I was just wondering..how do people get on the "Experienced columnists".

For example, if you go to Browse Columnists and go under the little tab thing that says "Experienced Columnists",how do people get on there? I'm just wondering. Thanks.

I used to always masturbate. quite alot. but then about 2 weeks ago i read something that said that masturbating is a sin. well ever since i read that i havent masturbated, i actually gave in yesterday but then i felt reallllly guilty afterwards. is this bad because i mean will it mean i'll never be able to enjoy masturbating? is this normal and will i ever get over it? please help. i rate 5's!

I agree with Saturnmoonie. the commandments (yes, masterbating falls under the 6th) were from a verrryyy long time ago and now a days, people TRY to make them fit with society now. It used to be to support monogomy, now it rules out masturbating...see what I mean? Would you rather masturbate because you have raging hormones and urges or go have sex with someone you don't even care about because you have raging hormones and urges? Think about it...you'll be fine. what's the bigger sin...getting pregnant and aborting or masturbating? I've had several people tell me they feel guilty doing it... they do get over it so don't think you won't. It's normal to feel guilty...i guess.

hi...im 16/f, here's the problem...i just broke up with my bf and i know i have love him over the past 1 year and 4 months but last month it was different...
bcoz when i was with him in that 1 yr and 4 months i was like a robot, whatever he says i do,whatever he like me to do i do it...i know hes very controlling guy, and he really get jealous easily...
but i know he loves me and i love him...i was just blind at that time and last month i woke up from that and i broke with him last month and he always ask me to come back to him and he will do everything...
and i came back to him but its not the same anymore, my love for him is not there... we were on and off...and just now i decided to end everything coz i know in the future i will broke up with him...
and now i feel guilty about myself and i felt really bad...i know im gonna miss him but i know i can do it without him...i just feel very bad about breaking up with him...what should i do to get rid of this

Maybe you should just take a longgggg break and see if you still have any feelings for him. maybe later you will have all your feelings sorted out and it can go back to normal if that's what you want. for now, just move on and forget about him if you can. indulge in stuff you like...chocolate, girls nights... fun stuff.

hey guys. I am 14f, a freshman in high school, and my bf is 15m and a freshman in high school. he is alsmo 16 and i am almost 15. Well, we have been together for about 3 months. I like him alot. For Christmas he got me this necklace and I got him a stuffed animal (a snow tiger because he said it was his favorite..but i accidently thought leoperds were the same thing hehe. but that is another story). So anyways I wanted to know what you guys think I should get him for valentines day. i really dont want to get him another stuffed animal..cause that will be old. do you think he will like jewlery? i dont know if that is appropiate for a guy. i really dont know how to burn cds, so that is out of the questions, and i dont like to take pictures. hehe so does anybody have any ideas? thanks!

you could give him a sweatshirt, a candy card (take poster board and write a sweet note using candy... i.e. hey {sweetheart} with a box of sweethearts), make him a blanket with fleece.

I know it's really early to be asking this, but I was hoping someone could help me with deciding on what I should get my really good friend Dan. He lives in another state(he's in MN and I'm in OH) and we really like each other a lot. We talk every single day and he is very sweet, so I'm wanting to get him something that he'll really like for Valentines day. I've already looked at a bunch of sites by typing in Valentines Day gifts. I've found one really good site that I love. It's www.bandannabear.com I was thinking of getting him a bear from there, but I don't wanna seem like a freak to him. I was going to just get him a teddy bear with some chocolate and maybe make him a card. He really likes seals a lot though. If It's possible at all, I was hoping someone could find me a site that has seal stuffed animals that have to do with Valentines day. That is probably impossible though because seals have nothing to do with Valentines Day. It doesn't matter what kind of seals they are. I don't want him to hate what I get him! Any other animals would be fine though. I'm really sorry I'm asking this question early like this. I'm also very sorry about the length. Thank you so much to anyone who tries to help me out.

If you live By the cincinnati zoo in ohio, I can bet you ANYTHING they have some stuffed seals there. it won't be a valentine's day seal but you can cut a ribbon around its neck or something. Aquariums might have them in their gift shops too. try target, wal mart and kmart too.

I have a friend named Tara. Shes in 12th grade, graduating this year, and going to college for Theater.. I've been quite worried about her lately, because i know that she cant have her whole life rely on Theater. She wasted her past 6 years working to be an actress. And shes not all that bad, but someone from a small town and such like ours, prolly wont get very far. I've tryed talking to her about other options. I dont want her whole life to be thrown out the window because of some, un-realistic dream.. Do you think that I should try harder to convince her that theres more to life than thearter.. and thats just there as something to do on the side? Or should I let her make her own mistakes?

I can see where you are comming from. I would love to be an actress too but I'm afraid. I say you should let her go... think of those people who go out for really great proffessions - doctors, lawyers - and end up dropping out. Or laid off because the company shuts down? My uncle worked his butt off to become an engineer and a great one too and right now he doesn't have a job. So really, anything can happen to anyone no matter what they choose to do with their lives. just let her live and make choices. just be there if something goes wrong.

okay well im wearing the pink pants from victorias secret that say pink on the butt tomorrow to school, they are light pink and have rhine stones all on them and they are really cute and they comes a little below my knees ..well i need help trying to find a pair of shoes to wear with them, i have uggs but they arent long enough, like when i put on the uggs and pants my bare legs are sticking out. i was wondering if that would look stupid? or if its okay? and if it wouldnt work what else should i wear? i have clogs, but they have green trim on them and dont look match. and i have completely white adidas.. but i dont know if it looks good or not. so if you couuld help me really soon that would be great

okay so i went to the doctor and i have a problem with my knee and have to wear this huge ugly brace over my pants, its big ugly and soo bulky looking. i want to know if people will like point and stare? and will people think its ugly? and is it stupid to be like nervous to wear it in front of people?

It will be ok. the athlete's are always popular at my school and most of them have been on crutches and stuff like that and 2 of them had black eyes! No one said anything to them... it's just what they had to do. if you want, have people sign it or put ribbons or something on it. people might look at and be too shy to go and ask what happened but they wont make fun of you for it. if they do say "why don't you take a picture, it'll last longer".

i went to a tanning bed..the second i got off my skin was red. so i figure "well im just hot" nope..this is a BAD burn. what do i do? its going to hurt so bad and have that deep itch. i want to cry!

Aloe works wonders! i've heard the first time you tan, you'll get burnt. (several people...i guess it varies?) and yeah burns hurt a lot but like i said the aloe will work.

My boyfriend and I have been dating exclusively for 2 years. He's 24 and ill be 22 this year we both love eachother dearly and are serious about one another. The only thing that I worry about (and I think we both mutually side step the subject) is our difference in religion. We actually have a lot of the same morals yet he's Christian and I'm apart of a sect of Hinduism which i was born into and do believe in, however I do appreciate and respect Christianity. He is mutually respectful but i also feel that he wants me to convert. I really don't want to label myself something im not comepletely. Is it possible to have an 'interfaith' relationship that works?!

1. for some it does, others its fine (depends on how you do it, etc)
2. depends on if your hymen is in tact or not. some bleed on the spot, some the next day.
3. my best guess would be no, not unless you tell them. it's go to see a gyno for birth control && to get checked up if you are sexually active. (it's best to tell them the truth.)

i think you might wanna try a different top all together. if your gonna be sucking in and trying to be thinner you're not gonna be comfortable or have fun. that's just my opinion.
you could wear a cami or something under it to balance things out if it applies. you could wear a jacket or vest over it. let me know if you need anything else.
