What are the most popular teen stores that you can think of? I want to dress more popular this year but I'm kind of stuck on what stores are considered "in" right now. We have lots of stores around here like Old Navy, Hollister, Abercrombie&Fitch, American Eagle, Fashion Bug, HotTopic, etc etc
What's the most popular stores that us teens shop at now?
Forever 21 is my favorite. I also really like Victoria's Secret PINK. That's really "in" right now.
But honestly? I think you shouldn't dress how everybody else does. Do what you want and choose the clothes that are "in" for YOU :)

my boyfriend fingered me for the first time, and it kind of hurt. he wasn't doing it too hard or anything, he was being gentle and stuff, but is it normal for it to hurt?
It's totally normal for it to hurt, because it's the first time. It will stop hurting once your body gets used to it.

i'm looking for some books about teen sex + romance. anything along those lines, i like books that go more into detail and aren't just about puppy love but go deeper than that.
let me know! ty guys all help is appreciated :)
Anything by Ellen Hopkins is really good. Her books are really deep, and most of them do deal with sex. They're just amazing books and I highly recommend them.
Other than that:
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen.
Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

Hi, I'm a 17 year old girl and I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 6 months now. We love each other very much and we've been talking about giving oral to each other, I know it should be based on if we're comfortable with each other but I just want to know what other people think, am I too young? thank you for you're time, your response really means a lot to me.
I'm not going to tell you that you're too young, and I'm not going to judge you. I'm simply going to give you my insight, because I'm 17 and I've been with my boyfriend for 5 months now, so I know exactly how you're feeling.
If you know that you love your boyfriend and you know that BOTH (not just one of you, it has to be mutual) are ready, then I think you should talk about it together and then try it if you decide it's the best decision.
Talk to your boyfriend about it, and see what he has to say. It helps a lot to talk to him about things openly, even if it is a little embarrassing. But I can guarantee you that he will appreciate you for talking to him about it and valuing his views on the subject. My boyfriend has told me that one of the things he likes best about our relationship is that we can talk openly about things like that. After talking to him, make a decision together.
Personally, I wouldn't say that you're too young, because if you're comfortable enough with him and he's comfortable enough with you, then you should do things when they feel right to you. And the fact that you didn't rush into it after dating for like, a week, is a really good indicator that you guys have a pretty solid relationship, which also is a really good thing.
I hope this helps, and if you want to talk more, send me an inbox :)
-Laura (17-f)
we're not officially together, we're just dating to get to know each other currently. i haven't known him that long, so what would be a good gift to give him? he's 23, 5'8", and he's a professional poker player, that's all i can think of right now, haha. thanks for the help!
Make him a mix CD.
Get him a gift card.
Surprise him and make him a nice dinner.
Take him out to dinner at his favorite place.
Get him a book relating to poker.
Get him a jersey of his favorite sports team.
Get him a nice box of chocolates.

I have no money for valentines day but how can i get a necklace with a heart with no money?
Thanks for inboxing.
I'm really not sure how you can buy something without money? Maybe ask a friend or somebody if they have a necklace like the one you're looking for that you could use?
Or why not try making something instead?

I really want to get my eyebrow pierced but I am worried.
What do you think about a guy who has an eyebrow piercing? Hot? Not? Gross? Nothing? Anything?
Oh and if a guy gets his eyebrow pierced which one should it be? Does it even matter which one?
Thank you ladies!
I'm not a fan of eyebrow piercings. I don't think you should do it.

My friend said that we were all going to play "the 21 questions game" when we meet at her house for dinner in a couple weeks. My problem is that I never heard of any such thing before! :(
Obviously there are questions but am I asking them or answering them or both? If I have to ask questions what kinds of things should I ask to play the 21 questions game without looking like a retard.
Thanks so much to those of you who have social lives and know these things! :)
Every time that I've played 21 questions, myself and the other person have alternated between asking and answering.
Things you can ask vary. I usually start out simple [What's your favorite band? What's your favorite/least favorite food? and stuff like that.] Then, you can get deeper and more personal [Who was your first kiss? Who do you have a crush on? and stuff like that.]

