Answers That I've Given
Question:
Many people have their own opinons on family romance and im curiouse what are your thoughts?
My Answer:
EDIT: In respond to your "additional info," that is not acceptable at all. For your friend to interest in her dad, that is just not right. Even if they are not relative, the difference in age is still too much. You should stop your friend before things become ugly.
Original Answer (before you provide the "addition info):
Depends. What kind of "incest" are you talking about? Is it parent and child, brother and sister (no more than 3 years apart), or cousin and cousin (no more than 3 years apart)?
If the difference of their age are within reasonable range (half your age and plus seven or whatever, depending on their age group [e.g. teen, adult, middle age, etc.]), then, personally, I don't see anything wrong with it. Partially because I am a fairly open person when it comes to accepting something "uncommon," and partially because:
#1. It's not strange to develop a certain feeling toward a person of the opposite sex whom you spent your childhood with. It's part of human nature--the Westermarck effect.
#2. We have accepted people of difference race and religion into our society. We have also accepted homosexual (same-sex attraction, e.g. gay relationship or lesbian relationship). Why can't we accept incest between siblings and cousins? In fact, there are some countries in the Middle East that are still allow cousin marriage.
***Note: I haven't said anything about "having children" yet. I will tackle the argument now:
#3. Alan Bittles, an Australian geneticist, has collected data to show that the risk of birth defects increases from 2% in the general population to 4% when the parents are closely related. 2% to 4%? Not that much, don't you think?
[Source: http://www.slate.com/blogs/blogs/humannature/archive/2008/05/19/incest-and-delayed-motherhood.aspx ]
#4. A woman over 40 has an elevated risk of giving birth to a child with defects. People who with autosomal dominant disorders have a 50% chance of having children with the same disorder. That is A LOT HIGHER than between siblings and cousins. Why, I ask you, are we not banning them from having children?
#5. Again, go back to what I said in #2. It's just all about accepting. Many people are just "going along with the popular belief," just like how, in the past, people did not accept blacks and homosexuality.
Half your age and plus seven--the good-old dating age formula. If it's within that age interval, then I don't see anything wrong with incest. Of course the formula has some reasonable limits, but use your common sense.
Question:
Why are some people so afraid of commitment?
My Answer:
That's because we all fully aware that time steals away commitments and loosens ties. It makes promises and hope fade into nothingness and become forgotten as love and friendship are reduced to tales of the past and vague memories in the mind.
They afraid of commitment because they afraid that they, or the people whom they made a commitment with (or made a commitment to), would be unable to keep it.
Question:
Ok. So I was trying to watch Greek episodes from surfthechannel.com and I clicked on one of the sites for an episode, and my computer freaked out.
I have an HP Pavilion laptop with Windows Vista.
It opened up some Virus Protection program called Green AV Security? And it keeps having windows popping up, telling me I have a virus, when I haven't noticed anything different, except for the annoying pop-up windows saying I have a virus.
Is there a way to stop the annoying pop-ups from these programs? They go every five minutes, and it gets completely irritating.
One pop-up says:
"Green AV protection has detected Spyward program Win32.Monster.fx that is trying to attack your computer. Do you want to block the attack?"
Another says:
"Warning! 41 infections found. Unwanted software or tracking cookies have been found during the last scan."
Help? I'm hoping theymos sees this, but I wanted to post this to everyone because maybe someone else knows something, too?
My Answer:
That is NOT a virus, and THOSE ARE FALSE REPORTS send by (probably) the spyware or adware that you have on your computer. Ignore them and please do NOT download anything from those.
There are many types of malwares--adware, spyware, trojan, keylogger, rootkit, virus, etc. are all malwares. Among those, rootkits are the most difficult to detect and clean out.
I would say that you may have a type of spyware or adware on your computer.
The easiest would be to just run your anti-virus program, because most anti-virus programs come bundled with anti-spyware/adware/trojan,etc., too. But remember that anti-virus program does NOT give you 100% protection.
