I have a 17yr old brother and we are relly close we talk about anything im 15yr old girl and lately hes been acting a bit strange havent seen a lot of him and the other we started talking and he told me that he is gay he's been with a guy for a few months and he was worried about what i thought about it i was a little surprised but i said it didnt matter if your gay your gay i told him id support him hes a bit worried about telling people about it especially our parents
but i said he should come out and he shouldnt be worried about what other people think shouldnt he do so?

Its great how close you are with your brother. He clearly confides in you, and thats why he told you what seems to be his biggest secret. Keep supporting him, your doing a great job. :-) Encourage him to tell your parents, let him know that you will always accept him as he is and support him no matter what. I imagine your parents will support him as well. Remember to encourage him, dont force him :-) he will come out when he feels comfortable, now that he sees that you are accepting, it will be alot easier for him to tell your parents, but not that easy! Give it some time, everything will work out.

if you really hate cleaning your room like i do whats the fastest and more fun way to do it?

Okay I hate cleaning my room so I can completely relate and answer this question! :-)

my methods are simple:

play some music, give yourself something to look forward to while you are cleaning it. For instance, shut the tv off and dont allow yourself to go onto the computer until you are done cleaning your room, trust me it works you just have to stick to your rules. Also, do the simple things first. Like I usually have a bunch of pillows scattered around my room (I love pillows haha) so I take them all and just neatly and quickly put them on my bed, it clears up the room so much. If you have dirty cloths on the ground, put them in the laundry room quickly, that clears the room too. also, if you have any rappers or drinks or dirty dishes from eating in your room in your room, put those away first and clean them up. Then focus on if you have any jewlery or anything else out that you can put away.

ok im a 16 and femaile...my bf is 15... im about a week and a half late for my period....we have been having unprotected sex but we didnt do it half as much as we usually do but im late and iv had stomach issues lately but i donno im freaking out could i be pregnant or is it my stomach problems screwing with it? im never 100% regular. i know the stomach issues arent caused by pregnancxy...iv had them for a couple months... i was tested last month and it came back negative but is it possible that this month i got knocked up? please help i dont really know what to do and dont have anyone here to talk to.... thanks..

Hi I am 18 and really hate my freckles I don't have alot of them but they still bug me I want to know natural ways to get rid of them I do not want to go out and buy something so please someone help me.

Well I dont have freckles, but my friend has so many and they are very obvious, so I know how she helps conceal them. I know that she takes lemon juice (as wierd as it sounds) and applies it to her face where the freckles are for about 20 minutes everyday or every other day. Also there are some simple home creams that you can make from vegetables and various fruits that can get rid of them, my friend used a little bit of lemon juice, some lime juice, chopped up avocados, and some cut up papaya all mashed together and applies it to their face.
Stay out of the sun, if you do go in the sun, try to cover them with hats or sunglasses (depending on where the freckles are.) Sunblock will help the freckles not tan in the sun. Also, I know you said you didnt want to buy anything, but there is this almay tlc truly lasting color (16 hour makeup) with skin nurishing long wear and spf 15 that I use that is absolutely amazing. Its a liquid cover up that is in a glass bottle, it lasts all day and wont rub off and I completely approve. Its not expensive either, less than 10 dollars (US) at target. Just an optional thing if you want :-) I use mine all the time, and it works for pimples and other non flattering features such as bags under your eyes.

Hey, im a 15 year old girl, and i made a mistake. I have been dating my boyfriend for 2 years. I finally agreed to have sex with him. I got my period august 19th, and stopped bleeding on the 26th. On the 27th, i had sex with him. We used a condom, and i dont think it broke, but it is possible, and i know its really early, but ive felt weird. okay first off if you are pregnant, you can in fact get an abortion without parental permission. Its your body, and your baby, you have the choice whether or not you want to have it, if your parents say no to abortion, that wont disable you from getting one.

yes it is possible that you are pregnant.

