Or behind their hair on their neck, or huge in the middle of their back. What about the ankle? Or on the top of your foot? Those are some cute places :-) I have also seen someone have a tatoo of their fiances name on the inside of their ring finger.

Sorry, but two years isn't that long of a time for something that's gonna be on your body the rest of your life. Do you really think you're gonna marry this guy? Have you talked about it? What are you planning to do about your tattoo if things don't work out? These are all things you need to think about.
You need to really think about this before you do it. Chances are you're not gonna be with this guy the rest of your life- even if you were married, I still wouldn't recommend it since 50% of marriages end in divorce. Think of one of your exes, would you want his name on you for the rest of your life? Wait a while, at least 6 months-a year, there's no hurry.

Maybe try to think of symbols for each other or something that's less obvious and less embarrassing if/when it doesn't work out. Even if you were married, I wouldn't suggest it. I always thought name tattoos are best saved for if you have kids or in memorial of a loved one that's passed. that's about it.
sia answered Friday September 4 2009, 4:54 am: you could get it on your ankle? or on the top of your arm or shoulder depends how youll do it..make it into a design not just a plane old name lol [ sia's advice column | Ask sia A Question ]
christina answered Friday September 4 2009, 2:30 am: Not to rain on your parade, but getting someone's name tattooed on you usually isn't a good idea (unless it's a parent, sibling, fallen friend, or your child). Your side profile says you're 17, but I'll assume you're 18 since you said you already have 2 tattoos.
Now, most relationships don't last at 18 years old. Tattoos last forever, and if you get the tattoo but the relationship ends, then what? You'll have that person's name on you forever with no cheap way to get rid of it. I really don't advise that you get each other's names tattooed on each other. It's a cute idea, but a bad one as well. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
