Q: So i was just thinking to myself after having a conversation with m best girl friend, she says she feels really sorry for me not havinga girlfriend but im really fine with it. i dont get lonley much because im allways busy skating or playing guitar or doing somthing. whilst thinking about it some more i started saying in my mind, "Well if its meant to be then its meant to be. if not then its not." i realised that i was debating whether its fate that brings couples together or whether its determination or somthing. for some poeple relationships fall into place easily but for other its a one sided love were one feels strongly for another but the other... not so much.

Q: So I met this guy in september and we instantly hit it off. We became best friends, like we had knows each other for years. We told each other everything that happened. We were together in a way that only we understood. We live 2 hours away, and are currently on an exchange. So we had the type of relationship where it was okay to kiss other people, and from the beggining out relationship was about trust. Telling each other when things happened, if we kissed someone and so on. Then I went on a trip for a month and when I got back things were different, I only wanted to be with him, and we got a lot more serious.(by this time we have known each other 7 months) But after a while I started longing for another guys kiss, so I went for it. I kissed 4 guys in one week. And since its about trust, and I felt horrible for doing it, I thought I would do the right thing, I knew I had to tell him but I knew I had to break up with him as well. He did not take it very good, either did all of our friends, they all turned against me and he did not talk to me for about 3 weeks. It was the hardest time of my life. On all ends of the world, I love that kid. I spent hours and hours crying, trying to get a hold of him, looking at our pictures. Once he finally talked to me, it was better but I felt that our friendship was different and it will never be the same. He says I can tell him anything and that we are still friends. But I feel like if i were to tell him somethings, he would feel the need to do it and be better than me, because thats the way he is, he would want to show me he can do it also. I need my best friend back, but most of all I want the love back. Back in the US, we live in different states, different sides of the country. I plan on visiting him during christmas break, and he had talked about moving near me.
The way I see it is, I did the better thing, I took the adult step and told him, broke up with him because it was for his own good. And he can't see that, all he sees is the bad in me. Q: Ok I'll shorten this as much as possible. Ok so there is a girl I'm into, let's call her Susie. Susie and I met about 4 months ago and she quickly became my best friend over night. We went on a trip together out of the country and spent about 10 days together... day and night. I really like her and she means the world to me. Now when I met her she had a boyfriend and shortly after they broke up and she has stayed single. I'm 17 and she is 18 by the way. I'm a junior and she is a senior and she is moving out of state to go to college. Everyone has told me she likes me and we would be perfect together but the problem is that in 3-4 months she will be many miles away and I am stuck here. I can't decide what to do, should I go for it and ask her out sometime or just stay friends? This girl means the WORLD to me and I do not want to lose her for anything. I feel like if we did start something it would be awkward since we will be so far apart and I don't want it to hurt the friendship we have right now. you would never know that he had these problems though. hes captain of the varsity football team, plays lacrosse, class clown, one of the most loved guys in schoool. all the girls find him really hot and they all want to date him. but he was known as the biggest player in school too. as in he had 10 girls at the same time. and i know this because we were best friends before we dated and he would tell me everything. when we were best friends everything was perfect and he treated me like his number one. when we started dating he still treated me like his number one but he was also a huge asshole sometimes. when we fight we both put eachother down so much and says things like fuck u, i cant stand u, and just other dumb stuff. but we usually fight on the phone because fighting in person doesnt go so well.

funny story that you dont have to read, you can skip but this is why we dont fight in person (well we were yelling and i had just come home from a party and i was soaking wet because i had walked to his house in the rain and i was in a dress and stilletos and my hair was dripping. we started yelling and i finally had enough and said IM ABOUT TO SHOVE MY STILLETTO UP YOUR F****IN ASS IF YOU DONT SHUT UR MOUTH FOR 2 SECONDS. well he walked over to me shoved me against the wall grabbed my face, and we started making out kind of violently (we can be rough sometimes haha) and he ripped all my clothes off and yeah. so thats why fighting in person never works unless im upset and crying. then he holds me and tries to work things out. but apparantly my anger seems to turn him on. so most of our fights happen over text or a call which probably isnt a good way of communication.)


the thing is, i really love him. i couldnt imagine living wihtout him. we fight so much and at times cant stand eachother, but we always make up and hes my everything. i cant stand to be without him. but being in a relationship with a guy who has so many problems is so hard.

everything was going fine for the first 3 months and we were so in love. we still are but then we hit this patch that i really didnt think we would get over. it was fighting, not talking for days, crying and yeah it was no fun. but even in this stage, we still had our good days and that was what kept us going. but i didnt know how long this could go on for and after a month of this, he said we should take a break.

at first i was happy about it because i felt like i needed some space. but i still cried everyday because all i wanted was to be with him. i was a mess and didnt want to talk to anyone. after 2 weeks of this break, my boyfriend said that he didnt think our relationship was going to work. so we broke up. i was so upset, but a week later he wanted to get back together. so we got back together but now (2 months later) we are going through the same thing, he said that he hates being around me sometimes and that he just cant do it anymore. so we broke up. (again)we yelled and screamed and i slammed the door in his face because he was being an asshole and i walked out. he texted me later and we talked a little bit. he asked me what i wanted to do and i said i wanted to get back together but that i wasnt going to because he didnt want that. but he kept saying that he wanted to do whatever i wanted. i told hom to do whatever made him happy and he got pissed and told me to just stop worrying about his happiness and tell him what would make me happy. but i love him and was not going to make him unhappy so i said we should take a little break then maybe get back together in a while. so he said ok.

my question is, should i keep going back into this unstable on off relationship even though the same things keep happening and it hurts me. or should i just end it? and i cant just be friends with him because there are too many feelings so its either all or nothing.

i love him so much and i cant imagine ever being with somebody else. even if i did end this relationship with him i could never imagine being with another guy. but his bipolar is makin him love me one second and hate me the next. but even in the bad times he says he still loves me and thats what keeps me going. i just dont know if this relationship will work because one second we are fine, but the next he wants to break up and i dont want to keep it going if he seems like he doesnt want to and is just staying with me because he wants me to be happy. i just want him to be happy and sometimes i think the relationship is making him so unhappy and hes only in it for me. i want to be there for him and i know he has a hard time dealing with all his stuff but i want him to know that he can always come to me for anything and ill always be there.

Q: My boyfriend's mom & sister-in-law have always kind of had a love/hate relationship, I guess. They get mad at each other then make up. I'd never seen it happen, though, until today.

I was at their house & my boyfriend's mom pretty much went off on his sister-in-law for not helping out with the kids (his sister-in-law has 5 kids & his mom & dad pretty much raise them). She was telling her that she wanted to be able to talk to me without having to yell at the kids, but his sister-in-law was just messing with her phone. So, then they pretty much went there seperate ways.

The problem I'm having is, I'm kind of close with both of them. I talk to both of them a lot & everything, but I kind of feel like I'm taking sides. They both sort of badmouth the other sometimes, & I understand them getting aggrevated at each other, but I always try to cheer people up, so naturally when they say something bad about the other, I always want to say "yeah, I know", but I don't want to be badmouthing both of them behind their back.

Is there anything I can do to not try to take sides, or help them without talking bad about the other?
