I guess that it is true after all that we don’t appreciate something unless it is missing from our lives, and what makes things even more critical is that we miss it more when we see others enjoying it without any effort as if things come to them without them having to work for it.

The irony in this whole thing is that those people might be looking at us and saying to themselves that we are luckier than them because of things that we have and they don’t.

[16,f] So, in about 10 days I'm going to the gyno. I've never been and I really don't want to go. I know that part of the procedure is sticking metal instruments inside "there." Now, I'm not a virgin. I've only had sex a couple of times. My friend says that to judge what size instrument you need they ask if you're a virgin or not, and if not, they use larger instruments. I really don't want it to be any larger than it has to be. AT ALL. So my question is this, should I lie, and say I am? Or tell the truth? Or maybe just say I prefer a smaller one? I can tell you first hand they don't use different size instruments. If that was the case, we would all lie and say we wanted the smaller one lol. When they put this instrument in you, you only feel a little bit of pressure for about 10 seconds, the part that sucks is the instrument is cold! Yes if it's your first time, they will ask you if your sexually active, they will only do that if your mom is NOT in the room. Patients over 12 years of age are protected under the doctor-patient privelege act. This means you can tell you Dr. you have had sex with 250 people and he CAN'T tell your parents or he could loose his license to practice medicine and be sued by you. On a additional note, if your sexually active I would highly reccomend birth control if your not already on it. If you don't want your mom to know you got birth control, then ask for the shot, this way your not walking out the place with packets of birth control and the shot lasts for 3 months at the time. {Depo Provera}

My friend and I want to throw an awesome Halloween party but we don't know where to start. A lot of people are going to be there so it can't be lame. Any ideas?

*Play a game like spin the spider, where ever it lands you gotta' kiss that person.

*Have shot glasses filled with something that would be off of Fear factor, all green and slimey (but safely edible)

*A costume to get in the door is a must.

*I wouldn't want a scarey song in the beackground because then they'll be nothing to do if there's a boring moment. Have Hellraiser or something like that playing on the T.V. in the background.

*Make a Haunted Section of the house, taking all the furniture out.

*Have a B.Y.O.P. (bring your own pumpkin) party. They can carve pumpkins, have pizza, bob for apples, etc. The pumpkin cutting takes up most of the time, and they have a blast. You could award prizes for funnies, scarriest, most artistic.

(HOW TO MAKE A HAUNTED "HOUSE")
1. Find a safe place large enough to accommodate all the things you plan to do. You can use your house, basement or yard - or if you really want to be extravagant, you can rent a large, vacant building.

2. Draw up a plan. Using a diagram of the space available, figure out what you want to have in your haunted house and where it might go. Plan an entrance and an exit.

3. Do the hard stuff first. Order or construct props, including such items as fake headstones, guillotines and coffins.

4. Put the haunted house together. Make it dark using black plastic trash bags or blankets over windows, then add eerie lighting. Include lots of unexpected scary sounds and sensory experiences to startle visitors. Keep in mind the need for adequate ventilation.

5. Use peeled grapes as eyeballs, placing them where people will touch them in the dark. Use Styrofoam heads from a beauty supply house and turn them into monsters.

6. Spritz visitors' faces with cold water in the dark, or have visitors walk through spider webs made of stretched cotton or wet string.

7. Create a bubbling-cauldron effect with the aid of dry ice. Fill a rubber glove with water colored with food coloring and freeze it, then remove the glove and float the 'frozen hand' in the cauldrons.

LAST STEP: FOOD
*Cut out sandwiches made from wheat bread in the shape of bats and cats; cut out ghosts from white bread.
*Boogers on a stick (Pretzels and green cheese dip)
*Blood and Chips (Any dip you like, and add a few drops of red food coloring)

i didnt know whether to put this in injuries or sex, but since it has to do with a certain part of my body, i guess sex?

Well, you already know that your going to have a Dr. because like you said it's not going to go "POOF" and magicially disapear. So I'm guessin' your needin' help with getting' over these feelings you have about a Dr. seeing your most intimate parts. Every woman has to go to the Dr for a pap-smear every year...I hate it every year...but I go through with it because it's my health at risk here and what could be more important than that. When I was 20 I went to a new Dr. and I guess I was more nervous than I thought because I kept trying to lock my knees together so he couldn't do the pap smear and it sucked feeling like there was a 100 watt light bulb down there making it so he could probably see things I didn't know I had! So finally he told me something...something I try to remember every year. "Kristen, If you don't open your legs I can't do this, What do you do for a living?" to which I responded " I work at a convience store" then he said, "ok, when a customer goes in the store do you pay attention to every minor detail of them?" I said, "Um no, I aint got time for that, I do my job and I go home!!" To which he replied "ME TOO." I hope maybe this story didn't bore you toooo much and maybe helped just a little. I've been working at a hair salon for 6 months now, and now I'm applying at other places. I got an interview for a restaraunt and a hair/tanning salon on the same day.. one at 3:15 one at 5. I would rather work at either one of the intervviews i have. So, i have 2 questions

1) What is a good way to give my two-week notice?2) What do I do if the first place offers me a job? What do i say?

