ok tomorro night my dad and i are going out for a steak dinner and maybe some shopping. My friend tutored me for free a few times, which was really nice of her. My mom suggested me taking her tomorro.. my dad said he didnt mind even though he did mention he'd rather it be just the two of us. What should i choose to do?

Hey hunny,

I think you should go alone with just your dad. Family is Family, and it's not very often that we teenage girls get to bond with one of our parents because we always hang out with our friends 90 percent of the time. So I say go with your dad and have fun. Then plan something with your friend the next day or during that week. :)

Hey hun,

I think you should start practicing by running or jogging. If you run, your ankles will become stronger to handle more running time ;). That will get your muscles built up. You can also use a treadmill that way you can control your speed. Make sure you stretch before you run, its not good if you don't because you can really pull a muscle and hurt yourself.

You could also start going to the gym. The way I keep shape now in my legs is to stretch every orning and night because I don't dance or cheerlead for right now. Stretching makes you limber and stronger :)

Don't even BOTHER liking this guy. They may say they are sorry and trash, but they NEVER change. They hit you once, they WILL do it again. Why should you like a guy that abuses you?? You could have so much better... :)

Im 15 and have been best friends with a girl in my school, we wnt on holiday together, played netball together, got drunk together for about 3 yrs. Now she starts hangin round with this girl i kinda like but not particularly, somedays she cool and hangs wit me but otha days she goes off with this other girl and just leaves me. I told her i thought she was being unreasonable and things worked out for a while. Now though its all starting again and as its school holidays i never hear from my friend cos shes always with this new freind. It was her birthday (my friend) 3 days ago, i txt her and asked if she was doing anythin for it and she sed she was havin a party, not invitin me, just telling me. So i txt her and sed thanx 4 the invite, she sed wel u r invited. Jus 2 anoy her i said well i cant go anyway and she starts goin on about how i would have made all these xcuses anyway bcos her new freind will b there and i cant handle them two being friends, she ended her text with see you around. I have done so much for her in the past and now she just throws it back in my face. Do you think i should just leave her completely and never tlk again or jus try and b freinds with her, even though she likes her new freind better?

Aw, don't feel bad about anything. You absolutely did nothing wrong. If she thinks she needs her new freind more than you, let her have it that way. She'll come around and text you or call you. Just play along with it. Say "yeah, I've been pretty busy lately", Just still be nice to her. When you see her in the halls when break is over, smile or say hi. Just don't be over friendly. Soon she will realize what a great guy you were and how you were always there for her and how she just threw it away and will want to hang out with you again, and how she made such a stupid mistake...She'll come back for you...I promise :)

I have a dog right now who is 7 years old - in human years. My brother and I really want another dog - a puppy- probably the same kind as the 1 I have now. But I just can't convince my parents!! Any ideas???!!

Hey!!

I had to beg for my Kermy dog. Because my other one died. So, I told my parents, "I took care of my last dog...why can't you let me have another puppy...I swear I'll take care of it!" You can also show them that you are responsible, by doing things when they ask you to do it without an attitude (hard one with me :))and showing that you are responsible..taking out the trash, doing the dishes, taking care of the dog you have now more than ever... etc. It works and over time they will realize that you are very responsible :)

I was cleaning out my closet that I havn't cleaned for like a year and a half and I found the $125 gold necklace that my ex-boyfriend gave me last year. I remember throwing it in the closet when i broke up with him-----but now I found it. I don't have any jewelery that fine and I was thinking about wearing the necklace. Who's gonna know? My ex lives in N.Y.C. anyway and i'm like 2 hours north of the city, so I wont see him. Do you think its ok to wear it???

Yea, wear it! Who's gonna know?? My ex-bf tried to win me back with buying me this really pretty braclet, we're friends, but I still wear it. Its different if you want to wear it to remember him. If you miss him and you take a glance of that necklace, you might feel sad...Well I think you should wear it :)

Hey, I have braces. Any color can go great with them. I like to match mine depending on what occasion it is. Like, christmas, the seasons. Choose wisely ;) And don't get white or clear, they stain your teeth. Don't even know why they make that color... :)

Thats soo sweet, you wanna send her flowers. I would feel so much better if that happened to me when I got dumped. I would wait a little while though. She may not be over it. I don't know about her ex...he's your friend. He may still like her. I would still send the flowers. Take things slow, though. Gradually start to hang out more, and then drop hints :)

First base is usually, kissing, making out. Second base is usually going under neath the clothes and touching. Third: Flat out oral sex.

If you don't like your ex bf, don't feel bad. He understands you, that you don't like him anymore. Don't act any different before he told you he liked you, if you guys hung out together. Just be his friend. He'll apprieciate that so much more, than if you acted a little different because you knew he liked you. Be yourself :)

There's this guy at my school, he's smart, funny, good looking, and mature. His friend told my friend that he liked me and I'm pretty sure he does since he treats me special and flirts with me a lot. If you like him, give him a chance. I like surfer guys, yet I still go out with other "types" it should be all about personality. You should flirt, to only him, back to show him that you only have eyes for him. You could wait til high school, It might be more easier to go out with someone that (probably) goes to a different school. That way, if you guys do break-up you won't see eachother walking in the halls, etc. Plus when you see each other you will enjoy it more than seeing him more often. You guys I think should start going out this summer.

"hitting up on me" usually means "hitting on me" like a guy flirting tremendously, showing that he likes you. A older guy hit on me in Wal-mart once...lol..i was like "noooooo..." lol...Well he could be joking around.

Dear confused and lonely :), I feel the same way as you. For me, it was a guy, family problems, and friends, and being insecure about myself. I really can't talk to anyone about my problems or I'll break out crying. And last night I just had to let it all out. I took my journal and just wrote what I felt inside and cried and cried, and cried myself to sleep. Sometimes thats all you need. Even though I'm still not okay, I feel A LOT better. I also pray to god, I pray "God, please, why does my soul ache?, Make it go away...please..." It really works. Sometimes we need to feel pain, in order to grow and go on with our life, and learn. You just have to be nice to her. Show her the example. Be so nice to her that it kills her. She may not be interested in you, but you have to keep trying. She'll realize that you really want to get to know her eventually.

I remember the question you asked. I still think you need to talk to him no matter how nervous you are. I know how you feel because all of my friends told me to call my ex to REALLY find out why he dumped me. My friend had to dial the number for me because I couldn't do it...Maybe you should have a friend click the send button on the e-mail so once its sent its sent.
And I doubt he's mad at you but the only way to find out why is if YOU ask him.
