I have use pads ever since I first got my period and I have never even thought about using a tampon. I think I want to try them, but I have heard very bad things about them. I heard they hurt when you put it in, and that they can give you diseases. I am really confused on what to do. Should i just stick to pads?
you can`t get diseases from tampons you can get TSS and thats from wearin a tampon to long.. don`t wear one over 8 hours..
Well there are small tampons..i wouldn`t suggest gettin a huge tampon unless you are a heavy bleeder.. But still stick with the small sized ones til you get use to it.. if you read the box and do what it says correctly then it shouldn`t hurt you at all..
If you decide you don`t like tampons then i`d go back to pads..
also on the side of the box it tells you what not to do so you don`t get TSS..don`t let that scare you cuz when i read it..it freaked me out but believe me tampons are much easier then pads and less messy.. ♥ DEz

Depends how your state handles things like that..
