theres a dance comin up at my school n i love dances n all. but when i dance(grindin) i NEVER kno where to put my hands, so, where?

I guess it depends on if you're grinding with a person or not. If you have a person, you can put your hands around his/her waist, on his/her shoulders, or on his/her arms. Anywhere you feel comfortable with your hands, just put them there, if they're confortable with it, too.
If you're just grinding by yourself, move your hands like you'd move your feet. Slide your hands down your body, put them up in the air, on your legs, etc. Just kind of go with the flow. Or, watch other girls/guys dance around you and if you like how they're dancing, dance like them. ♥

well you can always just put them in front of you.. like hold them together, cross them, move them just like you move your legs when you dance go with the beat

Well if you wanna grind like a white person, you can put ur hands around his neck. If you wanna grind like a black person, then ur hands go on your knees.
