Plain black coffee doesn't have many calories at all. Most of the calories come from adding things like milk, cream, sugar, and other things such as CoffeeMate. Those coffee drinks that come from places like Starbucks tend to have a lot of calories in them also because they have a lot more things in them than just the regular stuff that comes from your coffee pot at home. I would reccomend not going to starbucks too often if you're looking for low fat coffee. ]
Black coffee isn't that fattening and doesn't have much calories but when you add sugar and milk and what ever else, it has more calories. So if you drink coffee, you can add sugar sweetner which is 0 calories and get skim milk (pink cap) and you won't be drinking tons of calories. ]
i've always been told that black coffee (nothing added to it) has 0 calories. but when you add milk, cream, and sugar you are adding lots of calories to it. ]
well from what i know, no it does not have many calories if you have it straight. but it does have a lot of caffine in it and the more you drink, the more you become addicted to it. like i know this one girl who was on weight watchers, and she could drink all the coffee she wanted cuz it was a 0,meaning not many calories....... so anywayz, hope this helped. ]
