advice

theres a dance comin up at my school n i love dances n all. but when i dance(grindin) i NEVER kno where to put my hands, so, where?

I guess it depends on if you're grinding with a person or not. If you have a person, you can put your hands around his/her waist, on his/her shoulders, or on his/her arms. Anywhere you feel comfortable with your hands, just put them there, if they're confortable with it, too.

If you're just grinding by yourself, move your hands like you'd move your feet. Slide your hands down your body, put them up in the air, on your legs, etc. Just kind of go with the flow. Or, watch other girls/guys dance around you and if you like how they're dancing, dance like them. ♥

OK so, right before Christmas my freind broke up wtih her boyfreiend. They had only been seeing eachother for 2 weeks. She then told me sometimes in January that if me or any of my freinds went out with him she would be mad. Well, we aren't really freinds and more and over the weekend I kissed her ex. I don't know if I should tell her or just keep it to myself. Like, if someone else told her would it be worse? I like him and have liked him since January.

Well, I don't think you should tell her, since you guys aren't even that good of friends anymore. It would be way different if you guys were closer, then I'd tell you to tell her.

Anyways, just keep it to yourself, for now. If she does find out about this and get's mad at you because of it, tell her how you feel about it. Her and him broke up and it's not your fault that you're feeling this way. You can't help how you feel about someone. They've only went out for 2 weeks, so she shouldn't be hurt about it now, especially if they broke up before Christmas. ♥

So my bf got sent away for a while...i didnt get to see him much but we had sex a couple of times b 4 he left but then he got sent away....he just recently got back and we have sex whenever wherever....n i love him...he loves me...u know...n we dont use condoms but were both still in high school....do you think its a very bad idea to not use condoms if he pulls out and im on birth control....thanks for your time!!!

It isn't a bad idea, since you're on birth control. But, there's still a change you can get pregnant, even though you're on birth control and he pulled out. You just never know with these things. Something could happen. You'd be MUCH safer to be on birth control and use a condom, next time. ♥

My mom will NOT let me go out anywhere. Im 14 years old and i still have yet to go out to the mall with my friends. Shes way too over protective. Im not even aloud to walk down my street to mcdonalds which is not even two minutes away. I have tried numerous times to talk to her about this situation and she still sticks with the same awnser of "no your too young!" She bearly lets me go to school events, and mi grandmother pushes her into the no awnser even farther.

Well hun, I really don't know what you can do about this, especially since you already tried to talk to her about this problem. I mean you're 14, you should be out there having fun with your friends and not having parents' tag along. Why is she so over-protective of you? Did you give her a reason to? Did you do something to lose her trust? If you didn't, she should be able to trust you and know you won't do anything wrong while you're out with your friends. If she TRUST you, you'd be able to do things.

Why not try and talk to her again, take baby steps. Maybe she could let you walk to McDonalds, for starters. Tell her if she trust you, she'd like you do it. Make her trust you. Give her reasons why you'd never betray her trust. Suck up to her a little, do things around the house, make her happy, cook her cookies, etc.

Usually when parents are THIS over-protective, when the kids get out on their own, they just go crazy and they do whatever they want; good or bad. Tell her this. Explain to her that her keeping you so close to her isn't getting you or her anywhere. This isn't a life for a girl, especially a 14-year-old girl. You should be out there, going out with your friends, having sleepovers, going shopping, etc. It's not right to not be able to do things with your friends.

Other then that, I don't really know what you can do about this, sweetie. Maybe you could get some family members that agree with you and get them to talk to your mom about this. I wish you all the luck in the world and I hope things get better. ♥

My friend collects model horses (like the plastic ones, etc). I'm fine with it, but I'm just curious to know what people think about it. What are your opinions?

I think it's cool. A lot of people collect things and there's nothing wrong with it. I collect Monkey things; posters, stuffed animals, little plastic ones, etc. Anything to do with Monkeys, I'll have it :) So, really. I think it's cute that your friend collects horse things. Nothing to be ashamed of. Plus, it shouldn't matter what others may thing, aslong as she's happy with doing this. That is all that counts. ♥

I've heard a whole bunch of stories lately of what happens to guys who go to work up in the oil rig camps in Northern Alberta Canada. One was that because it's so cold up there, that they have nothing to do but spend all their money on alcohol or drugs. They make a ton of money and spend it on drugs or alhohol because it's too cold to do anything else. I heard that some come back as addicts. I also heard some guys become addicted to porn because there are no woman up there.
This concerns me because right now a male friend of mine is working up there as a cook. I hardly ever hear from him. I know he works his ass off, and doesnt get a break for two weeks.
Has any one else heard any stories like these?

