Whenever I copy and paste something onto Microsoft Word it puts a light blue (barely noticable) background behind the words. I have microsoft '07. How can I get rid of this? (link)

You will need to talk to the recruiter about it. No questions about that.
When you do... get everything in writing. Get it signed and notarized. Then go to the recruiter's CO and verify it all. Then have him put it in writing.
Even after that if the AirForce's needs change between now and then they can refuse to honor any of it.
How can you tell if a recruiter is lying? Not if his lips are moving... science has now proven that recruiters can even lie via telepathy. ;-)

Please help me!!! I just put songs on my new samsung mythic and I want to know how to edit the artist's name or in other words change it. Some of my songs are updated to unknown artists. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. (link)

Welcome to the crowd. The samsung and LG phones are FAMOUS for this. :-(
Until they update the software in the phone itself this isn't likely to get fixed.
Sorry there isn't an easy fix for this. If it helps at all you are not alone... so maybe they will fix it. (Not holding breath over here.)

I have this problem where I plug in my lexar jumpdrive and it says it needs a driver. It also says it doesn't need a driver in XP so I really don't understand why it is A looking for the driver and B not finding it which means it won't work. It just sits there and says: "Could not find Lexar JumpDrive® FireFly driver"

There is a recall of these for overheating. Some of them die and appear to have driver issues... which could be your issue here.

There is a bit of a process to it which would be hard to describe.

Iv'e got a Dell labtop it was ordered off of Dell's website back in 2008 and since then it's fallen apart parts have fallen off & there's wires exposed the screen is detaching sort of the only thing that is holding the screen in place is the wires..i can't go into exact detail of how it's broken since it's complicated...
Well iv'e noticed that the screen turns pink sometimes a little & other times the whole screen
if i turn the labtop a certain way it's gone
My question is why is the screen turning pink?
The warranty on the labtop is expired & calling
Dell wouldn't help...

Hi there,
Sounds like it is time for a new laptop. :-( Sadly once the actual chassis of the computer is broken it is more cost effective to replace the laptop than it is to repair it.
The screen is turning pink because either the signal cable which runs betwee the bottom part of the laptop and the too section or screen part has been damaged, or the actual LCD panel (screen) has been damaged by being twisted/stepped on/dropped/etc.
You can plug in a desktop monitor and use it there until the rest of the computer fails if you wish, but if you can, it is time to buy a new one.

it was her fault, we had witnesses. the situation is done and over with anyway but i wasnt exactly tboned either. first she smashed the front of the car, hit it so hard it spun the car around then she smashed the back. do you have experience in tboning or being tboned in vehicles or something? either way, HER light was red, mine was green. Yes I do have experience with being damaged by another person's negligence.

Lucky you... you know the people responsible for the skit? Then just give them a yell and ask them. If you don't know them, then write them on their youtube account and ask them if they will help you out with the info.
Anyplace there is a sound production taking place, there is at least one A/V nerd. They will also likely know.

I have applied for unemployment benefits on the file claim where my status on the previous weeks claim is shown it has the letters (IS) what does this mean? if it's bad am i able to reapply and restart a claim? How would i go about this situation? (link)

Hi there,
When you apply for unemployment you are typically assigned a case worker. It is their job to answer questions just like this one. Even if there were someone here able to answer your question, odds are you would have another question about your unemployment status that only your caseworker could handle for you.
I attempted to look this up for you, as I am sure others did, but I found that it varies from state to state. With this in mind, it really isn't possible to answer with certainty given the info we have to work with.
I hope you contact your case worker... and that you got a nice one. :-)

Hi there,
You didn't say which game, which makes it hard to give specific help, but in general any time you see that error the very first thing to do is upgrade the drivers for your video card.
Beyond this, you will need to ask a new question with the name of the game and the type of computer you are running it on.

It is not ever ok to throw a battery like that away. There are several retailers in the USA that will take your old batteries and recycle them here is a partial list:

... the only thing I noticed which could be construed as a memorial would be a quick shot of a candle light vigil. Is that what you were asking about? If so, it is really hard to say where that came from. It had nothing to do with Micheal Jackson's death because the state farm commercial aired before he died.
About the only way to find out is to ask state farm. They may have just paid some extras to do the scene, but only they will know that. The only place I was able to find after an exhaustive search was here:

... everything for dozens of pages is free, just scroll past the first few paid apps/themes and there you go. I can't vouch for the site, but it does (after several steps and lots of ads) let you download the files. Here is my problem: You have a BlackBerry 5820... and the link I gave you is supposed to be software that will work with your BB, but the real issue comes up when you look at the themes. The 5820's screen doesn't look like it was meant to display the images I am seeing in the screenshots of the various apps you are being directed towards.
It seems to me that only the newest generation of RIM phones will run most of those. Perhaps I am mistaken, but I can tell you that there is a good reason that your particular crackberry model isn't supported by most any site out there. This makes me think that the few sites who ARE offering things for it are scams.
If your BB has a monochrome screen (not full color) then you are probably out of luck.
Let me know what you found out in feedback if you don't mind.

I did my year 12 in a school called Hubbard's School and I took 3 subjects only, apparently only Uni of Queensland (UQ) will accept students who have done 3 subjects too. So I applied for BSC and the cut off rank is 77, I got 75 as my rank..
So I won't make it into semester 1, but is there something I can do in the few months before semester 2 starts? To boost my rank? So I can apply for semester 2 and hopefully get in this time.
It's a little embarrassing as I have told some friends about me going to uni and nothing will stop me and that. Cried the whole day today because I felt like such a failure! :(

There will be a shortage of people here to answer a question like that since even if you were an alum of the university in question the admissions policies change from year to year.
Now, the best thing to do is to get in touch with your guidance council from your previous school and ask them for suggestions. They are likely to have seen this more than once and may have some very helpful suggestions. That is part 1 of your mission... part 2 would be to talk to an admissions councilperson at your desired university. There are a wide array of exceptions that can be granted for various reasons, but you will never find out about them if you don't ask. They will also have a bag full of suggestions to help you if you have a semester free to fill in your qualifications. Always best to find out what THEY would like to see you doing with that time. :-)
No more crying about this, ok? You will be fine, and surely you will remember this lesson for the rest of your life, right? I mean better to learn it now than to forget to do all your paperwork in advance and know exactly where you stand before entering a masters program or the like... right?
