Lexar JumpDrive® FireFly driver?

Question Posted Friday January 29 2010, 9:19 pm

I have this problem where I plug in my lexar jumpdrive and it says it needs a driver. It also says it doesn't need a driver in XP so I really don't understand why it is A looking for the driver and B not finding it which means it won't work. It just sits there and says: "Could not find Lexar JumpDrive® FireFly driver"

HELP!

There is a recall of these for overheating. Some of them die and appear to have driver issues... which could be your issue here.

Please check out this page on the lexar website:

... for full details on the recall.

You can also chat with their lexar's live customer support on this page:

... just to see if there is anything else that might be amiss.
