Usually, I can sing as high as D6, but in these past few days, I could barely sing higher that B5. I don't know what's happening. Is it possible for someone's range change all of a sudden? I'm a little scared. Can anyone explain or give a theory of why this is happening?

It is most probably because your vocal chords are sore and you may have been singing too much. Just rest your voice for a little while. It is very unlikely that your range will change this quickly unless you have damaged your vocal chords somehow, but its probably nothing. Drink pleanty of water and eat healthily as it will soothe your throat. Grapejuice is always good. try having hot lemon juice in the morning as this soothes your throat and helps the kicksart your day.
If it dosnt get anybeter in a couple of weeks, i suggest you go to your doctor and explain your situation as you may have a virus or other type of infection.

Unless you've done something within the past few days that would be drastic enough to change your range permanently (picking up smoking, for example), I wouldn't worry about it.
My advice to you is to drink plently of water and get plenty of rest - they sound like general health tips but both will keep your vocal chords healthy and strong and diminish the chances of your range being effected by small things like the weather or illnesses. People also suggest inhaling steam, aloe vera juice, and things like tea and honey. [ FewAndFarBetween's advice column | Ask FewAndFarBetween A Question ]
