I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I have wanted to avoid this subject. I thought that it had no affect on me.

When I saw the breaking news on the television, that Michael Jackson was in a coma, I said , “Good, I hope he dies.”

Then they reported that he had died.

I said , “Good, another pedophile gone.”

Wow, Sometimes I surprise myself by my heartlessness. I am such a black and white person. You are either right or wrong in my eyes, and if I deem you wrong, then may whomever you believe in have mercy on you because I certainly will not.

I watch American Idol. It’s one of my favorite television shows. Last season when they did the Michael Jackson music tribute, I did not watch. I made a point of not watching. I hated to miss an episode, but still couldn’t believe that they would showcase a “known” pedophiles music.

I have made a point as well, to not listen to his music, since the charges were made.

That was difficult, especially during Halloween. Thriller has always been my favorite. I use to set my computer speakers on the porch and play Thriller over and over again. One year a group of parents all started doing the Thriller dance in front of my house. That was the best Halloween ever!! Can you imagine a group of people some in costume, some not in front of your house doing the Thriller dance? It was great!

But then when all of the allegations hit, then I personally boycotted Michael Jackson, as I have a son and found the whole mess apprehensible.

Since his death I have watched all of the interviews, and specials about Michael Jackson and his life.

It has finally dawned on me, that I don’t know for a fact that he was guilty. I will never know. More than likely no one will read this who KNOWS for a fact if he was guilty.

Of course he was found not guilty by a jury. But we all went through the OJ trial and we know that our system is not foolproof. There again, we Don’t know, but he wrote a book….

I read a lot of Blogs, and comments about Michael Jackson, and it’s such a hot topic. Everyone seems to be locked into their opinion.

I was locked into mine. But in death, it seems as though I am able to give Michael Jackson the benefit of a doubt that I couldn’t give while he was living.

It almost seems as though a family member has died. I did grow up with his music. I never knew how strongly I felt before, and I , myself, find it very odd. The human brain and how it works is itself very odd.

If we could give people the benefit of a doubt in life that we do in death, wouldn’t that be a beautiful thing?

The one and only person I have found that can do this is my Mother. She has such a beautiful soul. She emphasizes the good in everyone. And when she recognizes a persons bad traits, she prays that the good will prevail, and only focuses only on that. I am so lucky to have her as a Mother! Some may think of her as naive, but I truly believe that she is more astute than ALL who judge her !

I have to go to ADSAP classes, for a DUI from 2 years ago. No,sorry to disappoint , I am NOT perfect! There is a woman who goes to the classes I do. She is so honest with herself and all of us, I cringe. There are some secrets that you should take to the grave. However, she does share hers and she said how the memories haunt her at night, when she lays down for sleep. So she takes a sleeping medication.

I also, take a sleeping pill. If not, then every bad decision I have made in my life haunts me at night, and I toss and turn.

I started connecting the dots this morning and thought that Michael Jackson, must have some really bad demons if he had to take a anesthesia to help him sleep.

The reports have been that he was in a lot of pain.

I don’t know, the Pepsi commercial was a long time ago. How much pain could he be in?

Maybe he did do wrong to those children and couldn’t live with himself when it was time to lay down.

Maybe he endured so much wrong that those memories hindered his sleep.

Point is , We don’t know. He lived such a different life than all of us.

I don’t even think that most of us could comprehend what his “normal” was.

He was odd to us.

He was different.

But what did he have to compare his life to?

If he was indeed a pedophile then he is in the dirt where he belongs.

But if he wasn’t, could you imagine living in a WORLD, not just a Nation, where everyone thought that he was?

I have very mixed feelings.

I love the video I have posted. I love the beginning where he’s going through a sea of paparazzi,( I know it was green screened) looking very solemn and beaten, and then performs to an empty theatre. And the title “You are not Alone.”

But he was alone wasn’t he. And I think the video shows this. The irony is mind-blowing.

It shows that irregardless of how much money and fame you have, you are still in this world alone.

A world full of fans loved this man. But at the end of the day, he was still one man, alone.

I think that , as I have said before I give him the benefit of a doubt now.

And I may go so far as to say that I am in mourning.
I suppose my question is :
did anyone else have a change of heart with Michael Jacksons death?

I absolutely more than defended Michael Jackson after he passed. I respect people's opinions about not liking him, but most people were slandering him (even in death, which is absolutely rude in my opinion) and saying things that were not true.

In my opinion, and based on how things went with the whole case and whatnot, I don't think he was guilty. While it was wrong and inappropriate for him to "sleep" with children whom were not his own, nobody knows what really happened. More than half of those children were lying about what happened. It's proven fact. If someone is accusing someone of something, others will jump on the bandwagon because they know if the person is found guilty, they will get money, and that is what those parents told their children to do. They told their children to lie to the judge, and the jury about MJ because they knew if he was found guilty, they would be given lots of money. It's also said that he paid the people off as well. Now, that I can understand. If someone was going around accusing me of something so horrible and it was ruining my good name and my rep, I'd pay them to shut up too. I don't blame him. But, again, whatever happened behind closed doors is nothing we know of. But, I don't think he was guilty.

