7 months ago i moved to maine. from florida well i left my ex down there and i really love him and he loves me just not as much as i love him. well im 17 and ill be 18 in october. over the summer i plan on going to florida to visit. well i really don't want to come back i hate it here so much. i have like 5 friends and it just sucks.

i dont have alot of money to live on my own with but i have tons of family and friends or even my ex that i could move in with.

I'm wondering if i should just drop the idea or try n talk to my parents about it.

just so you know my ex and i are not together because i cannot do long distance relationships. But i do love him.

I think moving back, is not only the best idea, but it's so wonderful, too! Although I agree with the person below me, moving in with your ex boyfriend will make it really difficult, because where would you live & who would support you if you two broke up again? I used to live in PA and now I live in TX, and I feel the same exact way you do, and I'm so glad that I'm only 15, because this decision must be SOO hard. I'm sorry that you have to go through with it. But, I think you should definitely move back, your hearts in Florida, and that's where you should be, with someone you love.

hey my name is Jess im 13. well my boyfriend is really sweet and nice but he always thinks i have to be around him. im always canceling my plans just for him. Well im sick of it. You need to talk to him. He`s wayy over obsessed and he needs to stop. I don`t know how you`d be able to handle that, I`ve never ever had a boyfriend that`s ever been like that to me, and if I ever had, I`d break up with him in a second. If you`re in love with him, it may be a hard thing to think about, but are you really happy with him? Are you happy that you can`t even hang out with your friends anymore because you`re with him? Probably not. Consider maybe breaking up with him, or atleast threatening it. I`m sure that once he knows how much it actually bothers you, he`ll stop being an ass. =[ If he gets mad over you saying, that your friends are important to you, he isn`t worth anything, honestly. You can do much better. And I`m sure you don`t want to lose your friends because of this overprotective guy, do you?

Could you date someone who had very different or totally contrary views to your own. For example, if you were a dedicated Democrat and they were a Republican, or if you were quite religious and they were an atheist. Would those sort of things be a dealbreaker for you or would you still want to see them?

Do you think relationships like that are doomed or are disagreements like that healthy?

Well, if I were in that situation, I`d atleast try it out. Although most of the time it doesn't work out. I think that if you have strong beliefs about something, and your partner doesn`t, I think that`ll just cause arguments and maybe will bring you further apart. But if you have a strong firm relationship, I`m sure you`d be able to work something out!

Like, my boyfriend didn`t believe in gay marriage and I asked him what he`d do if his son/daughter told him they were gay, and he said he`d shoot them! I`m like FOR gay, like really really for it. I love gay people & I have shirts & stickers all over the place to make it known that I love them. I broke up with that boyfriend because of our beliefs, I thought it was just ridiculous that he couldn`t give me a reason, besides it`s "abnormal." Although, I am 15, and of course boys my age are going to say that, but still I hate it!

My 2 best friends have been going out since the summer (don't worry, it's a guy/girl....) I'm really happy for them & all, but sometimes it gets annoying, because whenever I do get to spend time with either one of them (since they're constantly with each other), we always end up discussing the person's bf / gf. They are always asking, "So what does he/she say about me??" & I always end up having to spill the juicy, mushy details of all the "oh she/he's so hot" & all that. I feel less like their friend & more like their spy now! It really makes me feel used. So, my question is... is it wrong for me to want them / encourage them to break up (I know that seems kind of selfish, but....) or what am I supposed to do about this? I rate 5's for non-crap answers. ;)

Of course not! It`s completely normal. I know if I were in your situation, I`d be really pissed. My one friends like that, but only because she has this MAD crush on this kid named Terry, and she`ll make me talk to him on AIM, and she made me ask him if he had a girlfriend, and he said YES & she`s like what a liar!! He told me that he didn`t have a girlfriend, and she`d end up flipping out on him, and Terry wouldn`t talk to me anymore. =[ Although I`m a retard for even doing it, but ohh well. You need to tell them, like whenever they`re like "What did s/he say about me?" Just be like, nothing, nothing, nothing. Y`know? Just don`t tell them anything, maybe they`ll think it`s weird that their boy/girlfriend isn`t talking about them, and they might break up? =] Good luck.

If I were going to any sorta sport game, I'd wear jeans & a t-shirt. Only because I live in Texas, and it's not like snowing here or anything. But, it's really up to you. =] I'd wear my hair down because that`s how I usually wear my hair, but some girls like wearing their hair up for some sort of occasion like that. =] & Makeup is a definite necessity. =) hehe.

I am 16/F. At home I don’t use panty or any thing underneath to feel relax . I feel uncomfortable always wearing so many things, my skin not so good with elastic materials. Few days back I was alone at home in my room wearing frock, no panty. Door bell rang , my uncle was there. We were sitting in living room on opposite sofas and have a chat on various topics as he visited almost after two months. After about one hour suddenly my mind sparked and I realized that I was without underwear and uncle must have seen my private parts. So I swiftly change my sitting position. Uncle left the home after half an hour. This incident was worst for me. I am feeling embarrassment as my uncle might think about my acts and character. Hey hun! He probably didn't see, and I wouldn't worry so much about it. I don't like wearing underwear much, because of female problems & it just gets uncomfortable for me. So, I understand how you feel. how did you pull off that hair do? Its not a very good hair do but it looks great on you, you could prob pull of any though.

