sako answered Sunday November 13 2005, 9:55 pm: no it's not hard to take contacts out. but it does take getting used to. actually, the real trick is getting them on. putting something directly on your eye isn't an inherently natural thing to do and it takes a little time getting aclimated to the sensation and some people are more sensitive than others. i go back and forth on the whole glassed vs contacts thing but sometimes it is nice to be able to wear any kind of sunglasses you want and still be able to see. one tip, always clean your hands before putting them in or taking them out and always use a sterile saline solution for storage. XxAmAnDaxX answered Sunday November 13 2005, 3:07 pm: I have been wearing contacts since I was 10 and I love them. They are the best! Putting them in is hard at first, but once you get used to it, it is a breeze. I got used to putting them in, in like a week. Taking them out is nothing. You just have to hold up your eyelid and push it to the side. SIMPLE!! Dont work yourself up over it. They will definitely help in the long run also. I fully suggest them. ThugGirl041790 answered Sunday November 13 2005, 2:57 pm: No they`re harder to put in then to take out in my opinion.. Um your doctor should show you how to put them in and take them out.. you`ll probably find your own way to take em out.. or you`ll continue with what your doctor shows you.. ♥ Dez [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]
sizzlinmandolin answered Sunday November 13 2005, 1:50 pm: First of all contacts are wonderful and they don't hurt your vision. What I do to take them out is hold the top of my eye open with the pointer finger of your left hand and the bottom of my eye open with the middle finger of your right. I use the pointer finger of my right hand to slide the contact to the corner of my eye as I look at my nose. Then I use my thumb and pointer finger to squeeze the contact together and pull it out. If you look directly at your hand it will hurt and you'll get scared. It's not painful at all. Putting the contact in is a little more tricky because when you take it out most of the time it just falls into your hand. To put contacts in, hold your eye open, look toward your nose and put it in the corner of your eye. Then let go and blink a lot. Contacts aren't all that hard to put in and take out, but it does take practice to learn the technique that works best for you. Good luck! sweetandsour answered Sunday November 13 2005, 1:18 pm: They're not hard to take out but they're extremely hard to get in. I got colored lenses and it took me like 45 minutes to get them in. Unless of course you are brave , unlike me, and are not afraid of playing around with your finger in your eye. But, I advice you not to get contacts as they ruin the eye's vision. They cause friction between the lens and the eye and the heat it causes stops the eye from breathing well. In the long run, your vision will become worse. And, it's happened to me. After I wore the contacts, I realized sometimes my eyes would just be blurry and I couldn't see anything but whiteness . And other people I know have had their vision worsened by contacts. If you've already bought them, like me, well your money will have been to a waste. But, at least don't let your eyes go to waste. It's not worth it. Hope I was of help. eeerrriiicccaaa answered Sunday November 13 2005, 12:59 pm: hey, i got mine a few weeks ago. at first there a bitch to get in and take out, but just keep doing it and now it takes me like 10 seconds. you just slide the cotact to the outside of your eye and pick it out haha. oh yeah get up like 10 minutes earlier before school until you get the hang of it because i was always late because of that for like a week <3 [ eeerrriiicccaaa's advice column | Ask eeerrriiicccaaa A Question ]
