I am a redhead and grew up hating it because I was different than the rest of my family. I never felt like I fit in at all. I love it now, but back then, I wanted to dye it brown so that I would be like everyone else.
Well now I have an almost-3-year-old son who has sandy brown/blonde hair and a 5.5 month old son whose hair matches mine perfectly. I knew that someday people would start commenting, but I didnt realize it would be so soon. We went to the doctors office and she said to my 5 month old "look at that hair!" and then to my 3 year old "where's your red hair?" He didnt understand (he did say "I dont know") but I know that, one of these days, he's going to feel like people are saying that he doesnt belong with us and they are singling him out for being different.
I dont necessarily want to be rude back, but I do want for these people to know that they are being rude. I want something that will be appropriate for him to say in later years too.
The only thing I can come up with is something like "I shared" which doesnt nearly get the point across. I dont know what kind of response these idiots are looking for anyways. They just say things like this to make the person uncomfortable. They deserve to be made to feel uncomfortable/stupid in return. (link)

If it was an eye-for-an-eye, the whole world would be blind. I say you take a more responsible approach. Teach your children that having red hair, is a beautiful, and unique asset. Once you boost his confidence up, he can figure out what to say, because he will like it and be comfortable with it. I know thats probabaly what you didnt want to know, but i think its the best advice i can give.

Ok here goes... I am a 26 year old female... And it's this guy that I've known for about 6 years now... We first started dating six years ago.. We dated for about three months and then he dumped me... We were broken up for two weeks... when he asked me to be friends with benifits... So we were that for a while... And it didn't work out so on again off again we dated... and remain friends... He's currently single and so am I... I got in a relationship with a guy for a year and I was madly in love with him... He ended up breaking my heart and... My friend/ ex was there by myside... But for about the last 4 years I really didn't look at him for like more than a friend but lately I say the past month I have been starting to catch feelings again for him... I really starting to like him but he haven't made any move towards trying something special with him so all we do is like talk on the phone and we live bout five minutes from each other... My question is... Do you think that it's cool to back track or do you believe that it will never work... Should I continue looking at him as a friend or should I just foget about it... In my opinion, i think your just trying to re-light a candle that has allready blown out so to speak. Maybe its because you are getting lonely? because you did get your heart broken?
If it didnt work out the many times you tried, i dont think it will work again? But then again, only you can trust your instincts. I say, If you try to meet new people, then you may realise someone else thats actually for you, wont break your heart, and that you love.
But then again, going for it with this guy, could be the last chance with him, and if you REALLY REALLY love/like him, then go for it. Maybe he thinks you're over him, because you were in love with another guy for a year, and you obviousely didnt have feelings for the other fella during this time.
Only you know if you should go for it. Would it make sence to try again and again and again? Or are you just giving your heart more attention that your head?

its human nature...when you could have it- you didnt want it. Now that you cant, you want it (it being the friendship). just talk to her, just be all "hey...how u doing...sorry for being so stubborn before...etcetc"
Talking to her is the only way to resolve it, and however proud you may be, you need to admit that you are wrong sometimes.

Hello, 15, female. I make clothing, I love it, so much. I make garments for my friends and family and I have contacted multiple magazines to sponsor me. I have also contacted Macy's to see if I could start a line there and they e-mailed me and said that they like my bubble dresses and that if my designs fit the criteria that I could start a line. I know I shouldn't get excited quite yet considering I don't know if I have it yet or not. However, if they turn me down, what should I do next? Design something to fit the bill of Macy's or contact somewhere else? Also, I'm not to sure what will happen with me and school. Will I have to leave early some days to go to meetings and such? Because I can not do that at all. Also, if Macy's wants my clothes, they will pay for everything right? Where will I go from here if Macy's takes me up on my offer? Will other stores want me or will I just be stagnant in one store, is there a way to go up from there to big time companies in New York and stuff? Thanks for ANY help!! (link)

its amazing how at 15 you already have what you want to be in life all figured out :) if Macy's does in fact take you up on the offer than you most likely can figure out a schedule that works for both you and the company. also if it falls through you can definitely contact several other companies because if Macy's falls through many more doors will open for you, the goal is not to give up, and Macy's might have or might not have a contract stating that you can or can't go to other stores with your clothing but im sure you can always go to other stores as well, i really doubt that they wont allow it to be so, look more into it, ask them about it, and if they dont have a contract stating so you can definitely have your clothing in companies in New York , but remember whatever the outcome is with Macy's, never give up on your dream :)

