I have anorexia and have not had my period for 2 or 3 months, but I was wondering, even though I don't get my period can I still get side-effects like bloating? Because normally I'd be getting my period this week but since I don't get it anymore, I didn't. But I'm bloated. So...is that possible?
curliecue answered Monday April 16 2007, 12:15 am: The loss of your period is a condition called ammenorhea. It is common in girls with anorexia. The bloating is a side effect of the anorexia, not the mensturation. I wish you a successful recovery from this disease. [ curliecue's advice column | Ask curliecue A Question ]

i'm not going to lecture you, because you are going to do what you want anyway. but keep in mind that anorexia is a very unhealthy way of living and even if it keeps you thin now it can set you up for some serious problems later in life. [ phantaa's advice column | Ask phantaa A Question ]
