Q: I'm almost 19 and about to lose my virginity to my boyfriend. The thing is, I'm someone who always thinks of the worst that can happen in every situation I am. In this case, my hugest fear is getting pregnant. I've been on birth control for a year and plan to use that AND a condom for protection. But for some reason, I'm still worried. It's not that I'm not ready. Unlike most people, I'm educated, cautious, and responsible. But how can I quit worrying about the things that don't need to be? (This goes along with other situations besides this one.) Thank you.

Don't listen to the other person. "If you're nervous, you're not ready" is the biggest piece of bullshit anyone has ever said. Having sex for the first time is HUGE. If you're not nervous, it doesn't mean anything to you, and if it doesn't mean anything to you, than you shouldn't do it. You should be nervous about your first time.

But this is your boyfriend, you must care about him a lot, and you're nervous. You've taken every possible precaution, ie, having the safest sex possible. The other person who responded is square-dancing on the far right with Ann Coulter and a bible in their hand. They're right about always having a chance to get pregnant, but if you've been on birth control for a year and he's using a condom it is improbable.

As in all things, if you're prepared and care about what you're doing, things will be fine. Perhaps euphoric. I've always thought nervousness (to a certain extent) is a good thing, because it keeps you on your toes. Try being concerned about what could go wrong in the worst possible scenario, but don't worry or fret about it.

Actually, Peroxide tends to be bad for skin in any high intensity/volume levels. It'd probably scar. Smother it in neosporin and leave it open.

Q: I am finnaly getting a cell phone!! but.. it is my Mom's old one :( but y'know it is something. Ask your friends if they have the same service provider, ie, Cingular, Verizon etc. If most of them do you get free mobile to mobile, free weekends and free minutes in the evening. Honestly, it's hard to burn 100 minutes after school on weekdays when you'll probably be able to use the home phone.

Q: Everyone says American Eagle is the best store, but personally I hate it. All of their t-shirts are basically the same things with different words and colors. A lot of their clothes are really bad quality. I bought a cami from there once and I only wore it once and a HUGE hole ripped and I wasn't even running around or anything. It may be a little cheaper then Abercrombie & Fitch or Hollister, but atleast if you buy something from A&F or Hollister, you know the clothes are going to last. American Eagle's clothes arn't the most attractive things, and they look cheap. What do you think about AE?

Jeans and shorts from American Eagle rein supreme from a high mountain top, and laugh at the peasants that are Hollister, Aeropostle, and Abercrombie and Fitch. Personally, I've found that target has better shirts for guys than any of those stores, really.

Q: So there's this guy i like and he is my neighbor. i am 13/f and he is 14/m. i am best friends with his little sister and she says he really likes me and want to ask me out. he TOLD me he liked me after he broke up with my best friend Sarah* and i told him that i liked him too but we could go out bc it might hurt sarahs feelings. its not about the likeing part i KNOW he does, he always flirts and comes over and stuff so thats not a problem. Check your window at night a for a few weeks. if you see him staring right back at you, he might be a stalker freak.

Here's the thing: If you feel like you know the guy well, and you know he isn't a stalker freak, date him for a little while (That's not a relationship). Go out on a few dates, and see how it works, etc. If friends give you a hard time, tell them to shove it where it hurts. If it doesn't go well, tell him you had a nice time on the dates but you don't want a relationship with him.

If you're in a piano class together, that's the first common ground right there. Start with some small talk, but find out what else she's interested in. Find other things you have in common, talk about that, ask her about her pets if she has them. Build it up to the point where she starts to enjoy talking to you. If this is a thing where you eventually want to be more than friends, ask her out to lunch or a cup of coffee one day.

By the way, girls who play piano generally rock.

Q: As females we just guess what guys want in a girlfriend. I know that I probably am not even close to knowing what a guy wants. My question is what do guys generally look for in a girl?

Guys want a girl who cares. Someone who wants to be with them, and support them because they actually care about what their doing in their life, and are interested in their thoughts and what they believe, even if their beliefs conflict. Someone who they feel the same way about, and love spending time with. Someone who laughs at their good jokes, tells good jokes, and then they call eachother out for all the shitty ones.

So, the football playing rap loving jock who wants to bang hoes looks for a hoe who likes rap and wants to get banged, and the theater kid who is addicted to Starbucks, Jim Croce and Stephen King looks for an artistic girl who digs coffee, real music and books.

Something along those lines is what I've always believed.

Every guy has differences when it comes to physical attributes, except for the fact that boobs don't matter anywhere near as much as girls are led to believe. In my experience that's proven to be true. Hope I helped and didn't end up sounding like I was trying to be profound.

You and your girlfriend are playing a sport (how about soccer) and she's pretty good at it. Do you like a girl who gives it her all and plays like she's one of the boys--even if she beats you? Like if you don't know how good she is until you're playing with her, would you want her to hold back just a little so you both will have more fun and it would be more.. flirty, I guess? Because wouldn't you feel stupid if she was more manly at a sport than you are? And if she played as best as she could and beat you, wouldn't the relationship be more competitive then romantic?

I agree that she shouldn't kick your ass, if she is capable, because you'd both be aware of that and there wouldn't be any need to prove it. I mean, if you guys go out there and are competing, it's one thing, but if you're just kicking around she is being a little bitchy if she just keeps owning you.

Mine goes a little to the left, a long ways out. It's natural. I've heard that only 1/100 penises are perfectly straight, and that they're usually quite short. Be happy with the curve.

Q: ok all of my friends are having sex (and there all around 15 and 16, and i am 15.) And I don't feel like people our age are ready to have sex yet...but all of my friends are telling me how much fun it is, and they kept telling me how i need to lose it. I kept telling them that i'm not ready, but they keep pressuring me to have it. How can I get it throgh there head that i'm not ready and I don't want to lose it untill i'm ready?

If they can't accept you for who you and what you're personal moral convictions are, then maybe it's time to find new friends.

Go for Call of Duty 2. I've heard some dodgy things about Prey, but CoD is all-around the best shooter out right now.

Look into getting Oblivion, too, if you're into such games.

Q: I'm going to be a freshman in high school, but I'm really shy. I have 2 best friends that I can be my complete self around and tell anything to, but in high school, we're probably not going to see each other as much.. Plus one of these two friends I have is mad at the other claiming that she hates hanging out with her and always feels like she's the one left out.. But that's a whole different story. I feel like high school is going to change our friendship and kind of like deteriorate it. I have a few other friends too but it's not the same as with my other two friends.. So next year, how can I overcome my shyness and make new friends? Don't tell me to just be myself or anything because that's so hard to just NOT be shy. Around people I just meet I hardly talk and when I do it's only a few words, so they get the wrong impression. But with my good friends and family, I'm loud, funny.. like a whole different person. Extracurriculars.

If you get involved in clubs, sports or Theater at your school you will instantly meet new people, and have a naturally easy way to communicate with these people daily. Especially in sports and theater. If you don't communicate, you lose/look like an idiot. That being said, you meet so many incredible people, and it's well worth the time spent after school. So, in conclusion, participating in after school clubs/activities will help you overcome shyness. That is all.

You're a good person. That's the difference between you and a lot of other people at your school. It's not prude to look for a real relationship, where people actually are emtionally attached instead of just screwing eachother.

It's sort of from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In said film, King Arthur approaches a castle, looking for the Grail. It happens to be controlled by the French, who throw him a number of insults, including "I fart in your general direction," basically meaning, "I fart towards you/ on you"

I laugh in your general direction is a variation of this.

Q: My dad is watching porn right now. He does every night because we have lots of channels and at night theres porn. I know for SURE because Ive walked in on him before. And I can see from here.
