Hey. Its Ashleigh. Hm, I finally decided to change this thing. I have an amazing fiance, and I love him with all my heart.
We have a 7 year age gap, but that doesn't bother us. He is 22 if you are wondering.
We have been together for 3 years! Which amazes us both. We got engaged on February 2, 2007. & we found out we were pregnant in around May. I'm due in January 2008.
This is my second column on here, my first one being "mayonnaise".
I have a wonderful twin sister, Alexandra. She has a column, but hardly ever uses it.
I love piercings, and I currently have a little over 20. I also have two tattoos. Before you ask my brothers own a tattoo shop which is how I got my tattoos.
I'm Bipolar, and ADHD. I also am OCD. I have Tourettes. I've also had problems with Anorexia and Bulimia. I've been in rehab twice for my eating disorders. And I also had a PEG feeding tube in my stomach for a while.
I live in Lizard Lick, North Carolina.
If you are wondering where that is, its about 15 minutes away from Raleigh.
My fiance and I are attempting to buy a house in Raleigh. Getting out of this town is a huge priority.
I do have my permit, so I can drive. :]
My fiance recently bought me a car that isn't a piece like my 280z was.
I now have a 2007 Honda Civic! :]
I'm home schooled, and I'm in the 11th grade.
And that's about all you need to know about me.
I don't give amazing advice, and I admit it sucks sometimes. I try to give advice based on my opinion, because I don't give a fuck what you think about my answer. Feedback is a must. :]

I would never ever buy a computer over a laptop.
What is your personal opinion?
I think it is better to wait a couple of months more so you can gather a little bit extra money to buy a laptop especially since they are as well upgradeable.
Wich are the most reliable portable computers?

Personally, I think desktops are better than laptops. However laptops, are more convient. But I have both a desktop and computer, so I can't really complain about either. Even though I live on the laptop.
Just keep in mind, desktops are just as upgradeable as laptops.
I think the most reliable laptops, are MacBooks. I have an MacBook Pro, as well as my twin sister. They cost a little more, but it is worth it.
Does anybody know how to make animated icons for AIM and just regular icons that people have on their myspaces? I opened an account on Iconator, and I would really like to learn! Please help :] Thank you very much!!
Hi.
First, you need to download Jasc Animation Shop 3. You can do so on the Jasc website. This is what animates the icon.
On Paint you need to open it, set the page at 50 x 50 in pixels, and make your background. For example lets say you want the icon pink and the word "love" in black. You make your first icon black. Then Save. Then another one exact add "love".
Then go back to Animation Shop, and animate it. Now you should have a pink icon that is flashing the word "love".
Thats pretty much the simplest way I know how to do it.

I don't know what you call it but it's like your normal hairbrush and it's used to straighten your hair (battery operated or something else, dunno)...

I bought one of those a few years back. It is not battery operated, or anything. Just you use it basically like a flat iron, minus the heat. You have to close the brush, then go down following your hair dyer. Yes, do that at the same time.
No, it doesn't work unless you are a trained cosmetologist and have 5 hands to work with, and even then it doesn't work that great.
If you have wavy hair, and want it stick straight, invest in a flat iron.
It CAN damage the hair, just for the fact that you have got to use a hair dryer right up on the hair for it to work, even the least bit.
But don't waste your money, I know, I have. If you want a cheap flat iron look at Wal-Mart. They may not be the best in the world, but if you get lots of practice, you will be able to work it, and it will work just as good as a $100 flat iron.
turned 13 recently. my mom and i do not get along at all anymore. she hates my friends music clothes me and just how i act. my friends are all i love not my family not my mom not my cousins nothing and nobody else. so my mom makes fun of my friends and says everything she thinks is wrong with them and how they dress and all about them. then i try to get her to stop she talks over me so i cant say anything then i yell then she yells then im grounded. then she says 'o i dont care what you do do whatever you want' then i do then a little while later she get even madder about it. everything i wear that is red purple black brown she gets mad and yells till i change. my jewelry she tells me to take it off then the next day after school its gone she takes my stuff. she tells me to burn things that I like and I wear. im screaming and crying more than ever. but when im around my friends im fine. their gothic their parents let them wear what they want. i cant even get the side bangs. my friend had them and died her hair redish brown it even mainly looks brown its not bad at all. her parents let her. shes having confirmation soon even. i told my mom then she starts saying thats stupid her parents are wrong for letting her do that thats just sick. my ears closed up i want my ears either double repeirced on the lobe or on the cartlidge. my other friends mom asked her if she wanted hers but she said no her mom asked her daughter. WTF! why does it matter how i dress! now its to the point i have to hide my music i add songs i hate in a folder like glamorous and stuff like that then a folder for the music i like like evanescence and the used and stuff like that and i erased the names on all of them their just numbered. last time she heard it she freaked out yelling at me. then i hide my jewelry in a locked box saying pictures. my friends saw me cry for the first time yesterday. they know about my mom so they came over wearing preppy junk and tried acting different for me so my mom would leave me and them alone. my mom said clothes doesnt make a person. so they said ya so why does it matter its just clothes. my mom said but MY clothes do matter. so all the yelling in my life is for nothing because clothes dont matter. but its who i am its what i like its my body not hers. gothic is another stereotype just like preppy is. my brother is preppy so he gets all he wants. my mom is trying to change me she wants me to dress like a slut all the clothes she gets for me. my Best friend is a guy which can never ever comeover hes even a prep. everyone makes fun of me family cousins strangers and people at school. i can cut my hair it wouldnt help i could cut my wrists just might again deep id be quicker. but im guessing my moms rule is NO friends fun or freedom. ive been going trough this for about 2 years she will not budge i will not either. i will never give up. i tell her all this like one thing everyday till im sent to my room then refuse then get grounded. if she yells ill yell i even told her that. i act calm she yells then i do. i say how prep and goth are both just stereotypes how their just names and how she gives him everything because its a different name. i go through too much for anyone to go through. i only act tough because id be dead 2 years ago if i didnt. i cant get a therepist or even talk to my mom or write what else is there to do before i die and shell never even care. there is no way of ''kindly'' doing anything to her she just wont let me.