Besides that, you can also try SYSTEM RESTORE. If you have been creating at least one restore point on your computer each month (like you should), then this process should be a piece of cake. If you have never created a restore point, then . . . well, keep trying to remove the adware =)
Disconnect from the internet and uninstall suspicious programs are also a good start.
=================================================
If you don't have an anti-virus program installed on your computer and you don't want to spend money to buy one, then try one of these free anti-virus softwares:
****NOTE: Pick ONLY ONE because if more than one anti-virus software run at the same time, they might interfere with each other.
Avast! Home Edition: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
Avira AntiVir Personal Edition: http://www.free-av.com/en/products/1/avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html
Each has its own pros and cons. Just pick the one you like.
===============================================
An alternate program for anti-spyware only is SuperAntiSpyware (free version): http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
===============================================
There are cases where the malware is HIDDEN by a rootkit. If this is the case, then you really are into some trouble. Even among advanced users, rootkits are still very hard to detect. You can try out Gmer and IceSword, but you will need to spend some time to learn how to read their reports.
Gmer: http://www.gmer.net/
IceSword: http://www.antirootkit.com/software/IceSword.htm
(This is not a rootkits detector or remover. It's more like a process viewer and a port enumerator. You will have to figure out where the problems are themselves, based on the results provided by IceSword. Here's a tip: try google search when you have no idea what something is, lol.)

EDIT: Answer to Your Feedback
Your Question:
I have Avast, and I ran it, and it didn't find anything. My question now is: How do I stop the annoying pop-up warnings? If you respond to this question, please put: ***EDIT*** [Your answer here] At the bottom. Thanks =]
My Answer:
I suppose that this means your Avast unable to detect the ROUGE program? Hmm . . . I thought it could, but seem like I was wrong. Most antivirus programs couldn't detect rouges last year but they still can't this year? Anyway . . .
Try the following steps:
1. Download and install SmitFraudFix: http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php
2. Reboot into Safe Mode
3. Run SmitFraudFix's Clean (it's option #2, you can learn more about this at the website above, where you downloaded the file)
(also, the last time I run SmitFrauFix on my computer [which is a clean computer], my wallpaper is gone. I never understand why but . . . oh well, thought you might want to know)
4. Reboot to Normal Windows.
5. Download SuperAntiSpyware (free version): http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html (don't forget to update its definition)
6. Run SuperAntiSpyware and see if it detects anything at all.
By the way, SYSTEM RESTORE? Aren't you overlooking something easy? Don't worry, all of your files are safe =)
Worse comes to worst? Run HiJackThis and save the log file ( http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis ). Then either interpret it yourself or send it someone who can read it, and that person will tell you what to do next based on the log.
Question:
why does my lowr right side hurt it hurts when i lay to my side and it hurts if i lay down or sit or walk could it be my apendix im really scared
My Answer:
And how do you expect us to know? Even doctors have to go through clinical diagnosis and look at the scans in order to diagnose an illness. But here you are giving as little information as "my lower right side hurts" and expect us to tell you why it hurts.
It's kind of like saying, "Hey, I live somewhere on Earth. Tell me where my house is." It's impossible in every way, lol.
Anyway, like I said before, it could be many things--such as PID, appendicitis, hernia, or just simple muscle strain (just to name a few)--there's no way for us non-doctor to know for sure. Go check with your doctor. But if within one day (1 day), the pain gets to the point where it hurts so much that you can barely walk, just go straight to the hospital (because it could be appendicitis).
That's all I can say for now. Sorry for not being much of a help =)
Question:
A rock is dropped down a dark well and a splash is heard 3 seconds later. Taking into account the time required for sound to travel up the well, calculate the distance to the water in the well. The speed of sound is 340 m/sec.
Hey how do i solve this??? It's driving me nuts!!! Thank u in advance!! asap!
My Answer:
We are given that the speed of sound is 340 m/sec.
And the splash is heard 3 seconds later.
Thus:
340 x 3 = 1020 meters
The answer: The distance to the water in the well is 1020 meters (or about 3346.5 feet).
By the way, you've come to the wrong place. This is not a homework-help site, lol. You might want to ask these questions on a different site =)
Question:
I know that when an earthquake happens that lots of stuff shakes and is destroyed. (I have only seen these things on TV). So, I was thinking about it yesterday and was wondering...
