Is there any kind of pill that is just for normal sized people that would like to eat more without worring about calories. I don't want to darasticallt lose weight, just don't want to restrain what I eat because of calories. Also, is there anything I can get without getting a perscription? I am 14, but I think my metabilism has already been slowing down, I can feel it.
Pills aren't good for you. Trust me. They don't work in most cases, but if they do, there will always be side effects. Just exercise and eat healthy. Don't take pills, you're only 14. You have a lot of time ahead of you.

I'm 15 years old, 5'3" and weight 119 pounds. I know I'm not fat, but like you said everyone wants to shed a few extra pounds. My theighs are larger and my tummy too. It makes me feel gross around people, and I know if I could figure out what do to help, I could feel better about myself.
I love food. I mean LOVE. If it looks good I'll eat it, I hate it. It makes me feel like a pig. I have gotten into the habit of eating less, and I know it's not good to eat less, but to eat healthier.
I don't feel comfortable going outside and say running (not that I dont love to run, I dont like people looking at me funky). So if you could give me an idea of what I could do inside, and how long I should do it. I have a motavation, I just don't know what to do. Thanks alott & you are super pretty. ♥

Okay, well, about a year ago, I was exactly like you. I would eat anything that I would see. I love Italian food, so I would always pig out on it. But, the problem was, was that Italian food had a lot of grease and fat in it. I noticed that I gained a little weight. I got into volleyball at my school, and started running, and exercising. It really helped.
You can start by simply changing the types of foods that you eat. Go for diet soda [that doesn't mean that you should drink soda all of the time], and go for 'fat free' foods. If the item has more than 180 calories and more than 2 grams of saturated fat, then it's not good for you. I'll give you the example that I gave the other person. I LOVE cream cheese. But, I usually get the 'light' kind. I checked the label AFTER I bought it [big mistake], and it had 2.5 grams of saturated fat. However, I went to the store, and I found that the 'fat free' cream cheese only had 1 gram of saturated fat. It's the simple things that can keep you healthy.
As for exercising, you can do simple workouts at home.

Check that site out. They have various exercises for you to try. None of them require weights, or any special equipment. Choose about 3 of the exercises that you want from the page, and do each one for about 20 minutes a day. Don't expect to see results in 2 days. It might take a few weeks. But, you have to stick to the routine. And for your thighs, try this site:

Alright, well, I just used the regular default layout that Advicenators provides. Go to your Column Settings. Select 'use' next to 'Your Space'. Now, to get the different colors, I just went to Google and typed in 'hex codes'. The colors that people use for their columns consists of 6 numbers. So, on the hex chart, find the different colors that you want. Copy and paste them inside of 'Your Column Colors'.
Test out the various colors and find out what colors you like together. Or, you can choose 'Automatic Scheme Colors'. Click the color button that you like the most, and the hex codes are filled out for you.

i'm not fat and i'm not thin but i want to be thin; i want to eat healthier i just can't and no one thinks i need to lose weight but like i weigh 145 and i'm 5'8" and 15. to me thats over weight; i hate wearin bathing suits; and i'm slowly havein eatin problems; sometimes i dont eat at all and starve; can someone please help?!!!
Okay. Well, there's no miracle thats going to happen to help you lose weight. You're the only one that can make it happen. You're right, you're not overweight, but everyone wants to shed some pounds. You have to eat healthy, and exercise.
I have a diet plan that you can try, I got it from my People magazine.
Diet 1 ;;
Breakfast --
1 cup cereal with 1/2 cup soy mlk
1 banana
1 cup lite yogurt
Lunch -
Salad with grilled chicken and fat free dressing
Dinner -
1 medium baked chicken breast
1/2 cup white rice
Steamed or Baked vegetables

Remember to check nutrition labels. If the food item has more than 180 calories, and 2 grams of saturated fat, then its bad for you. I'll give you an example, I love cream cheese. However, I just got into the whole 'nutrition label checking' thing. I always get Philidelphia Light, and it had 2.5 grams of saturated fat. Then, my mom got me Philidelphia FAT free cream cheese. It only had 1 gram of saturated fat. See my point? The light didn't do much good, but the fat free was healthier than the light.
For exercising, do Pilates. It improves your flexibility and strength. Try google to get an introduction to it.

