I'm going to point pleasant at the jersey shore today and I want to know some fun things to do besides go to the boardwalk and beach. I go there all the time since I live in new jersey but I never find anything fun to do except eat, go to the boardwalk, and go to the beach. If it helps i'm 13 and a girl, and i'm not allowed to go places by myself down the shore cause i'm "not old enough".

a long time ago, i think i read some sort of health article that said that when people work out their abdominal area, it stunts your growth. does anyone know that for sure? i've stopped working out my stomach because i'm already fairly short but i wanted to be sure.

No. That is definitely not true. If it was, I wouldn't see tall women/men with sculpted 6 packs. Don't stop working out your stomach. Stay healthy and active.

I`m going to be asking this guy that I like out tomorrow or sometime soon, whenever I see him next. I want to look cute / sweet / pretty, you get what i mean. You should follow a 'summer' theme for the clothing that you plan to wear.

Halter // Bermudas // Cute flipflops

Short sleeve summer themed shirt [cherries, beach, strawberries] // Denim Shorts // Flipflops

Just mix and match your clothing, and pair them with a fake pearl necklace, and/or big sunglasses. Remember to be yourself around him! If you're going swimming, or to the beach, wear your top underneath your shirt so it will portray a 'summer' type of look, and that will look cute.

Hi, i have alot of mental health problems which cause me to have high anxiety and panic, which often lead to panic attacks over things that never used to bother me.
Tomorrow i have a 2 and a half hour car journey, i'm getting better at travelling although i still get really panicy which makes me feel sik (can't say THAT word...it;'s my fear of that that has led to alot of my mental and physical illness).
I'm getting proffessional help with it so thats ok, i was just wondering if i get really bad and i watch a dvd (i'm sitting in the front passanger side if that helps), will that make me travel sik?
i know some people cant read magazines in the car, are those people also not able to watch dvd and stuff either because it brings on the travel sikness or is that ok?
I just ask because when i have high panic i have to watch a dvd and i eventually calm down because it's a great distraction, but if i do that when travelling would it make me feel worse?

You can try what the person below me said. Try taking some Motrin or Tylenol with you to help reduce the chances of you getting car sick.

It's called a BMI calculator, or Body Mass Index, just put in your weight and height, like you said, and then it will tell you your percentile and if you are in the underweight, healthy, or overweight category.

Well I've been looking around eBay for a specific item that I'd like and it's the second season of Dawson's Creek. But it seems to be a weird version that's from the United Kingdom, so I'm a little paranoid to bid on it.

This isn't you were looking for, but I think you were searching under the wrong thing.

Go to eBay.com and type in 'Dawson's Creek'. Scroll down just a little until you find 'Dawson's Creek - The Complete Second Season' or something along those lines. That ones like, 16 bucks with $5 S & H. If you scroll down just a little bit more, then there should be another one, but for 13 bucks.

well, i registered as a user to a penpal website, where you can meet people from other countries. it has been great so far! i have more penpals than i wanted, all from different places. i just started worrying today about one of my penpals... his name is emmanuel, and he is from ghana, africa. i have been talking to him over email for maybe 2-3 weeks. i sent him some pictures of america, like places i've visited and sometimes pictures of me and my friends. i do that with my other penpals and they usually send some pictures themselves.

anyway, the most recent email he sent me (today) asked about a lot of personal information -- like what school i go to, he asked for a picture of my family, what my friends name is, he told me that he desperately wants me to visit him, and he even asked for my postal address. doesn't that sound a little fishy? i mean, i've asked some things about ghana and his culture, but not things like that. he told me in scattered emails that not many people in ghana speak english or even go to school, and i noticed that his english was rather good. i didn't ask him where he learned it from, assuming his mom/dad taught him.

then today, for the heck of it, i typed his full name in on the internet and a few links came up. i went to this one site and it said that he was a 23 year old that stole 2-point-something million cedis (african $) in rice and in 1997. it also said that he was in prison for 3 years. i started worrying over this because of past experiences with meeting people over the internet.

im not sure if i should email him anymore. what should i say to him if i do? what if his name is common in africa, like smith is a common last name in america?

i havent responded to that email he sent me regarding those questions. what should i do?