Its normal to be a little afraid and nervous just because you dont know how they are going to react. You have nothing to worry about, being in love is beautiful no matter what sex is in love with what sex. Your parents will support you either way, it might take some time getting used to though :-). but thats normal too. Dont worry about it, the sooner you get it off of your chest the better it will feel, and you will realize you were nervous for nothing.

I know people that have gotten it on the inside of their mouth, like in the folds of their lips. Or behind their hair on their neck, or huge in the middle of their back. What about the ankle? Hey im 14 my bfs 16.

Its natural to feel that way, its hard to accept cheating, hes your man, not the girls that cheated with him. Did you ever fully talk about the situation? Meaning did you ever fully express all of your feelings toward him? Often times when we have alot of repressed feelings inside us, its because we never let them out. You should talk to him about how you feel, explain to him everything you told me. Your not going to get over this right away, which is okay. Just think, you could have easily left him, but you didnt; is there a reasoning behind that? Maybe because you two still really like each other. I know you wish this didnt happen, he does too, but it did, and he made a HUGE mistake. But everyone gets second chances I believe, and this is his. He should start counting his lucky stars because your one of them, hes lucky to have such a forgiving girlfriend. From what you said, it seems like hes seriously focused on you and only you, especially because he doesnt even talk to girls anymore.

On the contrary, that could also be the reason why you are so filled with emotions. Just because hes acting better to you, doesnt mean the situation is the same, its completely different. How do you feel about the fact that he doesn't go over his friends houses anymore? Or the fact that he doesnt talk to girls? It sounds to me like maybe you just want everything to be the way it is again, just without the cheating. Talk to your boyfriend, and ask him if he is okay with not going over his friends house. If he can control himself, then let him go. This is where trust comes in, you need to trust him that he will be faithful. I know you are thinking you already trusted him, but this is his second chance remember? And if you two are deciding to continue this relationship, then he has to have friends to, so be it if they are girls and guys, thats just life. As long as you trust him it will be okay for you. I think you might find that you will feel so much better once everything is back to the status quo.

16.F / Junior in high school

I think that I unfairly judge others based on their GPA / class levels in high school. I'm a very competitive student in all honors and AP classes and I think, unintentionally, I base people's intelligence based on what classes they are taking (e.g., if another student is taking B-level classes, I assume they are lazy and that he or she doesn't care about school, college, or career success, or I greatly respect students taking many honors / AP classes). How do I STOP judging people based on their GPA / class levels and realize that not all students in honors / AP classes are necessarily intelligent and that not all B-level students don't care about getting into a top university?

Im in one honors class, one A class, and all B classes. Actually, Im in integrated math because Im not good at math. I have to say honestly, I have met people that judge me (like you) and I have no respect for them, they only bring me down in life. One time my friend told me I wasnt smart, and I went home and cried my eyes out. You might not be verbal about your feelings, but the person you are negative towards can tell still, trust me.

You need to accept people for the way they are, act as if you have no idea what level class they are in. I for one think I am very intelegent, scratch that, I AM intelegent. Just for the record. I still get A's in B classes, and Im perfectly fine with that. You should be too. :-)

Is Suzanne Collins successful with making comments about our society and our appetite for media coverage in "The Hunger Games"? Please explain, and give me atleast 3 good reasons why or why not. I read the book, its for summer reading, and its a really good book IMO, but I really have no idea how to answer that question. I didn't notice the underlying themes in the book with relation to the question.

Please give examples (quotes, paragraphs, page numbers, and/or etc) from the book that like support what you say. I know that some people hate when people ask homework questions, but I really did think about it for almost a week now and I'm getting nervous cause school is starting soon, and I can't think of anything! And I really like never do this. You don't have to write too much if you want, like general stuff basically. but if you have a great answer, expect a 5 coming your way! (:

Also, we have to make connections w/ this book to other texts and the media. I'm guessing that this book would be similar to the book called Animal Farm, and the shows on tv like Lost & Survivor. The bad thing is that I haven't read that book or read those kind of shows.. so I don't know how to really make a connection. please help me with that! Maybe if you help me with the other things I mentioned, this 'connection' part will be easier for me to put together. maybe i can relate it to like tabloids, the news, or reality shows.. but i just need the base question answered first to be able to start putting things together.

