I dye my hair champagne/platinum blonde quite frequently and it looks great the first week or two. But after that, it slowly fades into a really dull color. I use John Frieda Sheer Blonde (for champagne and plantinum highlighted hair), but that doesn't hold the color too well. Has anyone personally used a specific brand of shampoo and conditioner that they could suggest for my shade? Thanks.

If you read the back of the John Frieda shampoo it specifically says it has no color or dye in it- it's just designed to make your hair shinier. Go to a beauty supply store and find a color depositing shampoo, and that should work.

does anyone know how much invisalign braces cost? i have gaps in my teeth & i'm really considering invisable retainers. also do most insurance companies cover them even it's only partially?

They start at $9,000 (if your teeth are almost perfect) which is almost double the price of real braces. Most people have them for two years minimum but most insurance companies don't cover it. You can only get them if you're over 16 and your teeth are done growing/moving. My aunt had them and she said once a month (when you get a new set) they hurt, really bad. I don't recommend them because they're not actually invisible...they're greenish brownish tinted, it looks pretty gross. I recommend clear braces instead, they're made out of plastic so they hurt less and you can get clear rubber bands on them too. They're much more "invisible" than invisalign, hurt less, and work faster. Ask your orthodontist either way.

I know this question might come up a lot but I can't find answers that can help me out so I'm sorry.

Anyways, this Saturday I'm having a surpise party for my friend John. I'm having about 20 people over and I have no idea what to do!? We're in highschool so we porobablly wouldn't want to play board games and such. I don't have a pool or trampoline.

Any ideas.. fun things. My friends can get bored easily and it's only going to be for at least 3 hours.

I'm in highschool too and I'v been surprised at how some fun some "kids toys" are. Twister is actually really fun when you're older. Have a pillow fight. Truth or Dare is always a good standby. Burn some CDs and spend 45 minutes dancing, snacking, and chatting. Have a movie playing in one room. If it's hot where you live, turn your sprinklers and hose on and give everyone buckets or squirt guns and have a water fight. Instead of truth or dare, just do dares...make one of the guys dress up like a girl and walk around outside...take pictures. Have a "chicken fight" (girls sit on guys shoulders and try to knock each other down- best played on grass). Make sure to have food, and if all else fails just let people talk. Have fun!

what is the best program for downloading music?

Itunes. If you want free music, get Itunes anyway (it's free) and then get Limewire. Once you're done downloading a song on Limewire, open up My Music (it's in My Documents on your desktop) and double click on the song file. It will play on Itunes and from there you can burn it onto a CD or put it on your Ipod. Don't ever play song files on Limewire and make sure you have an antispyware program.

ok im going to be a freshman, so i just have a couple of questions about homecoming. =0

is it better to go with friends or a date? and what if ur not a really lively dancer but then when you get into it and do some things you will regret later.

If someone asks you and you like them, go with a date, but it's more fun with friends. And just a warning...you will see a lot of really dirty dancing so chances are even if you do something you regret no one else will notice.

Spend $20 to $60 on your dress, it should be knee length. Don't rent a limo, it's only semiformal. Have a friend do your hair and do your own makeup. I recommend Macy's for your dress, and Payless for your shoes because you will probably never wear them again. Start shopping a month ahead of time.

Everyone's feet are different sizes- my left foot is a 7/8 and my right foot is a nine. It's like anything else- eyes, eyebrows, ears, boobs- people are not symmetrical.

Why do my questions ALWAY'S get deleted by the moderators, even if they are good and important questions?

Probably because they have bad grammar (um...ALWAY'S?) or spelling. Mostly likely because it's a question that's gotten asked way too many times...examples being...
"How do I tell if someone likes me?"
"I like someone. What do I do?"
"How do I shave my hair down there?"
"I have little red bumps on my legs."
"Where can I get a ____ layout for myspace/xanga?"
Any question with more than two paragraphs.
A question you could find the answer to on google.

I absolutley hate my figure! I am 5 foot 6 inches tall and I weigh 127 pounds. My main problem is my legs. They are very long and make me feel disproportioned. They also seem to be the first thing people notice, which I don't like. How can I take the notice away from my legs and bring it to my other great features?

Long legs are a very, very good thing. Guys like them a lot and girls with short legs will envy you. Wear longer skirts, long pants, and no heels if you want to de-emphasize them, but I really can't see why you'd want to. One thing you can wear to make your torso look longer is long tanks and tees, like down to the middle of your butt. Wear a cropped sweater over it and it will help.

Do NOT break up with him unless you meet a specific guy you're interested in. Going to dances single just sucks- if you get asked to dance, it's rarely anyone even halfway attractive and if you don't get asked it's miserable. You don't have to bring him to every dance, but believe me, you're not missing out on anything.

Just one. They cost about 39 cents each now, you can get them at some grocery stores (most Safeways). I live in CA and I send letters to New Jersey a lot and it's only more than one stamp if you have more than just a few sheets of paper in it.

I am currently writing a novel. I have about 70-80 pages done, and will soon need a title. The novel focuses mainly around the topic of self-injury, more specifically, cutting.
