Why Do I Shut Him Out, When I Really Like him?
How come every time I like a guy and he happens to show affection towards me, i clam up, build a wall up against him, making him think that i don't like him? i just don't understand why i would do this. Any suggestions to stop this?thanks in advance

I really just think you afraid to let people in. Because you think your going to get hurt some how by this guy. Dont worry this happens alot. Because people are afraid to get hurt & have there heart broken so they think if they shut others out theres no way of getting hurt. Just figure out who you can trust & who you cant. And sometimes you may make mistakes but learn from your mistakes & you wont make them again. Hope I helped <3

It most likely because you're scared of what might happen and scared of getting into a relationship with the guy. I'm not saying you're scared of the guys, just relationships. I used be like that all up until my sophomore year. You have to let yourself be vulnerable and let the guys in. Not every guy but the ones you like and have feelings for. Fight the urge to be distant and let them know you like them. It takes time but once you're there and in a great relationship (depending on how old you are?) it'll be worth it.

i think it is because you are scared that he will laugh or something. i think you should let him know you like him. but don't give it completely give it awayyy.

It might be becuase you are nervous or want to play hard to get.
Try to remain at ease when you are around him like you were before he showed affection towards you.
