I have little red bumps on my legs, I'm pretty sure they're from shaving. Is it because I shave up my leg instead of down?

And how could you get these to go away?

They're either irritaion bumps from shaving or razor burn. And no, you're supposed to shave up.

Try using new/better razors, shaving cream if you don't, don't push down to hard while shaving, don't go too fast, and don't shave everyday, if you do. Also, putting lotion on your legs after you shave will help with the irritaion if they're dry.

My bedroom is white and boring. I've been thinking about redecorating it. mostly painting the walls. I just have no idea what color to paint it. My favorite colors are pink and black. I'd be scared to paint it black and plus, im not allowed. but im not sure if i wanna paint it pink. Please help.

What colors would you suggest to paint a bedroom.

lOl Do NOT paint your walls black. I think pink would be okay. Try pastel pinks if you don't want your walls to be too...loud. A light/pastel pink looks great on walls. Then if you want, you can have decorations in your room that are black & dark pink.

Is there a different between Forever 21 and Gadzooks?

I was looking for the Gadzooks website and the only thing I found was Forever 21. Are they the same company? Do they sell the same clothes?

They're not the same company but Gadzooks sells Forever 21 clothes as of about a year ago.

me and my boyfriend have a long distance relationship. we've been together for 6 months. i was playing around on myspace and i found his (i didn't know he had one) so i was looking at it. i was looking at this girl who had been commenting him and it seems like theyre going out because shes always like "love ya" so i looked at her profile and it says stuff about him like they are only friends except for her headline which says "

You can't love someone if you can't trust them. Ask him straight up if he's interested in anyone else. Tell him that if you're the only one he's dating then you trust him.


But, if after he tells you that he isn't cheating but you still don't trust him then it's up to you to decide whether you want him or not.


Maybe they're just good friends. Or maybe they are dating. But don't just to conclusions. When you asked him about the away message were you pissed off or what? If you said something along the lines of "Who the &%$# is that to?! Because I know it isn't for me!", then him "flipping out" is reasonable. If you said it in a cute way: Who is that to ;) *wink*, then his flipping out probably means that he's hiding something.

my friend goes to a community college and is currently majorin in accounting bc his mom made him, he hates it, is there still a chance to change it? hes not doin so well he suppose to be a junior but bc he failed hes a sophomore.

If he's still a sophomore then yeah, there's plently of time. You can change your major at anytime. He just might loose some credits.

I'm 5'4 and about 145-160 lbs. Verrry fat in my opinion but i don't really look THAT bad other than that. I was wondering if it's possible to lose about 25 lbs by August 19th or around there? If so, how. Please be specific on good && bad foods && excersizes (how many, how long, etc.) Also, does anybody know any REALLY good acne creams? Thank you soo much

What do split ends have to do with how fast your hair grows? It doesn't make sense. I know that when you get your hair trimmed it helps it grow faster because it gets rid of the split ends. I know that. I just don't understand why. Hair grows from the other end, so split ends shouldn't affect how fast it grows, right? Somebody please explain this to me it's been bothering me for years. Thanks.

When ever you have split ends, your hair tends to break from the bottom. So, when it starts breaking, it doesn't get as long. Your hair still grows, but it doesn't look like it because of the breakage. When you get trims, it keeps your hair healthier, so it doesn't break. Make sense?

How come every time I like a guy and he happens to show affection towards me, i clam up, build a wall up against him, making him think that i don't like him? i just don't understand why i would do this. Any suggestions to stop this?thanks in advance

It most likely because you're scared of what might happen and scared of getting into a relationship with the guy. I'm not saying you're scared of the guys, just relationships. I used be like that all up until my sophomore year. You have to let yourself be vulnerable and let the guys in. Not every guy but the ones you like and have feelings for. Fight the urge to be distant and let them know you like them. It takes time but once you're there and in a great relationship (depending on how old you are?) it'll be worth it.

i REALLY don't get this. there are [a lot of] people out there who cut, and say it's addicting. but doesn't it HURT? why would you want to do something again that hurt you? i heard that "it takes away the hurt from the inside" but i still don't get why people do it. it kina bothers me.. 13/f in case it matters.

It's because the physical pain makes them forget about the emotional. Even though they're going to have to deal with it eventually so it's kinda stupid. That's what most kid that cut say though.

ok can someone please help me, i am at a total lose of knowledge here. so when you get car insurance you pay like every couple of months right? so when youi buy a car do you have like monthly payments for that too? and when you see like one of those cars on the side of the road that say 'for sale' do you only pay the flat fee to the seller, or do you pay monthly somehow?

For insurance, you pay a certain amount every month. You pay a different amount for your car every month. And if you buy a used car like the ones that say "for sale" on them on the side of the road, it depends on who is selling it to you. They might want you to pay all the money up front, or a down payment with month payments. It depends on the people.

In between haircuts I often cut my own split ends off. Like if I happen to see one I'll just grab a pair of scissors and cut it off. Is this bad? All my friends tell me I shouldn't do this, butI thought cutting them off was a good thing.

Cutting them off with scissors is fine. What you don't want to do, and shouldn't, is pull the split end apart or pull one end off.

I just got my nails done and whne i got home i kinda relized the 2 of them are like way longer then the others and it looks weird they are acrylic by the way. So my questi0on is is therre anyway i can fix it myself without it looking stupid or should i just live with it.

Don't do it yourself and don't just live with it. I'd go back to the salon and get them to fix it. It was their mistake.

My friend (20 F) called me in tears this morning. She was at a bar last night, and, in a state of extreme intoxication, went home with a near-stranger. I (18 F) tried to console her as best I could, and recommended that she go to a walk-in clinic to be tested for STDs. What else can I do to help her out? She feels really guilty, I don't know what to do.

That's all you can do really. Go with her to get tested if she needs/wants you to. Tell her to set a drink limit for herself and never go over it. And never go drinking alone; always have a friend with her. Let her know that she can call you if she ever needs a ride or anything. Everyone makes mistakes and we can only learn from them. What happened happened and no one can change it, we can only keep it from happening again.


Just curious, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the legal drinking age 21? Did the bar not check her ID?

Once you are in a solid relationship, do not start to act like you're not interested. That might work to get a guy but not once you have him. If you start to act distant, he might think that something is wrong and that'll cause a problem. Either he will think that it isn't working anymore, you're cheating on him, you want to break up with him, ECT. Plus you don't want to send mixed messages.


Just be a good girlfriend, be there when he needs you to be, give him space when he needs it, and expect the same from him. You can't predict how long a relationship will last. Sometimes what seems like a great relationship has to end because something changed. If it's time for a relationship to end, you can't just drag it on. It won't be fun at all and you're keeping yourself from meeting someone new that'll fit you better.


You're only 15; you have plenty of time to meet some one that will be there the rest of your life.
