I'm stuck home this weekend all alone and I'm so bored. My parents went on a business trip and they let me stay home but there's nothing to do! I really don't feel like going out either because I'm on my period and I'm tired a lot. Is there anything fun to do without leaving the house? I thought maybe some sort of neat free internet game or something? I can't think of anything. I don't know...

im super super shy and i cant help it.
it ruins everything. my face gets beat red. and i start like idk stumbling over stupid words. and i just get sick of it.

Oh my gosh I can totallyyyyy and completely relate!!! When people are talking to you, just make sure to breathe, and just loosen up your body, litterally. Try not to think about how red you might be getting, because that will make you turn either red, or more red. When you relax, you will be able to hear what they are saying so much better, trust me. Dont try to rush into commenting back or anything, take it slow, think about what you are going to say, and then say it. I know you feel like you will stumble over your words but if you just take everything slower, and dont rush into things then everything will be smoother. Remember to smile, everyone including yourself will feel more comfortable if you smile.

Sunday is my best friend's daughter's birthday party. I'm her daughter's godmother, so she invited me & my boyfriend. I'd love to go, but the only problem is her boyfriend might be there. We used to be good friends with him, but there was a bunch of drama a while back so now me & my boyfriend really don't get along with him.

Do you think we should go to the party, or should we stay home to avoid any possible drama?

Dont let anyone ruin you fun! This party isn't for him, or about him, so don't worry about it at all. Be classy about it, if he looks at you smile, if he goes up to you say hi, casually say bye, and there will be a fun, drama free night for everyone. Just act as if he isnt there, and he will do the same :-). If he causes drama, then be the mature ones, your friend will be mad that she invited him, not you or your boyfriend.

Well Im not sure how old you are, but you should talk to your mom about it. Maybe you could go visit him? The best you can do is comfort him, its going to be tough because you two live so far away, but if you are really into each other you will stick this out.

okay well. i keep making excuses for a guy that wants to come over.

Just ask him if he has a girlfriend. Its okay, and if he does then he would come over your house as a friend, nothing more :-) its fine. If he does have a girlfriend, then he should ask her first if it would be okay for you guys to chill, because she might not be okay with it. Do what you are comfortable with, dont feel like you have to make excuses. Just say, "yeah you can come over that would be fun, but is your girlfriend going to be okay with it?" if he has a girlfriend then he will tell you, if he doesnt he will say, I dont have a girlfriend. then you can say, oh you dont? I was always under the impression that you did have a girlfriend :-)

Well, its probably not the best idea to have a relationship over the internet. For a number of reasons, one being you dont know what he does, like how do you know hes not hooking up with other girls? Or he may have another girlfriend online, or in the country he lives in. Also, everything he posts online about himself could be a hoax. Im not saying it is, but it might be. Also, don't you want to be with someone that you can see in person? Just think this through before you commit yourself. Good luck!

okay im 18 years old and i weight 179. most of the weight is in my stomach & i hate it!!!! its flabby & i have love handles and it makes me feel so insecure. i tried the gym but it doesnt make me smaller jus make muscle where the fat is so its still jus as big. i even asked the pharmacist if any of the weight lost pills work and he basically told me no. idk wat to do please someone help me !!!!

Start running every morning, also, start eating and drinking more nutriciously if you arent. Water is your best friend. :-) Do alot of abb workouts such as crunches, situps, planks, mountain climbers, etc. If you have a trampoline, that can really work out your abbs, even the wii fitness! You can definately loose the weight, you just need to get a workout routine together, and stick with it religiously. Good luck!!!!

I love this boy but you see he acts different when he is around his friends. I told him that he does but he doesn't listin to me and blams the whole thing on me saying i am changing and that im not the same person he feel in love with. i don't know what to do and my friends just seem to not know either. i need help. Do you have any advise for me?

You deserve so much better than that, you need a guy who acts the same all the time, is honest, and most importantly listens to you. Is it worth staying with him? Nobody on advicenators can tell you to stay with him or break up with him, but we can definately tell you what we know is true, you are so much better than that.

I wear make-up sometimes and just a little, my mom will only allow that much and says that i shouldn't wear it while baby-sitting. I have lots of stuff in my closet that my mom says is "inappropriate" for baby-sitting too. What should i wear to be a good example? The parents probaly wouldn't want there kids to see there baby-sitter as an example if that is an example that has their naval showing and tons of make-up on.

If you have any regular tshirts wear those with some jeans (non ripped perferably.) I dont think theres anything wrong with a cami and a shirt, as long as the cami can be pulled up to cover your chest. As far as makeup goes, like your mom said, don't wear too much, but some eyeliner (thin) is okay, as well as mascara.

I want to be popular and hang out with the "cool" group. But I don't know how to start a conversation... it's not that im not friendly, I am! And I always talked to everyone but I want to change my look this year and I want to see how it felt to hang out with the popular people can you help?

The reason we have the "cool" groups in our societies is because everyone that thinks they aren't cool want to be just like them. Its hard to explain, but most of the time everyone looks at the cool group as the prettiest girls, and the most outgoing, thats so not true. You shouldn't have to try that hard to be in their group. Trust me, I know from experience. It's perfectly okay to want to be their friends, but labeling yourself as being in a certaint "level group" is just upsetting to me. You are worth so much more than that. What is being popular anyway? Does it hold true to the dictionary definition, or is there more to it? Being popular is being well known, are you well known? Whatever you do, just be yourself, and dont leave behind who you really are, your morals, or the friends you have right now. Pressure is tough to deal with, and accepting is hard to do. I know what it's like to feel the way you do, and I have grown and learned from it, and now Im trying to pass along what I know to you. If you want to be friends with them, do it because they are nice people, not because they are the most "popular." :-)

I'm seventeen years old and I'm looking for a job. The only problem is, my hair is dyed dark/bright blue. So not many places will hire me, besides like Hot Topic. But I don't really want to work there, so does anyone know of any places that will hire freaks? Haha.