What is an earthquake? What makes earthquakes happen and all of that?
My Answer:
First, we all know that the plates at the surface of the Earth are constantly in motion, right? (You know, the "plate tectonics" thing.)
There are places where the plates are stuck at the edges as the rest of them are continue to move. Strain slowly builds up at the rocks along the edges. And eventually, it comes to the point where the rocks just cannot stand it anymore and break (faulting--right before an earthquake, you usually see a crack on the surface, right? That's the fault. Faulting is a the sudden movement of the rock along a broken surface).
And because the rocks finally break, there is nothing to stop the plates anymore. The two sides move (this is when the earthquake happen--after the faulting, when the plates move).
It's kind of similar to when you hold both sides of a piece of paper and pull them on an opposite direction. The paper is torn because it could not stand the stress.
Did I make any sense? Hahaha, sorry if I am not; I am not a very good at explaining things.
=)
Question:
Hey, I have 2 questions.
ONE : Do guys like when girls swallow their cum ? Is that like a turn on or something ?
TWO : If you do decide to swallow, is there any chance of getting prego, or is it a 0 % chance ?
THANKS :)
My Answer:
Answer to question ONE: Most guys don't care, but why don't you just ask him that? I highly doubt that anyone on here have the telepathy ability that allows us to read his mind =)
Answer to question TWO: By "prego," you meant "pregnant," right? Yes? Maybe? I'll just assume that "prego" is your shortened form of pregnant.
Anyway, nope. 0% chance of pregnant if you swallow the ejaculation fluid (cum). The GI system (gastrointestinal system) is not directly connected with the reproductive tract; there's no way you can get pregnant by swallowing the ejaculation fluid.
BUT WATCH OUT FOR STDs (sexual transmitted diseases). If he has any STD (such as herpes 1 and 2, HPV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc.) you may get infected, too. So be careful with that.
Hope this helps,
=)
Question:
http://sororitylifetrain.blogspot.com/
that's my website, not my own domain but it'll due until i have success in this web business.
i've got about 60 hits so far but it's not going to go anywhere unless i can have everything functioning correctly on that website. for example i can't figure out the html to use to make that id form process into that table of icons i have there. those were'nt processed, i added them myself because i thought it might help the hit count until i figure out how to work the id train. this is my first website idea coming even close to success, yet, i can't go anywhere with it because im not competent to figure out how to process an id form for sorority life. what's your honest opinion on the website? can i make the form process on blogspot? if i can, how?
if you can help me, i'll owe you an infinite amount of gratitude (:
My Answer:
First, you cannot. The only thing that HTML does is tell the web browser what to display. To "make that id form process into that table of icons" (quoted what you said), you will need PHP or Perl scripts. HTML and javascript won't be enough. You need to have the PHP or Perl scripts host somewhere in order to send the correct instruction.
My Honest Opinion: I hope you don't mind, but I suggest that you should close down that website of yours for a while. When you open a website, you want it to be near perfect when you open it to public. As of now, I highly doubt that any of your visitors will visit your website again.
Also, the fonts on your layout is too small and too hard to see. I have to focus for a second in order to read it. You want to use web-safe fonts with at least size 11 or 12. Not smaller than that. And the color has to be standout from the background. You want it to look easy on the eyes, not fancy.
What exactly is that website about? It took me almost 20 minutes to figure out what exactly are you trying do there. You need to have a page that tell the visitors the purpose of your website--what your intentions are.
Overall, that website require major fixes and additional features. As it is now, none of your visitors will visit your website again.
Blogspot: Blogspot is not a really good place to host a website. It's a good place for a blog or a simple website where what you mainly want is just to give out the information. But what you are trying to do here is more like a website where visitors can participate in the activities and earn points, right?
For websites where you want the visitors to be able to participate, you want to host it on web hosting services that are designed for that purpose. This can be decide based on your knowledge about web scripts (PHP, ASP, Perl, CGI, MySQL, etc.) If you have no idea what I just talked about, then it's probably a good idea to find a web host that does the "drag and drop" type of thing.
