bedroom.
My bedroom is white and boring. I've been thinking about redecorating it. mostly painting the walls. I just have no idea what color to paint it. My favorite colors are pink and black. I'd be scared to paint it black and plus, im not allowed. but im not sure if i wanna paint it pink. Please help.
What colors would you suggest to paint a bedroom.

same thing with me, well pink and black arent my favorite colors, but im redoing my room since the walls are also white and boring. im doing my light blue with dark blue seaguls on it. and im making my room all beachy and tropical with all differant kind of lights and scenary and such. hope that helped =D

paint the walls purple or bright orange . it would look real
nice. but i think you should do each wall a diffrent color. such as pink,purple,orange,yellow,bright green. and other stuff. think about it hard. you want a bright and happy room. you don't want to mess up your room.

maybe you should try to paint your room two colors. pick one of your walls to be the focal point of the room and paint that wall pink. the other three walls you could paint another color that you like...yellow, purple, blue. since your not allowed to paint your room black, you should paint black accents. maybe paint a cool border around the top of the walls in black, or paint the trim black. or just get a bedspread with black in it. there are many ways to incorporate black into your room.

if you dont want to paint it, just cover your walls in posters or collages. if your alllowed to, you can have your friends come over and sign it with like sharpies. your parents should let you, since they would paint it either way. you could always get like paint and like splatter it on the wall. i did that on my room

Why not make it a black and white room. You could buy a black comforter adorn it with white pillows then accent the room with black throw rugs (you may have to use large shaggy bathroom throw rugs, but their washable) and curtains. Paint shelving and furniture a glossy/enameled black, which will look stunning against your white walls. Hang black and white photos and posters about the room and on the walls. You can easily change colored pictures to black and white photos on your computer. Adopting this line of decorating would give your room an air of sophistication. Your room will look bigger.
If you would prefer to paint the walls than go with a salmon or rose tone color. Accent the room with Ralph Lauren green. This color is so dark that it looks like a greenish, bluish, black color (you just have to see it). It will work well with pink tones. You can view this color at any Home Depot. They carry a complete line of Ralph Lauren colors. These colors are more expensive than others, but the trick is to pick a Ralph Lauren color, take the color sample to the mixing table and have the clerk mix the color in a cheaper brand. You will have the same color for less money.

You could do pink walls with black accessories. Like a black border on the wall. Black picture frames or cutrins or a rug.

colors like orange or green are sometimes good for a fun, bright look without the darkness of black. if you really want to go with a pink though, i'd look for a muted pink. a splash of hot pink on your walls might be too much to get to sleep at night. :)

i painted my room pink when black and pink were my favorite colors. but mine is BRIGHT pink. if you paint it pink, get a really soft pink. trust me it gets brighter on the walls. but i think teal or torquise would be beautiful in a room, and i know it would make me happy. :]

a pink room would be sooo cute...when i moved into my house i painted my room a light blue which is cute, but i think pink would be cute too. my sisters room is yellow and its cute too so if you like that color you might wanna consider that too cuz its nice and bright and happy. a light green would be adorable too...just nice light bright colors are good..but im not sure what would be good for you..depends on your comforter or if your getting a new one so like it matches and whatnot. but yeah dont paint it black thatd be like depressing. but you could incorporate black into it somehow with like black bordering/furniture? not really sure but youll figure it out somehow! well good luck on your room i hope it turns out amazinggg <3

Yea that would be kinda dark and creepy to have the bedroom black, but maybe you could paint it pink, and have a black border or something.... or you could get a new comforter *or something else* with pink and black..that way you would have your favorite colors in your room. But pink would totally be cute! I know someone who's room is pink and she did like a hawaiian theme... and it is WAY cute. But pink would not look weird or anything if that is what you were worried about.
Some other colors that would look really cute are light green.....or dark blue.

lOl Do NOT paint your walls black. I think pink would be okay. Try pastel pinks if you don't want your walls to be too...loud. A light/pastel pink looks great on walls. Then if you want, you can have decorations in your room that are black & dark pink.

WEll this is the perfect question for me
My room is painted pink, black, and white.
What i did was that i painted hot pink halfway up the wall...
then i painted black and white zebra stripes about 5 inches high from the pink base. It gets a little bit of black in white along with a bright bold color so it looks awesome...
It could depend on what ur bedding is like tho...