Have fun! :)

It has come to my attention that I have no hobby to enjoy in my spare time. This is causing me problems in my relationship since it appears that I have no real interest in anything in particular. I have known about this problem for awhile and have searched the internet time and time again for something appealing and have yet to find a good hobby to pick up. It's not that I'm bored in my spare time--it's that I don't really DO anything.
What are some good suggestions for new hobbies that I might be interested in beginning? Does anyone know of some unique hobbies that might spark my interest? Any suggestion is appreciated...
I recently took a piano 1 class at my school, and my parents got me a keyboard for Christmas. I've been teaching myself to read and play music a lot lately. It's a lot of fun and I love it :)
Another thing you can try is gardening. I know it sounds stupid, but it's actually pretty neat. I started working at a garden center last year, so I started gaining all this knowledge and telling my mom about it, until finally, we took advantage of my store discount and planted some vegetables and whatnot of our own :)
Hope this helps! If you need more ideas, just send me an inbox.

Hey guys,
I'm curious to know if any of you know some great teen (ish) books that are about romance, any that include sex, relationships, etc. I've read plenty, but I'm still looking for more. Any help is much appreciated :) the ones I read are more PG 13, so I'm looking for books that go into more detail.
Thanks!
Ellen Hopkins is an amazing author. Her books are really deep, and they're a lot about drugs, sex, addiction, etc. But they're really well written and you should definitely check them out.
Aside from that:
- Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson.
- What My Mother Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones.
- Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen.
- This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen (My all time favorite book.)
- Exit Here by Jason Myers.
- The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan (My 2nd all time favorite book!)
If you need more, just send me an inbox :)

im 17/f
hes 19/m
so i've had about 13 or so boyfriends, and hes had about 5 girlfriends. (im not a virgin, he is) we met on a site called myyearbook and we met at restaurant ,had dinner and its been a week and we've hung out/gone out together 4 or so times. we've kissed, held hands,he compliments me,ect. im interested in having a mature relationship with him. not just a high school fling, if that makes sense.
he texted me "how do you like me so far?" and i told him how he was smart, cute, funny, and how i felt being with him, ect. then i asked him the same and he said "i think your really cool. i like that you accept me for who i am and that you want to hang with me?"
sounds like something a friend who say to another friend.
i didnt wanna scare him off by asking bluntly "are we boyfriend and girlfriend" so i texted him " what are you looking for in a relationship, if one at all" he replied "i don't really know right now...what are you looking for?" i fell asleep before i could answer, but he seems really into me when were in person. but we hung out yesterday and we started kissing but then when star trek came back on it seemed like he'd rather watch that.
im trying to be understanding that hes shy, and hasnt had a lot of girlfriends, but i really like this guy, but im so use to having 'in charge' boyfriends, im not use to shy guys.
i dont want to scare him off, its only been a week.what should i do?
Thanks for inboxing.
I'm not really sure what he's looking for because you didn't give a super lot of details. My advice? Give him time. Hang out with him more and get to know each other a little better. Spend some more time together and let the relationship mature; don't rush into anything. Don't bring it up yet, because it's only been a week. Get closer to him first, and let him get comfortable with you and vice versa. The bottom line here: give it sometime.
Good things come to those who wait :)

I want to learn how to play a specific song on the piano. It's not too complex, but not easy either.
I've never played piano before, nor can I read sheet music. I intend to learn to play it through a video tutorial on youtube that basically tells you which keys to press, in which sequence, and for how long (it's already helped me a little).
Any tips on this?
And is it better to learn how to play the song one hand at a time (if so, which hand is best to start with?) and then combine the two, or learn the song little by little with both hands?
Honestly, I would just learn to read music. Just learn the basics (what each line of the staff is and what each space is) and you'll have a really strong foundation already. It's really easy.
If you want help with it, send me an inbox and I will be glad to help you out :) You could probably even just Google "Beginning Piano Lessons" or something, too.
As for the learning to play part, it really depends on your preference. I'd assume that when you're starting out, generally it's easier to learn one hand at a time. That's how I started out, until I get a good feel for it. I still even do it when I'm trying to learn more complex songs. So, I would probably advise you to learn each hand seperately and then put it all together.
Now I'm by NO means an expert here, but I've been working a lot on learning piano myself lately.
Good luck!

Anyone know the song that was playing
on the second episode of Teen Mom when
Ryan came home and found the note on the
bed?
Please say the artist and name of the song
I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the same song that I loved when I heard it.
It's called "Marching Bands of Manhattan" by Death Cab for Cutie :)