If you want to build a social network, you want some sort of a content management system, a social network software.
Web hosts (free):
Webs.com: http://www.webs.com/
Great for webmasters who want to create a simple website but have no knowledge or experience about website building whatsoever.
Ning.com: http://www.ning.com/
Great for webmasters who want to create their own social networks but have no knowledge or experience about website building whatsoever.
50Webs.com: http://www.50webs.com/free_plan.html
For webmasters who have some knowledge about web scripts and FTP transfer but don't want to spend any money on their website.
Web hosts (commercial):
1and1.com: http://www.1and1.com/
Offers one of the cheapest web hosting packages as of today. The load time of the admin control panel is kind of slow, but that should not be a problem. Easy FTP access and domain management. I have a website hosted on there.
GoDaddy.com: https://www.godaddy.com/
I haven't use it so I can't comment on this. But many users are satisfy with it.
Free Content Management Softwares (for social networks):
Elgg: http://www.elgg.org/
It's among the best (if not the best) open source social network softwares as of now. Elgg operates in a LAMP environment and it is easy to install and configure, require very little PHP knowledge.
LovebyLess: http://lovdbyless.com/
Unlike Elgg, this one uses Ruby on Rails. It is easy to use and contains most of the applications that you need. If you don't like PHP, then this is a good choice.
Question:
I kinda unerstand the difference between RAM and Memory and i was just wondering can RAM be used up like Memory?? Ram is rapid access memory and memory is where files/ect are stored and i want to know if RAM can be depleted so my question is can ram be used up???
My Answer:
First, no, you do NOT understand the difference between RAM and memory.
RAM is Random Access Memory. ("random," not "rapid.") RAM is a type of memory! It is the volatile type of memory. RAM is constantly be use by your computer while it's running and once you shut down your computer, all memory in the RAM is deleted (or lost).
And about your question, yes, RAM can be used up if you run too many programs at once, but if you turn off unnecessary programs or reboot (restart) your computer, the RAM will be all clear again.
Open your computer's task manager and check the processes. You should be able to see a list of programs and services that are running on your computer.
Question:
Is there possibly a solfware similar to graboid except with more bandwidth?
My Answer:
Maybe you want to take a look at one of the following freewares (free softwares). They are a little bit similar to Graboid, though not entirely the same:
JLC's Internet TV: http://www.jlc-software.com/index.php?page=programs.html
JLC's channel guide is maintained by the users. Its stream quality is rather random--some channels have high quality while others are really low. But if you pay attention to the user rating, you would know which channel is better.
Miro: http://www.getmiro.com/
Miro does both live streams and RSS (JLC doesn't do RSS). Compare to JLC, Miro has very limited network content, so unless you know where to get your videos, you might not like Miro much. Another down side of Miro is that you will need a lot of hard drive and faster internet connection because it wants to download everything to your computer in TiVo style (get the TV shows into your computer so that you view them later).
Hope this helps,
=)
Question:
I really want to stop drinking soda but I'm having a really hard time doing so. Usually I'll have 5-6 sodas a week and 99% of the time it's when I'm out. It's really not that much, but soda is so unhealthy for you and I'm trying to get a grip on my diet. Sometimes my dad keeps a 2 liter in the fridge so it's very tempting to have 'just a cup' and ending up drinking 2 more during the day. I don't want to switch to diet sodas either because they're worse for you and 0 calorie drinks like crystal lite contain aspartame which is a fake sweetener that causes a lot of health issues. Any ideas on how to stop? oh & I'm 17/f.
My Answer:
The easiest way is to stop (by "stop," I mean STOP COMPLETELY, not the kind of "uh, maybe just one or two" stop) for a month. And that's it. You would no longer feel the temptation to drink soda anymore, not until you start to drink them frequently again. Personally I drink soda no more than once a year, but as far as quitting goes, try to go down to 1-2 a month.
If you are too addicted to caffeine to do that, then I suggest you to try out tea instead. I don't think you would like tea enough to drink 5-6 glasses of them a week, lol. Most teenagers don't. Besides tea, water sounds appealing too. Most people do NOT drink enough water for their body in a day.
