Mascara..water

Question Posted Saturday April 29 2006, 10:17 pm

Is there anyway to go in the pool or ocean with out your mascara running? I heard if you put like clear mascara over your normal stuff it would work. I use Big Lash.. i think it's from Maybalene?

Why don't you get your eyelashes tinted? Basically they dye them black, or whatever colour you want them. It looks really nice and stays like that for up to 6 weeks. It'd dead cheap and they do it at all beauty salons. I get mine done all the time, and it really makes your eyes stand out. Waterproof mascaras never work as good as they should.

ya, buy waterproof mascara. or you could get permanent eyelashes extensions. you can buy them for like 30 dollars, and then they last for like a week. or you can buy them for i think 200, and they last for life.

You can use waterproof mascara or eyelash extensions which are already black & stick to your eyelashes!

During the summer, i only use waterproof mascara because it stays on even when i swim in the pool or ocean because it is resistant to water and never runs.

OnlyTheRightAnswers answered Saturday April 29 2006, 11:27 pm:
Most mascaras come in waterproof form and they don't run in the water. Meybelline has waterproof in Sky High Curves and Lash Stylist, which both work really well. The only thing about waterproof mascara is that it's a little harder to wash off, but it's worth it.

ForfeitYourDream answered Saturday April 29 2006, 11:18 pm:
Clear mascara over regular mascara doesn't really work that well, it'll still come off. Clear mascara is more for people who just was to use it by itself to make their eyelashes have a little definition, or some people use it to tame their eyebrows.

I'd suggest buying a waterproof version of your mascara. Maybelline makes one for every type.

Um....well the best i can tell you is to just get waterproof mascara. It might run a little....cuz you're swimming and everything.... but it definitely wont as much as the regular kind.

But if you don't want your mascara running at all, then i suggest not wearing any. I doubt anyone will notice if you are swimming, and you could just hurry and run to a close bathroom right after you're done and put some on.

Not wearing any mascara would probably be better than having black running down your face the whole time, right? If you didn't wear any, then you just wouldn't have to worry about it.