Mmm, I haven't heard any of these stories. Just because there's Oil Rigs and stuff there, doesn't mean he's going to be blowing all his hard earned money on drugs, alcohol and porn. The cost of living out west is A LOT. So, he'll need his money to actually keep a house or apartment (which ever one he is in.) There's druggies everywhere, not just in Alberta where they have Oil Rigs.

My friend used to work in Alberta on the Oil Rigs and he was making a lot of money. It's a hard job and you have to be clean to actually get a job there. Just because my friend had that money, doesn't mean he was going to spend in on drugs, because he didn't.

I guess, it just depends on the person your friend is and if he'll cave into stuff like that. If not and you know he's strong-minded, don't worry about it. He'll be fine and won't give into that stuff. He'll have a normal life and will live it great. Just keep in contact with him and check up on him every so often, just to see how he's doing. ♥

Well i have brown eyes..and BLAH! i hate them..they are so dark and ..to me ..ugly!
all the gorgeous girls have blue eyes and i really wish i could have blue eyes..and im definately not getting colored contacts..my brown eyes make me feel so ..ugly. i always say to myself..if you were to have blue eyes you would be so much prettier..and i like this guy..but i think he likes his ex again..and what does she have? blue eyes. and i have brown hair..so on me i think it looks so ugly! i dont want to dye my hair blonde tho haha. on some girls brown hair and brown eyes is gorgeous..just not me. what do i do..my brown eyes are making me feel so..ugly.. =[

Aw, hunny. Don't think that way about yourself, I'm sure you're beautiful. Brown eyes are gorgeous. I myself have brown eyes and brown hair, I used to hate my eyes, until I started wearing make-up. When you put on eye shadows like pink, purple, gold, silver, nice colors like that, it'll pop out your eyes and will make them stand out. Also, black eye liner looks great with dark eyes. You could try that and see how your eyes look like that, try different colors to find what looks best. :)

Guys who truly like you will get to know you before they look at how you look. No matter how bad you feel about yourself, that one special guy will think you're the most gorgeous girl, ever. And when you're with him, you won't care about how you look because you know in his eyes, you're beautiful.

But, don't think that way of yourself. Everyone is beautiful, inside and out. Everyone has flaws and something they hate about theirselfs, but you should love every part of you, no matter what. If your inside is beautiful, your outside will be beautiful, too. You just have to be happy with yourself before that beauty shines through. Every teenage girl goes through this, you aren't the only one. A lot of people are insecure with how they look, but that's just a phase and it'll pass. ♥

Favorite and color are the American way of spelling those words. In Canada, it's favourite
and colour. Even though I'm Canadian, I always go with the American way of spelling it. So, either way is good. ♥

does anyone know how to get white teeth and fast if its somethign liek baking soda or white strips whats the best kind of product you can buy that will make them super white

I've always used baking soda. I'd brush my teeth with regular toothpaste, then after, I'd brush them with a little bit of baking soda and salt. -- You just put 1/4 of salt in a little bottle, then the rest is baking soda. It works really well and your teeth will start to become really white. ♥

I go to a school thats about.. 40% black/minority. I'm a 17 y/o senior in highschool and many of my friends are black (I'm white).. and many of tha guys I've dated are black. I listen to mainly "black" music, but I don't discriminate, its just what I know. But my uncle is soo racist and ALWAYS harrasses me. He calls me n-lover (you know) and does tha dumbest things like knocking on tha front door and saying "Chelsie, its an N, better come get tha door!"..hes so immature. My mom always yells at him when shes around (a lot of her friends are black too), but I dont live w/ her and shes hardly ever around.. I live w/ my grandparents and they dont say anything to him about it. He just makes me so angry b/c he comes around a lot and acts like hes better than black folks but hes NOT.. he doesnt take care of his kids and he has a 6-year old daughter who hasnt even started school yet which is ILLEGAL! Ugh, hes gay. I cant stand him. I just dont know what to do about him. He always says stuff like "I know this girl who would kick your ass for $20".. thats hilarious to me. One time I told my (black) friends cousin about it (hes 27) and he ended up coming to my house when my uncle was here and trying to get him to come outside so he could fight him.. and what did my uncle do.. NADA! Stayed inside like a little -----! well.. yea, what should I do about him.. I just feel like shooting him. LOL. Sorry.. long rant.