Don't buy soda! This might sound obvious, but because you said that "99% of the time" you drink soda is when you are out, I thought I should just point it out. If you don't have it, you cannot consume it.
Knowledge is Power! That hasn't change yet. Read about aspartame, about how it contain methanol and how it will turn into formic acid and formaldehyde. Read about how Coke can dissolves a nail in several days, or how coke can be use as a toilet bowl cleaner. The more you know, the more nasty they become. Eventually you'll come to the point where you want to avoid them as much possible, just like how you want to avoid smoking or walking alone at midnight on a dark and quiet street.
Question:
I need some help. i need html/javascript
to make a form
Your ID:
that's all i got, i need it to sumbit that information entered in the text area. I need it to submit the information on the same page except in a table below the form. Also with that information in the text area, i need additional text merged with it to make an URL. That's all. Please give me accurate information, and information I can use. If you could give me html, that would be great. It would probably help me more. Thanks.
My Answer:
That looks like the setting of a contact/feedback form. Go to this webpage and scroll down: http://www.thesitewizard.com/wizards/feedbackform.shtml
It will guide you through the steps and give you all the stuffs you need.
First, it will provide you either a PHP or Perl script (depending on what you choose). Then you save the script to your computer and upload it to your website via FTP. It will then give you the html to put on your page.
The only thing that the HTML does is display the form. You can't make a form with HTML alone without a PHP or Perl script.
So if you have absolutely no idea what PHP or Perl script is, then I suggest that you either take time and learn about them first, or use a service where the script is not hosted on your site.
This service is a good one, you can use it for free: http://www.emailmeform.com/
EmailMeForm doesn't require you to upload any script to your site, all you need to do is embed the HTML and that's it. Pretty easy for a beginner.
Question:
hii you answered someone else's question here: http://www.advicenators.com/qview.php?q=567779
Do guys get "blue balls" EVERY TIME they get hard and you don't let them cum?
---The answer is "no."
This doesn't always happen though, depending on how "excited" he got.
^ i have a question on that. i asked a question here once about whether there was a such thing as degrees a guy got excited. can guys get a little bit hard? is that possible? how do you know how aroused he is? i thought if it was up, it's up.. but maybe it can like grow. i dont know what im talking about. lol thanks for your help for shedding light on this matter
My Answer:
I don't know what you are talking about either, lol. Could you ask your question more clearly? I don't understand what you are trying to ask.
Question:
okay so when me and my boyfriend dry hump i orgasm really quickly, then its like i wanna stop, but i feel bad cause i get him hard, then he gets blue balls right? do guys get blue balls everytime when they get hard and you don't let them cum? so is it mean of me to dry hump and not give him a hj/bj after?
and yes i'm one of those lucky few girls who orgasm fast by pretty much doing nothing lol
My Answer:
Do guys get "blue balls"?
---The answer is "yes."
Do guys get "blue balls" EVERY TIME they get hard and you don't let them cum?
---The answer is "no."
When he gets hard, blood flows to his penis and his testicles, causing the penis to erect and the testicles to swell. If he doesn't ejaculate, then the pressure will build up in his testicle and cause it to swollen and kind of turn into a purple-ish color. (I don't know why it calls "blue balls" though; I might need to look into this afterward.)
This doesn't always happen though, depending on how "excited" he got.
Anyway, "blue balls" could cause the man to feel sore and mild ache, but if it is serious (like he got too excited and too much blood flowed in), then it could be as painful as being kicked "where-the-sun-doesn't-shine" (being kicked in the balls).
It could last anywhere from half an hour to over 5 hours.
But the good news is, it's not dangerous, and does no harm to him (except the pain). The blood will eventually drain on its own, if he doesn't ejaculate.
Also, be aware that there will be people, even adults and some teachers, that tell you that this is a myth. It's NOT! "Blue balls" do happen and they do cause discomfort.
