It's their religion. In America, the third or fourth group of people who came here were very Christian, and our culture is pretty much based on what they did. Christianity is becoming less popular. I'm 14, and a sophmore. I will be 15 soon, I just have a late birthday. I've done stuff with guys like making out and all because all my boyfriends are always older than me. Like almost everyone in my grade has had sex, done drugs, drinks, stuff like that. Well I just got drunk for the first time the other night, and im still a virgin. Everyone is telling me I shouldnt still be a virgin. Like my sisters friend is 19 and he told me that its normal to lose it when your in highschool. I'm so scared to have sex though because what if it hurts, or I get pregnant, stuff like that ya know? I dont know anything about it either, well I do but I dont know any movements and stuff. Theres this guy whose 18 and I have dated him 2 times, we went to prom and everything and he is a really good friend, when I got drunk everyone told me I was saying that I think I love him. I didnt even know I did. We might get back together because he keeps telling everyone he likes me alot. He calls me and everything so yea. Just because they think it's "normal" doesn't mean it's right for you. Your body may be ready for sex, but you're obviously not ready, and that's perfectly okay. If you date someone for a long time and want to have sex...whatever...that's your choice. It's not up to anyone else to say what's okay for you. Lots of people don't have sex until they are much older. I'm seventeen and I've only kissed once. Everybody is different.

If you think you should kiss him, do it. But just relax and have fun!! That's what water parks are for, right? And you're with your BOYFRIEND, it's okay to kiss him. If it's awkward and he just sort of stares blankly at you, cover it up by raising your hands high above your head and dancing in a circle shouting, "Obelisk! Oreo! Yah, yah, the fishes!", or something equally silly. You'll all get a good laugh, and your cuteness rating will go WAY up.

Go to photobucket.com or tinypic.com, and upload your favorite picture. Then when you go to edit your profile, it will say URL for a picture, and you can type in the web address where that picture is located. I hate that too. Nothing in this world is 15 kb or less.

ok, well, im a christian. and i look at the horoscopes ALL of the time and im starting to think that there true. but my mom says its bad and i dont know how they r bad. how r they bad and is it really gonna affect my relationship with god?

They're not really bad. They're not even really real, and this is coming from a Pagan. They're fun and harmless and not a big deal at all. The only reason she thinks they're bad is because when Christianity replaced the old religions, they demonized everything else so that more people would decide to be Christians. It's no big deal. I like to read horoscopes and compare them to how I really feel. I was reading a Zodiac book and the description of Cancer women (that's my sign, not my disease, btw) was pretty accurate for me. That's cool and all, but I don't take it too seriously. Though you can make a lot of money being an astrologist. Remind you're mom that there are a lot worse things you can be doing than reading out of the "fun n games" section of the Sunday paper. She definitely needs a reality check. I've heard of people freaking out because they found incense and pentacles in their kid's rooms, but horoscopes? Get with the times!

Don't worry about it. I got my first and only kiss at 16 (I'm 17 now, and this is so pathetic, I had to tell him to do it. Gaah!) When it happens you just go with it, don't worry you'll know what to do. If you mess up it's no big deal because you get better with practice.