You should not respond to his emails. Delete him from your penpal list, whatever you need to do to lose contact with him. He sounds creepy and stalkerish. The best thing that you can do is not take any chances. Save yourself, and don't give him any of your personal information.

Ok. For around two weeks EVERY night I've been having bad dreams. And it sucks.
It'll either be a new dream, a dream I've had before, or a combination of a couple dreams.
I've had this one for 3 nights in a row, seriously. I walk into a room, and look in this mirror. And there is this half-dead ten-ish year old girl with a bloody KNIFE standing behind me. But when I look behind me she's not there, she's only in the mirror. Then there is this other one where I get put into a coffin and I'm buried alive.

So...
Would there be a reason that this is happening ??
What can I do ? I HATE it....

Well, first off, don't watch scary movies for awhile. I always get nightmares because of them. xD. Try taking a bath and calming yourself before you go to bed. Turn on a light in your closet, in the hall, or a lamp and put it on the floor, so you're not in complete darkness.

What would you do to feel better about your body?

Well, first off, cut off junk food. That doesn't mean that you can't have a brownie or a cheeseburger ever again, but you can have them occasionally. Eat healthy. Eat fruits, vegetables, drink water, ect. Also, exercise. Try some crunches, sit ups, pushups, and stretching at home. You can get once of those big balls that kids play with at Walmart for only 3 bucks. Lean against it, and slightly sit on it, and start doing crunches and sit ups. After you stick to your routine, then you should feel healthy and more active. :]]

hey..i just bought a digital camera, the first two times i plugged it into the computer, the files with pictures came right up. but now everytime i plug the digital camera to my computer, the files are not coming up & i cant view my pictures. how do i view my pictures? is my digital camera not working? thank you

Make sure that it is plugged in all the way.

Then, go to My Computer // && Look for your camera in the icons listed. This is only possible if your USB is plugged in, so if you try to search for it without plugging it in, obviously, you're not gonna find it.

If that doesn't help, try searching in the Owner's Manual, or the camera's website [IE; Sony, Kodak, Casio, ect.]

I want to save myself for my wedding night. Is this generaly considered weird? At school people think its really strange and generally make fun of me for it if it comes up in conversation at all. I mean, its not something I go aorund shouting, but if someone asks what I think about sex before marriage because I'm a Christian, I will tell the truth. My friends were amazed that I went out with a guy I was completely in love with for 9 months and didnt have sex with him.
Is it that strange? And is it possible to save yourself for marriage? I've heard that it gets harder to wait as you get older, and it wasn't easy in my last relationship.

I don't think it's strange.

You're the only one that can decide when you want to have your first time. Nobody can change that. If people make fun of you and laugh at you, laugh with them. You want to save your first time when you're ready, not when everyone else wants you to. If you go out with a guy and he pressures you into it, then dump him. If he can't understand that, then he's not right for you.

sometimes, my armpits sweat for no apparent reason. I dont even have to run around..and they start to sweat...it leaves these horrible sweat marks underneath my armpits and i dont even want to raise my aroms up...does any one have any ideas on how to stop this??? There are two things that you can do..

1] Change your deodorent. Make sure that the one that you get is an anti-perspirant deodorent. Maybe the one that you are using isn't that effective.

If THAT doesn't help, your sweat glands might be producing too much sweat. It could be some kind of hormonal inbalance.

2] If you go to the doctor, they can remove some of your sweat glands in your armpits.

Why is it always me that ends up with the no girlfriend at the end of the year I am 14/m and I am in a wheelchair and not sure if that is the problem or what but it has always seemed I end up not with the girlfriend and don't get me wrong I have had them but the last one I had was going on for 6 monthes but she just left me for one of my best friends and it was like a shocker to me and I just went into a deep depression

Hun, you're only 14. You have a lot of itme ahead of you. If girls don't want to go out with you because of a wheelchair, then they are very superficial and shallow. When I was your age, I went out with a guy named Andrew in a wheelchair for awhile. Some people can be that way. You'll find someone, but at this age, don't even worry about it.

What does it mean when someone is hacking into your computer? What do they do? (not that i have any ideas...) :)

A hacker is someone who 'breaks' into computers and takes credit card info., personal passwords, ect. Much like a robber robbing a bank, they take everything valuable inside of the vault.