Are "blue balls" dangerous? The answer is "NO!" If he tells you that if he doesn't come, his testicle might explode, go kick his balls and see if it got popped. Testicles are hard to be harmed, even if you hit it with a baseball bat, no harm will be done (except the pain). But don't use a hammer, a knife, a sword, or a gun though, hahaha.
And yes, from a guy's point of view, it is mean. As much as you girls don't like your "monthly-annoyance" (your period [or PMS]), we don't like getting "blue balls" either.
Hope this helps,
=)
Question:
I need a new email address and I was unsure which site offers the best free email. I know of a few like Yahoo, Hotmail, and Google's GMail but that doesn't tell me much, you know? I use to have a Hotmail account but I got spam a lot and so I didn't really like it. I mean, if that's the BEST there is then I'll just use it but I hope there is better!
Any suggestions?
My Answer:
Each person's taste is different--what is best to me may not be the best to you. So I will just quickly compare the 4 major web-mail services available in the US, and then you will have to decide which is best for you.
Gmail/Google Mail:
---7.5 GB of storage, 25 MB limit for attachments
---text ads only, no ad is added to your email or signature
---uses label system, kind of like tagging your emails
---Gmail has the best spam filter, in my experience. I have not had any spam in my inbox since the day I use it. (either that, or I am just lucky)
---very hard to add pictures and videos into your email, but gmail has many "lab features," which you can enable to tweak gmail to your liking--kind of like Firefox's Add-ons.
Hotmail/Live Mail:
---5 GB of storage, 10 MB limit for attachment
---ads interface and inside emails; they also add text ads into your signature when you send out emails (you have to pay about $20 USD each year if you want the ads removed)
---uses folder system, kind of like categorizing your emails
---its spam filter sometimes send the non-spam emails into the spam folder (for some weird reasons), and miss out a lot of spams (in my experience)
---easy to add pictures as well as videos into your email.
Yahoo Mail:
---Unlimited storage (or so they say), 10 MB limit for attachments
---banner ads and text ads, no ad is added to your signature or email.
---uses folder system, kind of like categorizing your emails
---an okay spam filter--no comment on it
---flexible interface where you can drag the borders to increase or decrease the space
AOL Mail/AIM Mail:
---Unlimited storage (or so they say), 16 MB limit for attachments
---ads in interface; they also add text ads into your signature when you send out emails
---uses folder system, kind of like categorizing your emails
---the most troublesome web-mail service of the four--there are times when the emails that were sent to you never reach you. The rate of lost email is high. (don't know why)
Personally I like Gmail the most, because its advertisements are non-intrusive--it's like there is no ads at all--not to mention that it does NOT put ads into your signature like Hotmail and AOL mail. Aside from its effective spam filter, gmail is fast and has many "lab features." Gmail also group emails of the same subject into one "conversation," allowing you to keep track of your conversation better.
=============================================
Also, the other person (the answer below this one) said that there are porn ads and pop up ads on hotmail. That is WRONG!
There are ads in the interface and in the message in Windows Live Hotmail, but NO PORN or POP UP ads. Most likely he has an adware (a type of malware) on his computer and it was causing the problem.
Hope this helps,
=)
Question:
okay so me and my boyfriend are like straight up in love :) we've been together for like 3 years and we're only 16. well I'm 16 and he's 17. I haven't plan on loosing my virginity to him but now I feel that I'm ready but I'm just so scared. if we use a condom, what are the chances it might break or pop?
My Answer:
In a yearly statistic, for typical condom use, between 12 to 15 out of 100 sexually active women become pregnant (about 10% to 15%), and 2 to 3 out of 100 sexually active women becoming pregnant for perfect use (2% to 3%).
The highest ever recorded was 21 out of 100 (21%).
So that means condoms have a failure rate of about 3% to 14%, depending on whether you two are "typical users" or "perfect users." And since you asked such question, most likely you two do not know the perfect way to use the condom. Your chance of pregnancy is 12%.
ALSO,
Condom is a good method is prevent STDs (Sexual Transmitted Diseases), but as far as "preventing pregnancy" goes, it's NOT among the bests.
Birth control pills (oral contraceptive pills) put you at less than 2% risk of pregnancy at typical use (perfect use of the pills put you at less than 1% chance of pregnancy). It's a better method.
