Hello there,

Here are some suggested Palm Centro backup utilities:

If you are looking for freeware, your options are pretty limited:

NVBackup for Palm OS:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

... This states that: "...a backup utility for NVFS-based PDAs: Palm T5, LifeDrive, TX, TE2, Treo 650, Treo 700P."

... which seems to me like it would also work for the Centro. I would give it a try and see if it just works.

BackupMan:

"... is the most comprehensive and easiest to use Backup utility for your PalmOS Handheld."

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

This has the benefit of being shareware, as in try before you buy software.

Resco Backup for Palm OS 5+ or Windows Mobile Pocket PC:

... This looks like it COULD do what you want, but it isn't free. It is, however, very inexpensive as backup software goes.

BackupBuddyVFS:

"With BackupBuddyVFS installed on your organizer, you can effortlessly backup your organizer's critical files to an expansion card."

To me, this looks like the ultimate for what you want to do. If it were me with the Palm Centro, this is what I would get and use. I would need Palm OS backups when I was nowhere near a hotsync cradle.

I hope one of these will fit your needs and budget.