It isnt right that you are asking for straight up questions. You have thought about this for a week but you havent even attempted to answer your own homework for yourself? Now I would so tell Jeff but I promised my best friend I wouldn't tell Lisa or Jeff because she was ease dropping on their conversation. Now Lisa told my best friend about the whole her and Jeff liking each other exactly two weeks ago. So that was a week before Jeff and me started going together again. Lisa and me stopped talking completely about a week ago, which was a day after I told Jeff that I thought he and Lisa liked each other. I'm guessing that he told her and that's why she thinks I have a problem with her. Honestly I do so I could careless about how she feels. They are called active health, its a white fat bottle that says Active Health on the front, and underneath it has a rainbow line underlining the title. They can be purchased in any food store.

Background info. Me &nd my boyfriend Jeff* have known each other since we were 5, we're 16 now. He has always had a crush on me for as long as I can remember lol but I just started liking him my sophomore year, we're juniors now.
Okay now to the story. Well me and Jeff just started going together again on wednesday. We were together for eight months until we broke up for a month. But that's not the problem because I want to make it work this time. I love him and he loves me so nothing or nobody is going to stand in the way of that. So now comes the part where I talk about his best friend, she's a girl *sigh* lol. Right before Jeff and me first started going together he told me he liked Lisa* (his best friend) but I didn't care because I liked and wanted him. Rewind to a few months ago before our break up I started getting the feeling he still liked her but I didn't say anything. After our break up I still thought he liked Lisa and she actually told my best friend that she liked Jeff and that he liked her too. Now Lisa and me we're friend but we aren't anymore. I didn't like that she was smiling in my face while she wanted my ex boyfriend. I asked Jeff if he liked her he said they were just friend. I told him I didn't believe him but whatever. Then we started going together again. Jeff and Lisa ride the same bus and they sit together *shocker*, my best friend over heard Jeff basically complaining to Lisa that they don't spend much time together and etc. Then Lisa says well you spend most of your free time with Keri (that's me), and he says "No I don't". Then Lisa says "I can already tell Keri has a problem with me". Ugh that bitch, I just want to punch her in her face. What should I do? I've tried holding my tongue by discontinuing to talk to her, but I feel myself about to snap. I don't want to run to Jeff telling him about Lisa because I've never done that and I don't want to. Sorry its so long.

Now to the advice :-):

I know you dont want Jeff and Lisa to be best friends, but unfortunately thats what they are. Its okay if they are friends, but thats it. Trust until he cant be trusted, meaning trust him until he gets caught cheating or doing something completely out of line. Also, as for the talking about you behind your back, that is completely unacceptable. Never should a boyfriend EVER listen to even their closest friend, rag on their girlfriend, without standing up for them. Part of relationships working out means open communication, if he is talking about you behind your back and not to your face...well, you guessed it-not open communication. You would not be the bitchy girlfriend for talking to him about this, you have a right to.
I will say there is a right way and a wrong way to do this though. The wrong way would to straight up start a texting/convo/aim/whatever fight with him, and accuse him. To start, (the right way,) stay calm. Ask him to talk to you, and when you do talk, go somewhere privately. Tell him what you heard, and see what he says. If he says he didnt, then re-evaluate who you are finding out information from, or evaluate whether or not he is lying to you. Second of all, you need to express to him that you want to make it work, and you need to know if he wants it to work too. There has to be OPEN communication, whenever there is a conflict or even if you are just slightly bothered for some reason, you both need to talk to each other about it. how are you supposed to get rid of zits before they come up? I can feel one in my chin and it really hurts but you can't see it yet...is there any way I can get rid of it soon? I don't want a big zit on my chin the first day of school (in two days!)

I use this clean and clear advantage product, it actually is for that purpose, when you feel a zit or pimple coming on you just use it. Its a liquid pen type thing, Theres a picture below to help you :-)