Besides birth control pills, vaginal ring and contraceptive implants are also good methods taht decrease your risk of pregnancy to less than 1%. But they require you to visit a doctor so . . . maybe not (because you are just 16 years old).
Of course, there are other more effective birth control methods such as sterilization and IUD, but they are either high cost or have bad side effects, not to mention that they require you to see a doctor, which, you can't.
As for whether you should do it or not, I have no idea. My teenager mind is saying "go for it, enjoy your time" but my brain is saying "no no, there are this, this, and that risk, and you are too young, and there are a few STDs that will affect you for the rest of your life, and so on so on." I don't know, hahaha. Another Advicenators columnist will have to answer that.
Hope this helps,
=)
Question:
Hello. I am a female and I'm 14. I met my boyfriend a year ago but we have been dating for 4 months. We recently started having sex--we love each other. We do it because we love each other not for pleasure. Well anyway, we had sex a couple days ago. This is what my question is about: He ejaculated in a condom, waited a litte while, cleaned his penis off with soap and water, and tried sex without a condom. BUT he did not ejaculate without the condom. In fact, I only let him in there for about 15-20 seconds. I was wondering what you thought the chances of me getting pregnant from that are. I finished my period about a week ago, maybe a little more. So, I shouldnt be ovulating for about 5 days to a week. IF there was any sperm, it would have died in me,right? i heard that they cant last more than 5 days inside the vagina. Also, my boyfriend says soap kills sperm. He is sure I am not pregnant-I'm just worried! Help!
My Answer:
Soap does kill sperms, but not instantly. It takes about 10 to 15 seconds for the sperms to die completely. However, if he washed his penis, then all the sperms should have either got washed off by the water or died of the soap. There is nothing to worry there.
Now, with that out of the way, let's move on to your second concern: what are the chances that you might have gotten pregnant?
---For this time only, you have less than 2% chance of pregnancy (condom plus ovulation time, and when you two go "raw," it was a "second round" and only went on for 15 seconds [assuming that no pre-cum came out]).
HOWEVER, if you keep relying on condoms to protect you, you are BOUND TO GET PREGNANT ONE DAY.

ABOUT CONDOM
(you have learned too many myths about condoms, time to unlearn them.)
Condoms put you at about 3% to 14% risk of pregnancy, depending on whether you two are "typical users" or "perfect users." And since you are only 14, he should be around your age, too, so most likely you two do not know the perfect way to use the condom. Your chance of pregnancy is 12%.
Again, you have a 12% risk of pregnancy, if you use condom alone and it is a typical use ("perfect use" decreases the chance to 3%).
Condom is a good method is prevent STDs (Sexual Transmitted Diseases), but as far as "preventing pregnancy" goes, it's NOT among the bests.
Birth control pills (Oral contraceptive pills) put you at less than 2% risk of pregnancy at typical use. It's a better method.
Besides birth control pills, vaginal ring and contraceptive implants are also good methods taht decrease your risk of pregnancy to less than 1%. But they require you to visit a doctor so . . . maybe not (because you are just 14 years old).
Of course, there are other more effective birth control methods such as sterilization and IUD, but they are either high cost or have bad side effects, not to mention that they require you to see a doctor, which, you can't.
By the way, aren't you a little bit too young to have sex?
Question:
I have a daughter and she is 12 years old. She is a bit overweight. But does not look it.
She's 5'3, 12, and weighs 139 lbs. My question to you all is do you think that she is overweight, and if so, what can she do, that is fun, to lose weight?
Thanks!
(P.S.-It won't hurt my feelings if you say she is, I just want the honest to God truth(: Thanks again!)
My Answer:
5'3", 12-year-old girl, not active, weighs 139 lbs, correct?
I am sorry to say, but she is overweight. She should be at most 122 lbs and at least 85 lbs.
If she cut down on soft drinks (soda, coke, pepsi, etc.) and junk food (snacks, chips, etc.), her weight should automatically drop after a while (a few months).
