something wrong ?
13/f and well i have just recently gotten my first period, but its been a week and 3 days already and i still have it !! its light right now but is it suppossed to be like this considering its weird the first time or is there something wrong with me ??

Ok. Well since it is your FIRST period, it is most likely just normal.

dont worry sweetie its totally normal! there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. everybody is different with their periods..some have them for a longer period of time and some dont. also since its your first period its gonna take awhile for it to be on a regular schedule!

First periods suck.
Big time.
Mine lasted for 15 days.
It will eventually begin to regulate and be normal. (6 months to 2 yrs) It will get better along the way.. you'll know what exact date it will happen when you're older..

Thats normal.
Since you've just started it, the times you have it can vary. One time you can have it for 5 days, and another 1 week. Your pretty lucky if it's just light. Nope, nothings wrong. But you may want to see a doctor if it countinues over 2 weeks or so.

It will take a couple years for your period to "normalize". It's a light period? Not a problem. Just keep your iron intake up a little.
Only if it keeps going and you have pain/discomfort, or you FEEL like something's wrong is there probably a serious health issue. Just see the gyno when you normally would (as a budding woman), and you'll be fine.

Definitely not. Especially considering this is your first period. My friend had this problem and her period lasted up until 3 weeks after she started, on & off. It's very common, so don't worry about it. =]
