong i learned my lesson im not cutting again i tried to talk to her to tell her that but she wont listen what should i do i think if she finds out it was true shes going to hit me with the belt since shes so old fashioned.

Have you told her what you just told us?

Explain to her the truth. Not only the part about you waking up late, but how the time you intentionally cut class, you felt extremely guilty and now will never do it again.

Let her know you've learned your lesson.
And if she punishes you, just take it to show her you really have learned your lesson, and want to be mature about it.


If she does hit you,
you need to tell somebody.

I need help. Every time i try to tell my parents or friends that i want to kill myself, no one believes me.

I'm sorry that your loved ones aren't supportive.
Suicide is a very serious issue.
It's very good that you've recognized your need for help. The next step is getting it.

Go to a hospital, and ask who you can talk to about suicide. They have trained professionals who WILL take you seriously.
Or a school counselor, who will also take you seriously.


You can also call a suicide hotline for help if you can't find somebody to talk to face to face.

Just please do not commit suicide. You have a life left to live and people to meet. You have things to do and places to go. You have things to see and lives to change =]

That is a very pretty dress =]


I think that white or light silver shoes would look best. Definetely not black!


And jewelry, nothing too big or flashy, something kind of simple. Silver would look best. Gold would clash with the yellow color of the dress.
