ear piercing!!

im 13/f
and ive been begging my parents since the 5th grade to get a second ear peircing. i am now in the 7th grade and just turned 13 and i asked my mom again and she said yes i can get one. the problem is my dad .He said NO because hes afraid that after i would want more piercings and come home with them all over the place. I told him that everyone has their second hole but he doesnt care. What should i do to convince him to agree on me getting one ?

you can try to make a deal with him, you can say "ok dad, i`ve decided that if i get my second hole i will not get another until i get your permission, if you say no i will drop it and not ask you again." plus you can through in Oh PLEASE! i will sacrifice internet for a few days or do extra chores. this will show him you are very, very serious and really want this and he can`t say no to that.

How about doing some extra chores in the house to show him that you are responsible and wouldnt do something crazy like that. It should teach him that you are a responsible person and you diserve that second piercing. ♥

have your mom talk to him about it, or do it the same way i do. if your parent(s) say no, just do it anyways. ive pierced my own ear more than 5 times. if you want to do that then just ask me and ill help you with it.

That is so stupid.. I just wouldnt listen to him he seems really strict and everything I would talk to my mom and have my mom talk to him or somthing

Why not promise him that you won't have any other piercings until you're out of the house (i.e. an adult)? That might stop him panicing slightly. Try it! :)

Make a written contract with him. Say in it you will not pierce anything but your ears...until you turn 18 and/or leave home. whichever will fly with him. :)