I don't even know why they would hate a non existing thing. Emo is a type of music, emotive hardcore. But, if you're going to follow the crowd, people think that, as you call them, emo's are teens who want attention. Then again, its a stereotype. Along with Prep, Nerd, ect.

Well I'm going to Las Vegas for about 6 days. I'm leaving tomorrow and coming back on friday. I have no clue how much to pack. How many shirts, pants, shorts, socks? It's just something I'm not good at. So if you have any ideas on how much and anything else that I should probably bring that I'll probably forget lol. Thank you everyone!
Don't bring only short sleeved shirts and shorts. The weather can vary while you're on vacation. Bring a variety of everything.
7 Shirts
3 Pants/Jeans
4 Shorts
4 Hoodies/Sweaters
4 Socks [you might want to wear flip flops when its hot instead of sneakers]
4 Bras
Extra Accessories [necklaces, earrings, purses, belts, ect.]
Shoes. Sneakers, and flip flops.
2/3 PJ's.
Don't just assume that you'll be needing six of everything. You might get your shirt dirty, or want to wear something different, so always bring extras.
ALSO !! Don't forget your hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorent, shampoo, conditioner [I don't like hotel's shampoo & conditioner because they're in pint size bottles and its hard to get the shampoo out of the bottles, so bring your own. If you shave, bring 2 razors and shaving cream. Don't fret if you forget these items, you can always buy them there. If you're staying at a hotel, the front desk should give you complimentary items like the ones listed above if you forget them.

Bootcut - At the bottom of your jeans, the hem is just, straight. It goes directly down.
Flare - At the bottom of your jeans, again, the hem 'flares' out a bit. I prefer flare jeans because they go well with all of my shoes. Bootcut goes straight down and doesn't look good with my shoes.
Those are 2 common types of jeans.
Petite means that you are short/slender.

how could i get rid of split ends? like are there any kinds of shampoo and conditioners that could get rid of split ends because im trying to grow it out but it wont work cause i straighten and blowdry my hair too much so its lke fried

Go there and look at all of the 'tips and tricks'. Get your split ends cut off at a salon. Don't use your regular 'at home' scissors, that is also a cause of split ends. After you straighten your hair, apply serum to it to prevent it from getting 'fried'. Don't blow dry your hair, let it sit. Also, when you get out of the shower, don't immediately brush your hair, wait 5 minutes, and THEN brush it out.

ok i did something really stupid but everyone makes mistakes. lol alright well today i went to a bbq and i knew i was gonna go swimming so i didnt want to take a shower and then like have to take one tonight again. anyway well i really needed to shave my legs so i just did it like not in the shower or anything and i used a brand new razor and now. it's like all razor burn. like my whole thigh and its red and bumps and looks like a rash. and it's soo weird lookingg!! like it is gonna go away? should i put something on it like lotion or something? will it go away overnight do you think bcuz people are coming over tomorrow and its hot so i wanna wear shorts but i'd be embarrased with this red rash thing on my leg!! what do i do?!!? thankss so muchh!
Don't even worry about it! It usually goes away in 1-2 days. In the mean time, you should put lotion on your legs to keep them nice and smooth. I get those red bumps sometimes. They're not even that noticeable. Don't pay attention to them and repeat 'Ooohhh, god, everyone is going to notice the bumps !!' You'll be paying attention to your thighs instead of paying attention on having fun.

I'm 17 and my boyfriend will be turning 19 soon. We have been together for several months, but this is the first birthday that has come during our relationship. I have no idea what to get him! I know whatever I get him should come from the heart & be sentimental but I was thinking things along the line of a few tshirts he likes, gift cards, a new wallet, cologne, things like that. Any ideas/suggestions would be great appreciated!