Everyone is going to have their opinion on Michael Jackson, and that's fine. But to judge a man whom they know nothing about, and to judge him when he has been through so much is cruel. I've been in a position where people have judged me and talked about me before knowing me. I don't know him, so I have no right to judge him and that's that. Besides, what he did within his personal life is just that - personal & none of anyone's business.

I wanna know everyones' opinions on age differences in relationships. Mind you, this is out of total curiosity, as a friend of mine and I were discussing this the other day. So I just want to know what you think, like, how big of a difference is too much, and what not.

It really depends on the situation, the ages, and who you ask.

Everyone can agree that 12 and 19 are big differences (not to mention illegal) but that 60 and 67 are different.

My boyfriend is 25 and I'm 18. I don't think our difference is too big, but other people might disagree with me. And that's fine.

I think as long as the relationship isn't illegal, I don't care how old the people are. :)

Today I bought a couple of shirts at Zumiez. It was sort of like a back to school sale I guess, and I bought 2 shirts for $25. One of the shirts I got, I thought I saw the right size for me, but I guess I didn't grab the right size. Does anyone know if I'll be able to exchange it for a smaller size? The other morning I woke up and the top of my toe itched really bad. So I used the heel of my other foot to scratch it. Now theres a spot on my foot, and it's red around it. It hurts to touch it, and it itches. I asked my mom and she said it could be a spider bite. I really hope not cause I reeeeeeeeeally hate spiders. Anyway have any of you had the same problem? It could definitely be a spider bite. I hate spiders too, but I've had a spider bite before and it was gone within a few days.

Just get some Cortizone 10 cream to take the itch away. It'll be gone soon, no worries. :)

Is it really that important to live near family?

1. Wherever we move, we will set up a business, therefore it will not be an option to "pick up and move if we don't like it."

2. We are in love with an area where we have no family, and ideally would like to move there.

3. Would like to have kids in the next few years and ideally want family around us.

4. So which is it? Live in an area you love, or live near family?

The decision has damn near become unbearable.

I would live near family. Who says you can't learn to love the area near family?

I think if you want kids, you should stay near family. They deserve an upbringing around cousins and it's good for them to have a closeness or a bond.

I know living near my family made all the difference growing up. I don't live near them anymore (I'm 2000 miles away) but I wish everyday that I was.

I am moving house and I need ideas for decorating my new bedroom!

I am open to suggestions. I have nooo idea about what colours etc to do, the only thing I know is that I'm having a double bed, big wardrobe, timber floors and I am getting a big photo frame to hang on my wall with black and white photos of my family, friends and boyfriend.

You really need to look at a color pallet. What's your favorite color?

If you like blue or red, I'd do something with those colors. You can stripe your wall. If you like the idea of doing blue, you can take a plastic bag and wrap it around your hand and dip it in the paint & press it against the wall. It gives the wall a sky looking effect. My parents did this in our living room at my old house & it was really pretty. :)

Well they're not my neighbours, they're my neighbour's neighbour; the house beside our neighbour.

They are SO loud and I'm trying to sleep but I can hear yelling (and they're family is just a normal family and the oldest kids are in high school) and it's driving me nuts! it's summer and I love the earth so I'm using my window but it’s SO loud. And when I shut it I can still hear them, which doesn’t help because it's suffocating in my room if the window isn't open.

They have loud music BLARING, it's almost 12 right now and I should have been asleep a long time ago but I can’t sleep and frankly, I'm getting bags under my eyes. My sister and I just have the urge to scream "SHUT UP!" out the window and duck but we'd be sinking to their level and disrupting the rest of their neighbourhood.

I understand exactly what you're going through. When I was living in NY, the girl who lived above us in our building was loud as fuck. She always argued with her boyfriend (and her room was right above mine). She always had parties, and she walked like a fucking elephant. Seriously she was so loud. There were honestly a ton of times where she had actually woken me with her arguing or her walking.

I never talked to her about it, but it really did piss me off. I used to yell to my ceiling and cuss and I would even bitch to my mom about it. My whole family hated her bullshit. But we never did anything about it. There were a ton of times where I considered calling the office and having her evicted, but I'm not that huge of a bitch.

Anyways, if you're considering going to their house and yelling at them, good luck. Lots of people are really very ignorant & will argue that since they own the house they can do as they please. If I were you, I'd honestly just call the cops on them. :) Cops are sure to shut down the party, and maybe it'll teach them a lesson. If you end up calling the cops & they keep on with what they're doing, keep calling the cops. Maybe they can eventually get fined or something. :)