Aww thank you. =] Yeah it does look pretty crappy I must say, Well it's just an extremely loose bun. Like I put my hair in a bun, and then you just pull hair down from the bottom of the bun and then I take my fingers and pull down the frizzies, like the pieces of hair that are just strangely. If that makes sense, sorry if it doesn't. =] It's just like a bun, but instead of making it SUPER tight, I just put it on really really really loose. Hehe.

Haha, I remember when I told my mother! =] She was so mad at me, but in a way she understood because she started smoking when she was 13, and my dad started when he was 9. =] I came home SMELLING like smoke, and she knew most of my friends were smokers, and talked to me about it. Although at first she was pissed, we made jokes of it day after day I came home smelling like smoke. When she finally asked me, if I smoked or not, I told her yes & she said Thanks for finally telling me but I really want you to stop , and I think the only way that'll happen is if I stop & so does your dad. So, we all stopped - except my dad secretly smokes behind our backs all the time. =] But oh well. I think you should tell her face to face, because it'll make you look more mature. =) Just because writing her a letter seems kinda weird, she might get super mad about it, like all of it hitting her at once. But you could try the letter thing I suppose because you could tell her the reasons, how long you've been smoking, when you started, stuff like that. =] Yeah, go with the letter, because you'll get everything out at once!

Hey everyone. Well for New Years me and my one friend want to get drunk. Well, not drunk with alcohol but like maybe a caffeine high...play it safe. I'm always jealous of other girls because I I know that their so much prettier than me. I'm even jealous of my friends. One of my friends is like so perfect: shes pretty, all the boys are like in love with her.. her life is just perfect all together. and i am SOO jealous! I reallly want to get over it but i dont know how. I'm constantly comparing myself to other people .. and i think that brings down my self-esteem.
i just want to stop being jealous because it just makes me feel worse about myself..

how do i stop being jealous? and is there anyone else out there who feels the same way ?

Honestly everyone feels jealous at some point of their lives of someone else. =] It's just normal, you have to be. My mom was telling me last night, she was always jealous of her older sister because she got good grades, she was great in sports, & she was popular. But in the end she never had a family and jumped around from marriage to marriage. When my mom had a good steady marriage and stayed with the same man (my dad) for 34 years so far. & She said she had this huge conversation with her sister because my mother was saying how she used to be jealous of her, and my mothers sister told her, she's always been jealous of my mothers firm relationship with my dad. I, of course, have felt this way too! When I went to the Yellowcard concert with my friend, my mom gave me the exact same money that my friend had, so I wouldn't overbuy anything to make her jealous, but @ the concert, she hid an extra 20 dollars & bought herself a t shirt. I know this isn't exactly the same, but I was so jealous because the day after the concert she wore her shirt to school & i couldn't show off that I went to the Yellowcard concert.

+ This year I had to start a new highschool & made the best friends EVER. =] But, sometimes I think they're WAY too good for me, because they're rich, pretty, & EXTREMELY nice. But I don't look at it as a bad thing, of course I have good qualities too, I'm nice, sometimes funny, & always opptimistic. You just have to pick out things you like about yourself when comparing yourself to others. You may have something that they're jealous of you, that they don't have. =] Just think of it like that, I'm sure there's something.

ok.. really im sooo sick of my family.. it all started yesterday..christmas eve.. my poppop kept saying how i was wearing a really short skirt and how i should be wearing skirts down to my ankles or ill get raped.. and i was getting pissed so i siad.. ill dress how i wanna dress.. and then both my g-rents and my mom kept saying i wear too much make-up.. and i really dont.. and they started calling me paris hilton and making fun of me and just being really gay.. and i got sooo pissed off and yelled at them and told them i hated them.. and now my mom's making me apologize cause i hurt their feelings but no1 seems to care about my feelings.. and shes like threatening to ground me if i dont.. but i was telling the truth. i do hate them cause all they do to me is make me wish i asnt alive.. how do i stand up fpr my rights with out getting in trouble for it??

I'm sure that's not true. Your family is just trying to look out for you, but in a way that you don't want them to. By saying that you hate your family is not a mature way of handling the situation. You should've gone about it, in a different manner. You need to apologize, and you need to tell your parents how much it bothers you. If you don't, this probably will just continue to happen even if you decide to change the way you present yourself to others.

Definitely not. Especially considering this is your first period. My friend had this problem and her period lasted up until 3 weeks after she started, on & off. It's very common, so don't worry about it. =]

Honestly, I'm giving you my honest answer. I think that matters A LOT. I wish I could tell you different, but people are so horrible that way. I'm personally not like that, because I know someone who has a walking disability, and has never had ANY friends before. People will stay stuff as she walks by, and won't want to get to know her because they think she's "weird" or what have you. Eventually you'll find a boy that doesn't judge on physical ability. But, it depends on what age you are, as well.

Please don't take my answer to seriously, as to it might make you sad or something, but don't think of it as the truth. There's plenty of boys that don't care what girls look like, but then there's the others. =\