I would tell the first interviewer -assuming they want to hire you- I really like the work envirnment, but give me some time to talk to my boss about a notice and I'll call you back this afternoon. This give you time to go to the other interview, then see which one you like the best without having to accept the first job. If something turns out and you don't like one of the new jobs, you can always go to the other place but if you promised you would work there then go to the other job, that first place won't try to hire you again because you already made yourself look un-trust worthy ya know. (hope that wasn't to confusin' lol) As far as giving a two week notice -which I always hated having to do- there is no good way to tell someone hey, I don't want to work here anymore lol the best thing you can say is just I'm sorry but as of September 20th, I want be able to work here anymore. I have enjoyed my job and the people I worked with, but am sad to say "I'll be moving" "Work is coming inbetween my studies" "My mom want's me to concentrate more on school because my grades have been dropping" "I found another job with better pay"

OK Yea, that was a RED flag right there. If he didn't have HIV, he would've just said NO, not "It don't matter". Yes it matters! One night of sex is hardly worth dying for. Go get tested right away and make him get tested too. If he comes out positive and your negative, then I highly reccomend you make him either wear a condom EVERYTIME or find your self a new partner. Your right! That is so sad that there doing that to that poor girl. There is a upside to learning sign language, for starters it will be something special that you can carry on with you through lige & it's a way to really help your friend right now. My 12 year old sister knows sign language because her best-friend is deaf. Just this past weekend I asked my sister to help me learn it. In two hours I got the whole Alphabet down pat *even after you have learned it, keep doing it just while your listening to music, or watching t.v. this way you won't forget it)(that should be the first thing you learn because if you forget the hand signal for a whole word, you can just spell it out) The best advice I can give you as far as learning it goes, Is write on a piece of paper to Ashley, telling you you would like for her to teach you sign language. I'm sure she would love to be able to teach you new things and it's also a better way for you and her to bond. Here's a few websites that might help you. Latley I have been bruising easily and bleeding a lot. i just BARELY bumped into a round bedpost and i now have a bruise, a bump, and an abraision. last night, i took of a peice of hanging skin on my foot that was about a sixth of an inch. it bles so much i had to soak my foot for fifteen minutes. after that, it continued to bleed and i had to dress it rather than use a band-aid. today a similar thing happened with my cuticle. i barely moved it up, which on most people wouldnt do a thing, but for me it bled a ton! Lastly a half an hour ago, i barely hit my leg and i already have a bruise and a bump! help!

Set the scene. Make sure that the mood and time are right.
Relax! Take a deep breath and let go of any tension in your neck and shoulders.
Put your arms around the person you want to kiss.
Start off with a normal kiss, not too firm, not too aggressive. Closing your eyes is optional.
In mid kiss, gently open your mouth and softly nudge the other persons mouth open using your tongue.
Again, not too aggressively, move your tongue inside the other persons mouth and playfully touch their tounge.
Read the other persons body language, if they seem tense or start to pull away, stop what you are doing.
If they open their mouth more or otherwise indicate they like the kiss, keep on doing what you have been only with a little more passion.
As the kissing gets going saliva build up can be a problem, don't forget to swallow.
Make sure you keep your tongues relaxed but your lips tight (saliva again), you don't want the kiss to turn messy.

Tips:
Don't forget to breathe.
Since French Kissing is "wetter" than other kinds of kissing it is a good idea to start with dry lips, don't lick them first.
If one of you have braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be more careful and not as forceful when things get passionate.
If both of you wear braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be very gentle and avoid touching teeth.

Okay, i have to make a recipie for chocolate chip cookies, using starting off a half pound of flour. From there, i have to figure out all the other recipes. Could someone please help me with this!?

This is the PERFECT recipe! By far the best choclate-chip cookies I have ever ate!!

1 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup shortening
3eggs
3tsp. vanilla
3cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1- 12oz. pkg. choclate chips

Preheat ovent o 350 degrees.
Mix cream, shortening & sugar together. Beat eggs; add to sugar mixture-stir in vanilla. Sift flour, salt & soda together; add to sugar mixture. Add choclate chips. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes.
ENJOY!!