Its a belief. Thats probably why your mom is freaking out. If you are going for the "goth" style, just call it punk.
Anyways, attempt to write your mom a letter. Tell her the way you dress only because you do not want to be a carbon copy of everyone else. Tell her that you are not trying to do anything other than look like your own person. Let her know that you want her to understand. Tell her you don't like arguing/yelling at her, and that you are only trying to get your point across that you are only trying to be yourself, not a carbon copy fake person.
If it really bothers you that much, talk to your dad. Or call the police or child protection on her.

i really want to get my nose piersed, if i do i found out that my moms docters does piersing and i would feel so much better knowing that the docters is clean safe and they know what they are doing.
i heard that if your nose piersing (sp sorry) gets infected it can lead to brain damage.
cause the same blood vessels in your nose are shared by blood vessels going into your brain.
that worrys me cause everyones bodys handel it diffrently. im 13 is this too young of a age heath wise??
i mean i wanna know how rare the brane damage thing is cause a piersing isnt worth the risk.

Well the first step is to learn to actually spell "piercing"
Now, I'm a little offended by you saying that you know a doctor is more clean, safe, and know what they are doing. Doctors, study medicine. Body Piercers, study piercing. Now, who knows more, doctor or piercer. A body piercer actually has to go to school to learn to pierce, and most shops are very clean and steryle. So, Please, Don't put a bad image on tattoo/piercing shops.
You asked if your body can handle it, that is totally up to you and how you feel about it. If you are nervous/hesitant, I don't suggest getting it. Health wise, it all depends on how you take care of your piercing.
You can not get brain (you need to learn to spell that also) damage from a nose piercing.
Personally, I don't think that you are mature enough to get a piercing, just because you are asking strangers how to convince your mother, and you can't really spell it worth a crap, and you obviously have done no research.
You should research it, learn a little about it.
However, I have over 20 piercings and help out at a piercing shop, and if you need to know anything, feel free to ask me.

i have a parakeet, maybe 1 to 2 years old, and a male. lately, i have noticed that the feathers around his beak are a redish color. they have turned more pink now. what could this be from? i dont know if there could be a dye in his food. i feed him Hartz universal diet for small birds. he also has an orange cuttle bone in his cage, but he has never used it, so i dont think that could be it. so what are some possibilities of why his feathers are redish pink?

Get your bird a food made especially for parakeets. That is much more healthier for him. Its about the same price as what you are buying him.
You can buy vitamins for birds that are for their feathers at Wal-Mart. Buy some of those, and put one in his food a day. Those things work miracles.
The cuttle bone, actually isn't food or anything, birds don't eat them. They just rub their beak on them, so it couldn't be that.
I think it could just be from lack of viatamins. Also feeding him food made for him helps his color out. My bird had the same problem, and the vet recommended what I told you.
i got my parakeet a seed stick, and put it in his cage. i dont know if he realizes it is a treat for him, but he hasnt touched it. also, he hasnt touched his cuttle bone. ive never had this problem with any of my other birds. how can i introduce him to the treats and the cuttle bonce so he will use them?

I have a cockatiel, but I just put the treat and cuttle bone near where he spends 90% of his time. He pretty much got the hint. Those millet seed sticks are like chocolate for birds, so I'm sure he will like it.
Just put it where he spends a lot of his time, or hang it in the middle of his cage.
Make sure you put it near his perch also.

As far as the whole french kiss part..thats not how mine was. Ha. My first kiss was with my fiance, forever ago, and it was just he picked me up and we kissed. I mean it was long, but no tongue or whatnot was used.
As for the whole never kissed and be a natural. It just comes natural. Like you always imagine what to do and such, but when it actually happenes, it all comes to you. Kinda like breathing I guess.

k i'm a nintendo type person so recently i heard a system called the nintendo wii came out. im probably thinking of buyin one for christmas but i dunno. i seen like the stuff it has like the controller for example. does it really have to be a remote? i searched on google images and found that there are wii controllers that are sort of similar to the gamecube ones. are there wii's for sale that sell controllers instead of the remote? its just cuz..well im thinking im not gonna get used to using a remote. =/
Hi. My fiance' bought me a Wii, and I have the remote controller and the regular one.
You cannot buy a Wii and get a regular controller. However you can buy one seperatly for around $20. BUT, I have learned that a good 90% of games require the remote.
The remote works like a controller, it has the up and down, left and right thing, and it has the a, b, c buttons. Its just smaller.
