.Net Framework Configuration Tool - Grant permissions?

Question Posted Tuesday August 5 2008, 1:42 pm

How do you grant an application permission with the microsoft .net framework configuration tool? I'm trying to run and use this application to help me with my computer gaming. When I try and use it I get this pop up saying the application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. So how do I grant it permission?

Hi there,

We are going to need to know more about the version and software involved here.

The .Net Framework Configuration Tool, didn't stay entirely the same between versions.

If you are talking about the client side, the SDK or... We need to know.

If you have already resolved this, please provide the method you used in feedback, and I will make sure it gets added here for others that have the same problem with the .Net Framework Configuration Tool.

If not, please provide as much info as you can about the app you are trying to grant permissions to and what .NET version you are working in.

Thanks.
