KAITLYNlXl answered Monday May 1 2006, 2:14 pm: razor burn, everyone gets it. but i shave up instead of down. but you can also get razor burn from shaving when you have goose bumps, or when you shave dry. make sure you don't do that. and put lotion on your legs after you get out of the shower. hope that helped =D [ KAITLYNlXl's advice column | Ask KAITLYNlXl A Question ]
PlatinumBarbie01 answered Sunday April 30 2006, 3:19 pm: ahh yeah that's razor burn. that usually happens with dry shaving , and it lasts like a day before going away. shaving up is the right way. just use more shaving cream, and then put lotion on after. that should work :) [ PlatinumBarbie01's advice column | Ask PlatinumBarbie01 A Question ]
SoInToYoUx0x answered Sunday April 30 2006, 2:50 am: you are doing it right by shaving up. but what could be the problem is either your not using enough shaving cream(or not using any at all) or your razer is bad. either try changing your razer or putting some lotion on after shaving.

KaTiE_LyNn answered Saturday April 29 2006, 11:20 pm: you are supposed to shave up. do you use shaving cream? if not, you really should. make sure you put the cream on thick enough, so you won't get razor burn. also try to find shaving cream for sensitive skin. betterthanyou_X3 answered Saturday April 29 2006, 10:37 pm: They're either irritaion bumps from shaving or razor burn. And no, you're supposed to shave up.
Try using new/better razors, shaving cream if you don't, don't push down to hard while shaving, don't go too fast, and don't shave everyday, if you do. Also, putting lotion on your legs after you shave will help with the irritaion if they're dry. [ betterthanyou_X3's advice column | Ask betterthanyou_X3 A Question ]
aquababe1 answered Saturday April 29 2006, 10:23 pm: whoaaaaaaaaa
first of all
shaving down is REAAAAAAALLY bad for you (ingrown hairs and irritation), so its good that you shave going up.
you should shave your legs last out of your shower activities. it makes it so your legs are soaked with water and arent dry. you can get those if your razor isnt sharp enough, so if you use disposable razors, its best to use them only 4 or so times before throwing them out. if its one of those "venus" ones where you buy the little razor heads then you can use those around 6 times. make sure you use shaving cream every time, and put lotion on afterwards.
