I'm class president for the 2nd year and a StuCo officer. StuCo is more than a club, it`s a passion. I`m in Paws & Peace, STL, yearbook, A+ tutoring, Sophomore Executive, cheerleading. I LOvE to give advice; if you ask me a question you will get an answer. If you ask a dumb question, you will get a dumb answer. Easy as that. advice

I was in a long distance relationship with a guy for 8 months. I met him at a summer camp 2 summers ago and we started dating in July. We saw each other 2 times during our relationship, then I surprised him once and visited his church this past summer after we broke up in April. He was my first kiss and my first love. I've had a boyfriend since we broke up, because I thought I was over him. He's one of my best friends and we still talk all of the time. I got over him because I didn't think he loved me anymore. He broke up with me because the distance was hard on him. He's more than worth the distance to me. After me and my last boyfriend broke up, we started talking a lot more cause we didn't talk so much while I was in a new relationship. I talked to him last night and my sister asked him if he liked me. He said yes, but that we couldn't do anything about it because I live here and he lives there. I understand where he's coming from, but I might see him about 2 times before the end of the school year and then again for a full week because of summer camp. Because we still like each other, when we see each other, I still want to be together. I'm still in love with him. I guess I should tell him, but what would you do? I have an idea, but I want other peoples' opinions.

This year, I'm taking the SAT. I've taken the PSAT and didnt do as well as I thought I could. How can I prepare for it, because I am very busy with sports, clubs, AND AP classes!! Also, what topics are there? Like what do I need to know for the math, reading, and writing parts?

ONE MORE THING. =) I'm taking a very hard class this year: AP World History. It's extremely difficult, and I am having trouble remembering everything that we have already learned. How do I remember all of it easily and how do I pass the AP test with flying colours?

i dont know about the SAT, but last winter i took the ACT and its just basic things that you have learned throughout all of your school years. mostly what youve learned in high school. it just wants to see how well you comprehend and remember it. if you have trouble in your classes, try making flash cards and taking good notes.

Is it normal to be depressed most the time when your a teenager is that a natural thing or are u soppose to be all happy and shit? i'll rate, just a little curious

being depressed isnt fun. no. but it is healthy, your 'happiness' and 'sadness' have to be balanced as a teenager. its not good to be too happy because you might idk "blow up" on something stupid. being depressed helps you get rid of your anger. it may make you mad and sad and very angry but you just need to know how to handle it. most depression is caused by stress. stress is caused by friends family peers school pressure (ect) and teens do have alot of stress to deal with.

One day, lets just say "Bob", he wrote me a note saying 'hey, and somehow we got into a sexual conversation. He was asking me ?'s such as, who did you make out with and did you ever give head? Later that week, we started talking online alot. We started liking each other. While all this happening, he had a long term girlfriend, although they broke up about 9 or 10 times. They broke up about 2 weeks ago, and have stayed broken up. I talked to a few people and they said that he might be trying to get a fast fuck. They said this because it was a little weird that he just now started talking to me. Before this we never spoke. Do you think that he is being truthful or is he trying to use me? (hes called me several times and has asked me to hang out)

it sounds like he might be useing you yeahh, but i wouldnt have noticed it unless someone pointed it out... so just talk to him if you want just dont get to caught up in him and make it serious. try and stay at the 'just friends' level.

first of all, im 13 anf a girl. i like two guys. one guy have known for three years. the other is new to my school since monday. the new guy is also my teacher's son. to make it easier, lets call the guy ive known for 3 years, T and the new guy, A.
the whole week that i was in school with A, he oicked on me and always wanted me to sit by him. well i got his screen name and firday nite we started talking. in my profile it says i like somebody. he wanted to know who it was. after i awhile i told him. he told me he liked me too. we stayed up all night. he constantly flirted with me and was really sweet. i began to seriously like him. he keeps hinting that he wants me to ask him out or vice versa. but i still like T. what do i do.
now the situation with T is that i liked him for awhile. my friend asked him if he liked me and he said he was unable to answer that. i took it as a no and started to not like him so i could get over him. well it kinda worked, but i still like him. well last night we got in a fight because he told me that i liked A. well i got mad at him for sayin that. well he sent me the sweetest apology letter. in it he said that he was jealous of A and that he liked me. i sent him a message back sayin that i kinda still liked him. he said now that i also like A, he is kicking himself for not telling me earlier.
A is leaving my school at the end of this month. T will be going to high school with me. what should i do? i really like them both. but right now i think i like A more. im so confused. what should i do?

even if you like "A" more it seems like you and "T" have a better past and future together. youve known eachother, you talk all the time, and youll go to the same high school. if "A" is only gonna be there for a month it might get hard to see eachother. plus if you and "A" went out wouldnt you think id be a little weird at school with his mom being your teacher?? her always watching you guys...! if hes gonna leave soon then it will be harder then ever to get over him OR go threw with a 'long distance' relationship. with "T" you will be happier for longer...