And by "cut down," I mean "no-more-than-one-per-month." She should drink no more than one can of soda and eat no more than one bag of chips each month.
However, she should NOT cut down her three main meals--breakfast, lunch, dinner. Those three meals are important; let she eats until she is full. Also, she needs to drink a lot water, at least 5 glasses a day--increase the number to 8 and up if she exercises.
Other than that, you can get her to exercise, play around in the yard--just basically do something that forces her to move around and get tired.

The person who answered before me is not wrong, but his answer is incorrect. If your daughter is over 35 years old, then his answer is correct, but your daughter is 12 years old, not above 35.
BMI is different depending on the person's age, activeness, overall health, and ethnicity (race).
Your daughter's BMI is 24.6 kg/m2 (number 2 is a superscript [to indicate square]). That is at about the 71st percentile (compare to other Americans). This means that her weight is greater than 71% of other girls that are about her age. About 50st percentile is average--that would be about 117 lbs.
Question:
My 16 year old feamle best friend is, and has been for 3 years, dating my 17 year old male cousin. My cousin just recently moved in with her because his family is definitely falling apart. I am okay with that because we still all spend time away and toghether, But my problem is that they have been having sex for over a year now. I know they are too young for it and so do they. Now my best friend is in a hole; she hasn't had her monthly since May! She wants to find out for sureif she is pregnant before she talks with her parents. Should we keep it a secret and buy a test or should I convince her to tell her parents? Also; I know she is not ready for it... should she out it up for adoption or have an abortion, or keep it if she is!?

My Answer:
I would suggest that you check first by using a HPT (Home Pregnancy Test), but if things are as you said, I would say that there is a 80% chance that she's pregnant already. (Yes, 80%, because there are a few other factors that may cause her "monthly annoyance" (or periods [PMS]) to not show up.)
And either way, if she is pregnant, she WILL have to consult her parents sooner or later. There's no way to get out of this without doing so. I suggest that when she reveals that to her parents, she has a third adult (maybe his parent, your parent, or someone who can be trusted) standing next to her to help. This is necessary because her parents might "overreact" to the news (can't blame them though).
=============================================
And about the adoption or abortion part, even though A LOT of people on here would disagree with me, I would still suggest an abortion.
Adoption is a choice if she is over 19 years of age, but because she is only 16 years old right now, abortion would be a better choice--for her family, for herself, and, above all, for the child, too.
Of course, the ultimate decision is up to her parents (again, her parents, not herself). What they decide will be the final decision. But under NO circumstance should she raise the child herself. No, not, and NOPE! It's either adoption or abortion. And if she wants to keep the child, her parents will have to help her raise the child. Else, things aren't going to look nice in the future. She cannot raise a child by herself yet.
(I am trying to keep my answer short so I won't go too far with the explanation as to why abortion "seems" to be a better choice and why her parents should be the ones that make the final decision, but if you want, inbox me about it. But the reasons should be obvious.)

By the way, just out of curiosity, you sure that she's not you? (hehehe, just curious)
Question:
how do you do the pixelly thing on someone's face?
http://pics.livejournal.com/kendrasaur/pic/0000x0w5/s320x240
My Answer:
You pixelate it.
Pixelation is very easy--take less than 2 minutes. What image editor do you use or have? I can't help you if I don't know what the program that you are going to use is. Is it GIMP, Paint.NET, ArtWeaver, Photoscape, Photoshop, or . . . something else?
Usually the process is: select the area that you want to pixelate, and then under Filters or Effects, choose "Pixelate" (sometimes it is grouped under "Distorts")
In the mean time, you can use Pixlr; It is a free, web-based image editor that support layers: http://www.pixlr.com/editor/
Here's how to do a pixelation on it: http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/8110/pixelate01a.png
and here's the finished product: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/670/pixelate01b.png
If you want some fun effects, like water reflection, burning flame, falling snow, etc, then check out Blibs: http://www.blibs.com/editor/
But of course, one you are familiar with image editing and become an advanced user, you should try out GIMP. It's free and it has advanced tools and features. It is a little bit too complex for beginners though.
Hope this helps,
=)