there are many artistic ideas you can do for school, hope these ideas help you :)
you can always make a painting and local stores sell paint & art notepads at a very reasonable price :)
powerpoint, also allows you to create very creative artistic slides. :)
you can also sculpt something, stores like walmart sell molding clay at reasonable prices as well :)
you can also buy a poster cut out awesome artistic pictures from magazines, newspapers and make a collage out of it :)

this hits close to home because i went through the same situation, i always ended up following my friends by skipping or not listening or getting sucked into all the drama that was going on, but eventually i learned to buckle down and stopped worrying about how people would perceive me and started doing what was best for me,i grew up i stopped focusing on what others were doing and started living my life, and thats the advice i give to you do your own thing, because if you continue skipping and not listening you won't make it which would be unfortunate because you CAN make it if you just focus, and start paying attention, hitting the books, and you can always have fun on the weekends or join a club at school. :) i hope my advice helped and keep me informed on how everything went if my advice helps you in any way :)

Hello! Here's the introduction: 17 (almost 18)/female and my boyfriend is the same... except male...
So, we have a real problem. With lots of little problems interspersed. My boyfriend and I have been together for just under a year and we believe we truly are in love. We have a very stable relationship and have tons of fun. However, as it is being in most relationships, we want to have sex. We've had sex twice before and it was AMAZING! Better than either of us expected, lol... but now... Now we can never ever seem to find the time/privacy to do it. There are so many problems that prevent us from doing it!
1. My parents work from home so they're basically ALWAYS home.
2. His parents don't trust us to be in a room alone when they're in the house, much less when they're gone.
3. He has a 4 little brothers that follow us around everywhere. I adore them... but they never leave us alone!
4. I drive, but I don't have a car and my boyfriend doesn't drive because of an accident he had when he was 15.
See?! Everything that could prevent us is put into play. It's so messed up. The two times we had sex were under fluke circumstances that probably can never be created again. What do we do? I don't think we can wait til we're in college because that's still about 6 months away... (link)

I'm planning on buying an Ipod Nano because it's cheaper than a regular one. Does an 8GB Ipod Nano hold the same amount of songs as an 8GB Classic Ipod?
That may be an extremely stupid question, but I honestly know nothing about these type of things.
Anyways, it said an 8GB Ipod Nano can hold up to 2000 songs and thousands of pictures. If I don't store any pictures, and I want to use the ipod nano just for songs, would that leave more room for more songs if I don't store anything else like videos or pictures?
I'd only want songs, and, assuming the songs are around 4-5 mins each, I'm just wondering if I can get it to hold more than 2000 songs if I store nothing but songs.

1. Yes an 8gb iPod Nano contains the same amount of songs as an iPod Classic.
2. An iPod Nano of 8GB capacity can hold 2000 songs, OR 24000 pictures, OR 25 hours of video.
3. Songs vary in size, but 8GB can probabaly hold around 16-32 hours of music.

I alwaaays fear that i have a heart condition even though i am pefecttttly healthy ! i always fear that something will happen, in this case, i always feel my pulse. everytime i feel it, it's upbeat. i think it's because of my anxiety. i have BAD anxiety. are there any solutions to calm yourself down or are there any ways to get my mind off of it & to let me know that i am ok and that everything will be okay? simply breathe. Take deep breath's, so that oxygen can get into your lungs, and into your blood stream, to calm you down. Take deep breaths, and count them to 10, then start again from one if you need. hope i helped :)

I know it sounds pretty hilarious but it isn't really that funny at the moment. My husband is a good 16 years older than me and is fairly bald. I think he's a very attractive man and I've never had even the slightest problem with him being much older than me; however, my co-workers continue to refer to him as my father!
I understand that at first glance maybe it might look that way. I don't want make it an awkward moment in correcting them if I can avoid it: "Actually, he isn't my Dad...he's my husband..." usually leads to that odd silence, followed by a small gasp and an apology. Should I seek a new "phrase" in correcting?
How do I tell my coworkers that he ISN'T my father without coming off as rude while making it clear? I've noticed that I've had to correct a few of them multiple times so, obviously, I'm not making it clear enough. Then, there are those few people who continue to apologize the next few times I see them: "I had no idea he was your husband. I thought he was your Dad. I'm sorry!" Obviously, I'm coming off as rude to some of my coworkers.