You can make a '50 reasons why I love you' card. You can make up your own 'reasons', or you can find them on Google. Add little hearts and decorate it, and at the bottom, add a picture of you two.

OK, well, I am in soccer, but the problem is like 5 minutes after we start I get tired because I start so fast. Well since it's off-season where I play, is there a way to get me in shape before I start playing again, so I dont run out of breath right away? Thank you so much if you could answer this!
Running is really helpful. Start out with walking, and gradually pick up speed. Do it in a populated area with houses around and stuff, if you're running alone. Download some upbeat and catchy songs on your Ipod/MP3 so you can get in the 'mood'. If you need some songs, you can check my advice column, and there should be some questions asking for 'running' songs. Remember to stretch before you run, or you can pull a muscle. Also, when you don't feel like running, try crunches, situps, and pushups. Jumpings jacks and running in place will also help.

Hey!
So my boyfriend and I have been just about everywhere there is to go as far as dates are concerned. We've done the dinner and a movie thing a million times, we go to Barnes&Noble/Starbucks for books and coffee, etc., but it's all getting dull.
There aren't any museums in town except for an art museum, but we've already been there!
If you have any date ideas involving food, books, or the like, I'd greatly appreciate your helpful advice!

You can..
- Go swimming at a local pool.
- Go to a local concert.
- Your library can have like an 'open mic' time, and you can meet new people and discuss books that you've read, like your favorite/least favorite moment, favorite/least favorite character, ect.
- Go play mini-golf.
- Go bowling.
- Ride bikes together around your local park
- Take pictures of the outdoors since it's summertime and include each other in the pics, too.
- Go Ice Skating.
- Go to the beach.
- Volunteer together at a nursery/retirement home.
Those are some ideas.

I dont go anywhere i just want to go to a protected tanning bed, and get a little more dark then what I am. i dont want to be at to much of a risk of skin cancer.

Okay. If you go to a salon, ask them that you want a UV Protectant tanning bed, and you only want a little tan. Some tanning beds have rays that go to the extreme and tan you like crazy, so that your skin looks like charcoal in the end. They should have different 'packages' that fit your options and needs. That's the best that I could answer. I don't tan at tanning places, so, sorry if I wasn't that much of a help. I didn't want to reject your question. :]]

I've been running the last couple days because I want to start exercising a lot more. But when I woke up this morning, my calves were really really sore. I didn't pull anything or anything like that, they're just sore from all the running. Should I still run today or should I take a break because of the sore calves? If I should take a break on running, is there anything else I could do exercise-wise? Thanks in advance =]
Your legs are probably worn out after all of the runing. You probably just started running after awhile, so your legs aren't used to the intensity. Try doing some simple stretching, jumping jacks, ect. before you run. Stretching is very important, if you forget to stretch, you can pull a muscle. Take a break and just work out a little at home. Simple crunches, sit ups, pushups, stuff like that. Have you tried the bicycle manuever? You lay down on the floor, in a situp/crunch position, then you come up to your knees, cross over right elbow to left knee, left elbow to right knee, while your legs are in the air, 'pedaling' as you would when you are riding a bicycle.

Do you know if they have those new tanning beds? Protected from UV rays. I heard something about it but im not sure. UV protectant tanning beds.
Do you go to a special place like Celsius Tanning to tan? Or do you have your own actual tanning bed. If you go to a special professional clinic type place, then you can call them, or drive over there and ask them about the UV Protectant Tanning Beds. I've tried looking on Google. A little more information would probably help, since I don't know where you go to tan, and I don't know if you tan at home in your own personal tanning bed.

Can you shave your legs using soap and will it give you razor burn?
I have tried shaving with soap, and it didn't turn out so well. I got red bumps all over my legs. I guess it depends on how sensitive your legs are. But, if your skin is sensitive, save your legs from red bumps, constant dryness and itching, and use actual shaving cream. Also, shaving with a dull razor can cause razor burn. Make sure that you use a new razor and not a borrowed one from your mom or sister. Make sure that its clean, otherwise bacteria can piling up in the blades.