Honestly, your uncle sounds like a HUGE asshole and he shouldn't be treating black people that way. We're all the same kind of people, just different colors. There's always going to be people that hate black people and people that hate whites. It's always going to be like that. We're never going to be able to stop it. I don't know how you can change your uncles mind about this, I don't even know if you could. If he had an up bringing like this to be against blacks, you won't be able to change is mind. That's just how he thinks because he was brought up this way. Nothing you can do will change his mind.

Maybe you could talk to him about this, though. Tell him that it hurts your feelings and such when he says things like this to you. Tell him it's immature and hurtful because most of your friends are black. Explain to him if he hates black people, to keep his nasty remarks to himself because you don't want to hear it. If he truly cares about you, he'll take what you said to him to heart and will try to change. If not, it's his loss. One day he'll say something to the wrong person and will get what he needs to smarten up. What goes around, comes around, hun. He needs to get a life, seriously and get his kid into school! Wow! He doesn't sound too stable, at all. Maybe you should talk to him about that, too. ♥

I have a male friend who has this annoying habit. Well everytime that I phone him, if I start talking to him he'll always cut me off about 5 minutes into the converstation and say "my ears are getting wet". What does that mean, and is it some mean way of him saying he doesnt want to listen to me? Other times I've phoned him and he sounds happy to hear from me at first, but then if I tell him a story about another guy he'll say in a huff that he has to go. What's up with this?

'If I tell him a story about another guy he'll say in a huff that he has to go.' That right there shows that he has feelings for you. Why else would he want to get off the phone with you, while you're talking about another boy? Shows that he isn't comfortable with it because he likes you.

Now, about his ears getting wet, I have no clue what is up with that. Maybe his ears are getting sweaty from talking on the phone? If you want, you can just ask him, then you'll know for sure what he's talking about. ♥

this sounds really really silly..but i hate my boobs. they are huge, and it makes me feel out of shape. they`ve always bothered me, but just recently they`ve seemed a lot bigger than normal. does anybody know if theres an way to "decrease" the size of them? like does exercise work? or what you eat or w/e?

Sometimes if you watch what you eat and do some exercises, your boobs will get smaller. I know, when I watch what I eat and I'm not heavy into junk food, I can notice my boobs getting smaller. It's not a huge change, but you can notice.

I know how you feel, though. My boobs are kind of on the 'big' side. I used to hate my boobs so much when I was younger, because I had the biggest boobs out of all my friends. But, once you get older, you'll begin to love them. Don't worry about it, everything will work out and your body will grow into them. ♥

I totally agree with you on that. Especially when people are asking what this song is called, it's easy to type the lyrics into google and find the song. Especially when the person knows haft of the song, anyways?!

I don't do anything special, really. I wash my face with soap and water every morning, and every night before I go to bed. Also, I put hand cream on my face, it keeps it smooth. ♥

will it be ok if i put on a bangage over my navel piercing when it has been 3 day sice pierced because need to cover it up to go to the fair ground

I think it would be okay. I don't think it'll harm your piercing. Don't put a normal bangage on, though. It might get caught to your ring and plus, it hurts so much when you take normal bangages off. Just use some of that cotton like stuff to cover up your piercing. ♥

okay, well my friend got fingered for the first time the other day and now she's been worrying about it. she think's that she is pregnant but i'm telling her that she can't be because it's totally impossible because she didn't have sex or anything. and she hasn't gotten her period and she's 2weeks late. i told her that i think it's because she doesn't have a regular period, because she hasn't had it for over 2years and normally that's when it starts getting regular. her boyfriend only fingered her, she didn't do anything to him so i'm really not sure what to tell her except that she isn't pregnant. what do you guys think?

You're correct; there's no way she can be pregnant, especially since there was no sperm involved. You have to actually have sex and have sperm enter your vagina to become pregnant. So, you're right with telling her she's not pregnant, because there's no way she is.

Her period could be irregular and just because it hasn't been irregular before, doesn't mean it can't start. Everyone's period is different and hers could just be going through some changes right now.

As for her bleeding, it could have been her cherry, or he could have scratched her, either or really, but nothing to worry about.

Tell her to calm down a bit, it seems like she's stressing over this a lot. Because she's stressing, it could be holding her period back. Tell her to calm down, she has NOTHING to worry about. ♥