Ugh, my huge winter dance is in a few weeks (about 3) and I asked this kid i dont know too well but i mean i talk to him everyday jus sayin Hi or somethin. well, I asked him at 10:57 and then he didnt answer. then at 11:23 i asked if he was there nd he didnt answer (this is all online) then an hour later i saw he went away and then came back. so i IMed him nd asked if he saw what i said. here was the convo when he came back

My parents won’t let me go out at night or with my guy friends. And this is what all my friends are doing so night after night I’m finding myself at home playing chess with my little brother. This is not how 10th grade is supposed to be. How do I get my parents to loosen up? Also they won’t let teenagers drive me places. How do I convince them that this is ok? And how do I get them to trust me with more freedom?

its okay if they dont want people driving you places if they JUST got their liscence.. just wait a little while to drive with people. just tell them that you are growing up and you want to go out. reassure them that you are responsible and you know what youre doing and wouldnt do anything stupid and irrisponsible. maybe if youre parents knew the people you are going to be with, they might change thier mind if they are good people.. then if they already do know them then thats probably why they dont want you to be with them. not trying to be judgemental but thats how it is sometimes.

my girlfriend is unhappy and i don't know what to do. i've tried comforting her and asking her what's wrong but she won't tell me.

she did tell me her "friend" said she was stupid and she sucked at life. she actually listens to her, since she's apparently "always almost right".

just keep doing what youre doing. comfort her. just be there for her. even if you have absolutly no idea why you are doing it or what shes sad about, you are doing it because you love her. dont bring it up in a conversation, if she wants to talk about it then shell bring it up. dont bother her about it. tell her not to listen to her friend and that she is perfect and she means the world to you and that you love her. if she doesnt have anything to say back to you then at least she knows that you love her and that you are there for her. it takes girls a long time to actually speak their mind sometimes. but assure her that you will be there for her whenever she needs someone to talk to and that you will try to understand.

try light brown low lights. like a color a tad bit darker then your natural color,, but not too much darker. if you dont like that then maybe get a darker color bottom layer like some girls have now. its cute but you would have to see if you think it looks good on you...

I just started a construction type job and I am the youngest, the smallest, the least experienced, and one of only two women on the crew. I do not have the size or strength to do the heavier stuff so the other female and I do small jobs to make it easier for the men to do large jobs. I pull my weight and the boss is satisfied with me. But the guys are being awfully condescending, perhaps unintentionally, but still annoying. They do things like pat me on the head, arm or back and tell me what a "good little worker" I am. I really resent it, but I don't know how to tell them so without making them angry with me. Should I ignore them (the job only lasts for another few days) or tell them to quit somehow, and if I tell them to quit, how do I do that and still maintain good work relationships with them?

if they make you mad then make them mad back. embarrase them somehow someway. they are being way immature about this and it will blow over and laugh about it.

Ok .. I just got out of a relationship w/ a guy that I didn't talk to much before we started dating. He was a fun guy and I asked him to a dance and we got closer from there. Well, we broke up over a month ago, and he hasn't said anything to me at all really. He's smiled at me, but it's rare. I do want to keep a friendship with him even though he broke up with me. definatly try to get a friendship back together! but be patient about it. if you put yourself out there and try to talk constantly right away hell assume you want to get back together. especially if you say you miss talking to him. i mean yeahh eventually say that but not right away. be like we used to have so much fun together. or we used to talk soo much. or omigosh it seems like i havent talked to you in forever! tell him that you really want to start talking again and become friends. and it helps alot if you just have random convos online too!

i got my first period the last day of november. when should i be like preparred to get it again?

if you got it on november 30th then be prepared on the 28th to start again. you start every 4 weeks. but it always is weird when you first start so just be prepared!! maybe panty liners a couple days before...
