Hi there,
Getting the money will be a matter of personal risk for you no matter where it comes from. I am going to ask you to consider a few things before you risk your personal relationship with anyone you ask to help you.
Think about what he is in jail for. Must be something more than jay-walking tickets he didn't pay, since he is still in after a month.
If he is in there for drugs... Well, have you considered that this might be a good chance for him to try drying out and getting into AA/NA?
If it is drug related, the odds are you will have a future full of trying to bail him out. :-( I am sorry to say it, but the odds of him learning the first time are small where drugs are involved and someone rescues them. This teaches them they can get away with it and not be punished.
If it is something beside drug/alcohol related:
How much time does he face once he is sentenced? If it is as much time as he will have served by the time you are able to bail him out, then there is little point, because they will be putting him right back in.
I know you want to help him. Ask yourself, and more importantly ask his lawyer, if it is in HIS best interested to be bailed out. Sometimes the answer is no.
As for a credit card: Must usually be 18, and have some way to pay it back.
The loan idea: You wouldn't lend money to someone with no job and no way to pay you back, so is it reasonable to expect someone else to do so?
Now that I have asked you to think about what is actually best for him, and you, here are some thoughts:
Family is usually the best place to go when you are in trouble. You may have family beyond your parents that would be willing to help if they feel the boy was put in jail for an unjust reason. If not, they may be unwilling to help.
Have you talked to HIS family? To see if they are interested in bailing him out? If they don't want him bailed out, you should ask why, and pay very careful attention to their answer.
If they are willing, but unable, to bail him out, then perhaps you can work together, both of your families, to get him out.
If you aren't ashamed of the situation, and he is in for something non-drug related, you can gather his friends together and see what they can do to help.
Remember: $600 is only 30 twenty dollar bills. If you can get some from each of his friends and family, you would be surprised how soon you could raise the funds.
Heck, print "Free (his name!)" on a big sign and hold a car wash. This only works if his friends or family will help, and you aren't ashamed of what he is in for... because people will ask while you are washing their cars.
The job idea: You are 17, almost 18, and your parents are having a hard time with money... So it seems like even if your boyfriend wasn't in jail, it might be a good idea to get a job.
Depending on the starting pay where you are, you could have him bailed out in under a month.

Hey all,
Ok so in my desperate search for a job this summer, I put my resume online through careerbuilder.com to see if I could find any jobs, which of course I did not for most of the summer. Up until now. Occasionally I'd get e-mails but everyplace so far has either been really out of the way or not what I'm looking for.
Well this morning I got a voicemail from a company who was interested in my resume. They want me to call back to set up an interview, but there's a few problems:
1.) I don't know what kind of job it is, the person on the phone didn't really specify. He said the name of the company, but I couldn't understand it that well and I tried searching it online but couldn't really come up with anything.
2.) If it's an office job, it's going to be pretty difficult to balance that with school starting so soon.
3.) It's in the city, which I wouldn't really be able to get to on a daily basis.
So with all that said...what is the proper protocol for this situation? Do I even bother calling the place back? Or would it be pointless to call a place for a job that I know virtually nothing about other than it's inconvienent location? And if I should call, what do I say?

Proper protocol for turning down an interview depends on what you want to happen with that company in the future.
If you care not a whit about the job interview, the company or anything to do with the situation, you may, as rude as it is, safely ignore the call.
You and I both know this is a bit rude, though, eh?
If you would like this company to consider you in the future, for other positions, you should return the call and explain that your current transportation situation, in relation to the job location, would prevent you from being able to consider their kind offer of an interview, but you would like to thank them for the time they took in responding to you.
You might also explain that you were interested in summer employment.
You should always use the second option, because you never know what the future holds. Please also consider that it is just plain polite. :-)
On a side note: Personally, I have found that the jobs I liked best came out of absolutely nowhere... so I would go on the interview if it is possible.
If you are no longer available to employers, then please avoid this situation happening again by pulling your resume down from careerbuilder.com and any other place you might have posted it while looking for a job.

Also do you think I have no hope, because I'm 5'5" (the rest of my family is like between 5'9 and 6'0", but then again I'm only 14 so I guess I can still grow a few more inches.), and I'm pretty good and really can see possibilities with my future with volleyball, but the height thing keeps bothering me. I play the front outside hitter, because I can jump really high for my height (dont know how that happened but yay lol) and can block people nearly 6 feet tall (like my sister whos 5'10) and I'm good at it (people tell me this. im really not conceited) for a girl who's only played real volleyball (not gay school version) in club for 3 seasons. People usually are suprised that I'm 14, cause of how i play.. so yeah. But i guess the real test will be if I make Varsity on Monday @ high school tryouts (we didnt have middle school volleyball unfortunately), wish me luck!!! :) (link)

110 miles divided by 10 miles per gallon = 11 gallons
11 gallons times $4.00 per gallon = $44.00 (each way)
So you are looking at about $88.00 give or take depending on which engine is in your GMC Jimmy and what kind of mileage it gets, and what the price of fuel is in both cities.

The .Net Framework Configuration Tool, didn't stay entirely the same between versions.
If you are talking about the client side, the SDK or... We need to know.
If you have already resolved this, please provide the method you used in feedback, and I will make sure it gets added here for others that have the same problem with the .Net Framework Configuration Tool.
If not, please provide as much info as you can about the app you are trying to grant permissions to and what .NET version you are working in.

You always have to pretend things are the other way around, as a starting point to understanding why people are upset.
There are a couple of things to consider:
If you have had sex with the other guy you were alone at the fair with, don't expect your boyfriend to be cool with it.
Typically, people who are still "friends" with people they have had sex with are just keeping them in reserve for a rainy day. Guys aren't stupid, they know this. Guys do the same thing, but to a lesser degree, usually.
So, I am going to run with the idea that you two were intimate at some point for the example that follows:
Picture this: Your boyfriend goes to the festival without you. He is having such a good time with his ex-girlfriend (You know, the one he used to bang every day) that he completely ignores his friends, and doesn't even know they left to do something else. Why did he end up alone with the person he used to have sex with? Because he was paying more attention to the person he used to have sex with, than the friends he was SUPPOSED to be there WITH.

If it was you who couldn't go, and your boyfriend was having such a good time with the girl he used to have sex with that he forgot all about his friends so he could talk to/laugh with her... what would YOU feel like?

Can't help you directly with the requirements for your Arizona driving test, but I can tell you something that works in all states:
Go to the DMV and pick up the test booklet. While you are there, ask to speak to a driving test examiner. You may have to wait because, they may be out giving a driving test when you arrive.
You can ask the examiner the kinds of things you will need to know, and get any questions you have from reading the Arizona driver's handbook you picked up to prepare for your Arizona driver's test.
You can also consult your highschool driver's ed teacher for some more insight into taking and PASSING the Arizona state driving test.