I don't think my periods are normal but my doctor keeps telling me that they will sort out as I age. I am 22 years old and have been having a period since I was 11, actually, so I kind-of think that they should be better than they are.
I have a period every 13 - 17 days. They are pretty lengthy and very painful. I pass a LOT of blood clots and bleed so heavily that I cannot wear tampons. I've take time off of work before because of how seriously ill I've been. I've passed out a few times at work during my time of the month (or should that be timeS of the month?). I almost always vomit during the daytime while on my period. I run a fever but I am really pale and weak when I'm menstruating. This cannot be normal!
My doctor keeps telling me that I'm young and that my symptoms will clear up as I get older. I don't want them to clear up YEARS from now. I want normal 28-day periods that are moderate flow for the right amount of days...NOW! :(
What can I say to my doctor so that he takes me seriously? I seriously want this to change if at all possible. I seriously want him to understand me and try to help me rather than shrugging me off like a kid. What do I say to him? (link)

Common Sense dictates that you go to another doctor. If a few other doctors say that there is something wrong with you, and he was wrong, surely there is some sort of ombudsman, or service, so that you can report him for mistreating you (google it), and being a negligent doctor. If the few doctors say the same thing as him, maybe it is natural.
Also, herbal remedies can help with problems, just go to a herbologist, or search the net. Hope i helped.

I have had this friend for 17 years. She is a shopaholic. she has also bought me gifts over the years. I recently took 4 peices of costume jewlrey she bought me years ago, and sold tem on ebay. I needed money and I had never worn these peices. Now she has demanded all of the things she bought me back and says that I don't deserve any of it. And has ended our friendship. if she got them for you, and you sold them, i would be slight offended if i were here. Really, she thinks YOU value MONEY over YOUR friendship. It suggests that you find money more valuable, simply because you didnt realise the sentimental value of the gift she got you, because you sold it, and it didnt mean anything to you. I assume that is what she is thinking.

I have these funny stretch marks that appeared as I got older. I've lost and gained some weight here and there and my boobs got pretty big, pretty fast. you can use something called bio-oil. its pricey, but everyone that uses it (that i know) swears by it! you can probabaly get it at your pharmacy, or supermarket in the toiletries section, or you can simply order it online. Just google Bio-Oil :)

Hi, 15, female. So, I have a best friend. He has been that since 3rd grade. Although we don't hang out outside of school I still consider him my best friend because no matter what he is ALWAYS there for me. Everybody at my school says he likes me, they see it in his eyes, that he looks at me so differently from the other girls. They say when we talk he smiles the whole time. I'm not sure if you guys are aware of the rubber bands in the different shapes of animals and such but I texted him one day and told him how cool they were and how much I liked them, that if he asks he can have one and he wasn't in the best mood (fight with his brother) that night so he was being snarky and saying things like "I bet they aren't even that cool" or "I don't want one, don't even show me them" but the next day I showed them to him and he took one. So now we both wear the same animal and everything. His brother said "Aw, so cute, now you have a piece of her everywhere you go". I like to think that is true but his brother just likes making fun of people. I kinda think that he does have more than friends feelings for me but I'm not sure maybe it's just the seven years of friendship. I don't know I just think he's an amazing person. He plays songs on his guitar for me when I'm sad because he knows I like that. He helps me in english and social studies because I'm not to good in those classes. He holds open doors for me and is such a gentleman. He wasn't going to go to a dance at my school but after an a couple of texts I got him to come and he sat at my table. Then afterward I asked if he had fun and he said "Eh, I kinda wish I didn't go" I said "yea me too" and he said "Why's that?" and I told him that I didn't like that he went and most of the time the girl that has the hugest crush on him in my school followed him everywhere and he didn't come over to me. I got so upset but he apologized and then we were cool with each other. Although this girl bothers him he doesn't have the heart to tell her he doesn't feel the same but we talk about it all the time, how much she annoys him and everything. We pretty much tell each other everything. Now, before I asked him who he liked and he told me but he got over her because 1. I didn't like her and 2. He realized she didn't treat him right. So a few days ago, I asked him who he liked and he said "..nobody". Sorry it was long but do you think he does like me and if you think so, why? Thanks!! (link)

But there is something that is reccomended highly: Alli. It says that it can aid weight loss by burning 50% of whatever you lose yourself, or something like that. Whether it works or not, i dont know