You should either dye your hair a more natural color, or put it up and buy a temporary wig haha. It will help alot. As far as jobs go, maybe a movie theater, or hot topic, or wet seal, or home depot, bed bath and beyond..I have seen people with un natural hair colors working at all of those places. Another solution is to die your hair completely black, and once you get a job, then die it back to blue. If your boss has a problem with it, then they will confront you, but I dont think you can get fired because of your hair color, unless you work at abercrombie or hollister. But Im not entirely sure.

Recently, my little white westie has been coming back inside (after going out in her doggie door to the backyard) covered in these teeny tiny black bugs. You can hardly see their legs and they are NOT ticks! Our dog has had a problem with ticks before but these aren't ticks I can tell. I tried to do some research online and found this person is having the same problem:

The thing is, no one ever really answered their question either :/ these bugs only seem to stick onto my westie but we can't find any one our yellow lab :/ please help I don't know what the heck these things are and they're getting all over the couch and annoying the heck out of my dog! thanks!

Its possible it can be lice or flees. Buy your dog some flea shampoo and wash your westie really well with it. See if it clears up. If it does, then its fleas, if it doesnt, then I would contact your vet about it to try to find a solution. I believe there is a dog spray bug repelent, you can try that. Also, at home depot, there is this great bug repelent for outside that you put on your lawn, it is animal safe so I would give that a try too. Good luck!!!!

Okay, can anyone tell me an AMAZING product they've tried that actually works for UNBELIEVABLY frizzy/curly hair. My hair is AWFUL and i can't do anything with it. Suggest creams (any kind), shampoo/conditioner, products you use before straightening, ANYTHING. Also if you have any good ideas for a really good straightener or any hair styling tips.

Herbal Essences saved my life. Use their shampoo and Conditioner, and then when you get out of the shower, spray your hair with thier shimmer gel. (it says its a gel spray and i thought it would make my hair hard and gelish but it doesnt at all, and I use alot.) You can apply it right when you get out of the shower, there is no need to towel dry your hair. (I of course brush my hair fist though) The website below is a picture of what it looks like:

if your hair is as frizzy as you say it is, then use the shimmer gel right when you get out of the shower, then when your hair is damp (dried off a little but not totally, almost towel dried) then use the cream, and then use it again once it is dry.

all of the herbal essence shampoos and conditioners are different, read what the bottle is for, I believe the purple is for easing frizz, but the orange for keeping your curls is good too, so you can try both and alternate :-)

OH I almost forgot!!!
The chi is an amazing straightener, but its really expensive, so I use the skinny conair ceramic straightener, it goes up to 450 degres and it doesnt damage my hair. And its not that expensive, it also comes with a waranty if you end up needing a replacement. :-) I suggest skinny straighteners because they are easier to work with, and they can style your hair ends better, and give them a nicer finish. Some straightening styling tips while straightening your hair are you can curl the ends of your hair in, or flip it out. I suggest you buy a clip to section off your hair. Good luck!!! (again)

So my fiancé and I live in these apartments. We have lived here for about a year.

The office management advertises a "year round" swming pool, however, it's been open maybe 1 or 2 months total this whole year.

For the past month, the pool has not been touched. It is severely green and puts off a rotten smell. We have to walk by it to check the mail.

I was mad that we haven't ever gotten to swim, but I got over it.

It fiancé and I were talking about it to his parents and they said that a pool in that condition is hazardous to you Health because or airborne toxin and suggested that we call the health department right away.

Are they right? Is this somehong that needs to be acted upon??

Well first off, the rent you are paying for your appartment mostlikely includes a cost for the pool, and considering they are false advertising a pool, I would be pretty ticked off. It is very possible that there could be an airborn toxin, depending on the problem the pool has. Even if it isn't hazardous, the smell and not normal look of the pool should be a good enough reason to get to the bottom of what is going on. You most definately have good reason to complain and act upon the issue.

Hey im 18/f and my boyfriend is 21/m i know christmas is a long time away but i want to start thinking about what to get my boyfriend. A couple days after christmas it will be our one year anniversary. I want to get him something special as a like christmas/anniversary gift but im drawing a blank i have no clue what to get him. A key chain engraved with your name and his, and then under it the date you started going out would be really really cute, I did that when me and my ex were going out, and he loved it. And he used it all the time because it held his car keys and house keys.
Also, adding baked goods to something sentimental is like the icing on top of a cake, for some reason, boys absolutely love it when you bake them deserts, so do their parents haha! I suggest baking him a blueberry cheesecake pie, trust me, it is to die for!!!!! he will never forget it, and neither will his parents! :-)

I am 12 and I NEED A JOB! Where does someone this young get a job? How do you get babysitting customers? I dont want to babysit my friend's kids because it feels awkward getting paid by someone you know. HELP

Im not so sure of a job for 12 year olds, but for babysitting make a flyer on microsoft word and print out a bunch. Leave them in your neighbor's mailboxes and have your mom spread the word to friends and family. also you can put an add in the paper too.
