I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. I am an outgoing person whom loves to have fun, be with my best friends and family, go shopping and most importantly, helping others.
Helping others has always been my passionate, from a young age I knew that I wanted to help other people and be a great influence in making someone's life turn for the better. okay there is this boy i KNOW i love. well we were going out then he broke up with me, but like i said i KNOW for a FACT that i love him. but he likes another girl. Unfortunately, I think you're going to have to move on - one way or another. If he doesn't feel the same as you do, why would you want to be with him? Believe me, there are so many other guys out there who really want to be with you because they like you a lot. And someday, love you and want to be with you (if not already).
And to respond to your comment about needing this boy - you don't need any boy. No girl needs a guy, just the same as no guy needs a girl. You have to be able to be confident and love yourself, before someone can love you. That is the best advice I can give you, and I promise you that it is the truth. I hope you'll consider my advice here, even if you choose not to take it.

I have been in a relationship for two years next week and I haven't told him I love him yet. I'm just not sure if I love him and if I'm not sure I'm not going to tell him that I do. He told me he loved me six months ago and I believe that he really does. I'm okay with him saying I love you, but should I love him by now? I mean we have known each other for five years and dating for two. I would think I would be able to say those three words to him. If I'm not in love with him should I break it off before he gets too attached to me? I care for him a lot, but I don't want to hurt him any more than I possibly could. Please help. (link)

First off, I have to commend you here. I mean, these days, not many girls or guys think the way you do. Most of them just say "I love you," back, even if they don't really mean it. So I definitely don't believe you should say it back to him, just to make him happy because ultimately, it will only end up hurting him.
I don't think there's a time limit on falling in love with someone, just because he's in love with you, does not mean you should be in love with him also. I went through something similar with my ex-boyfriend, he said I love you for a VERY long time before I said it back, and was really in love with him. So I do believe you could fall in love with him later on, however, if you're having second thoughts about your relationship - that may be a sign to break things off.
I can't really say if it is or isn't, but it definitely could be a good sign of breaking up with him. If you do feel it's best to break up with him, be sure to let him know how much you do care for him, it's just something that couldn't be worked out as a relationship.

My neice is mentally retarded. We just found out. My sister was hysterical. My mom was crying. My dad was very mad/sad. I felt nothing. Is this wrong? I love my neice and care about her, but i don't care if shes retarded. I'll still love her the same. I feel bad for the troubles she will have to go through but i'm not really sad. Also i am kinda pissed about how everyone else is so pissed off. Is this good or bad and why am i feeling this way? (link)

I personally don't believe your feelings are wrong, because I think your main point here is that it shouldn't matter if she is mentally handicapped or not - because either way, everyone should treat her the same and make her feel like a normal kid. And I think that's great. Though I can understand your sister, mother and father's feelings in the way that they are probably in shock. But I don't believe it's right if they choose to take it out on your niece and treat her badly, and be angry at her, because it isn't her fault and she should have the right to grow up as normal as possible.

You could try blogging and let people really get to know the type of person you are, usually, this draws more people's attention. And have links to your Myspace and YouTube videos. Also, you could try entering various music contests or even sending in a demo of your music to a major record company. (I can give you some links for that, if you'd like, just send me an inbox question, if so.)

My ex-boyfriend is now dating his ex-girlfriend. She was his first love all throughout middle school and for the past two years me and him were a couple. Now, many times he stated how much he was over her, but now I find him dating her and "in love". I don't feel I'm upset by the relationship but I feel confused. We broke up a few weeks ago but they were a couple shortly after. Between the time we broke up, and he dated her, he slept with and dated a couple of girls then finally told me that me and him couldn't be friends any more. I am worried about him because I think his actions may be a result of his parents recent separation. How do I react to this situation? (link)

I think we have a wishy-washy one here, but I believe I can unravel all of this correctly. I think your ex-boyfriend has always and will always have feelings for his first love (everybody does in my opinion, even if those are bad feelings). It seems like this is a little more than that, since he's gotten back with her. So I don't think he's ever really gotten over her, and that's why he's with her now.
I think it's great that you're concerned about him making a bad decision, but ultimately, those are his decisions and it's probably best to stay out of it. I know it's hard, but he's made it clear he doesn't want to be friends or be with you anymore, so I believe the best thing you can do is try not worry about his actions. He'll have to be accountable for them because they are "his" decisions, not yours. And as much as you want to help him, I don't think he would even let you help him (if it is because of his parents seperation), because he's told you he doesn't want to be friends with you anymore.
I'm sorry if I'm not much help or this isn't the answer you were looking for, but it's the best advice I feel I can give to you.

I have a friend and me and him were just playing around and i pantsed him and a teacher that doesnt speak english well saw it and she was like i need to report it man pants fell down in front of girls and me and my friend were beggin her not to tell because we were just kidding and she was like sorry then she starterd walking somewhere else and waved to us to tell us to go can you help me because this one kid got suspended for 4 days because he pantsed someone and i dont want to because i get in alot of trouble alot and i was just kidding. From what I can gather, you're worried that the teacher has told or is going to tell what you did to your friend. Considering you know of a kid who was suspended for doing the same thing you've done, so of course, you are concerned about that. (I hope I've gotten this right, so far.)
I know it may seem embarrasing to you, but you could try talking to your mom about it and explaining that you were only kidding. She may be able to talk to the principal about it, and get you off the hook. Or you could talk to he/she, yourself.

My "Best" friend did it again and I'm not sure to react this time. We have know each other for 30 years. We say we were in the womb together because our parents were friends and we hung out and sleep at each others house til the end of high school. We lost touch while she was in college but then we hooked back up again. We worked together and then I got pregnant. This weekend she told me she was going to take me to Stevie B for my birthday and all of a sudden she couldn't get the tickets, but we were still goign to hang for a while, that was until she called and told me that she was going home for the night instead. I now have two children, 8 and 1, she wasn't there for either birth or even to visit me in the hospital, nor has she been to either ones birthday parties. We always say that we will be friends forever no matter what but now I feel so hurt I don't know if I any longer want her friendship. Friendship goes two ways and I seem to be the only one giving. Is it mean or bad to feel this way? It's my 30th, a major milestone, I was at both of her 30th parties, ugh!!!!!!! (link)

I can understand why you're so upset about this, you seem like one of those people (like me) who take friendships seriously, and are always there for your friends and except the same from them. And it's unfortunate when these things happen, especially, when you've been friends for 30 years. I think you should talk to her, and really let her know how bad she has hurt your feelings. She may not be realizing the pain she's causing you, so I would try that first.
If you still have problems after doing that, I'm not sure if this friendship can make it. Considering it can't be a one-sided deal, it has to be from both sides willing to work on the friendship. Oh, and no, of course it isn't mean of you to feel this way. Anyone, including me, would feel this way if they really cared about their best friend. So your feelings are perfectly normal.

Ok theres is guy who was in my third grade Class and in a lot of my classes in 6th grade so in third grade i know he liked me alot and in 6th grade we flirted alot but haven't like went together so now i really am starting 2 have feelings 4 him but even if i do go with him i won't be able 2 talk 2 him on the phone cuz i cant talk 2 boys on the phone without sneaking on the phone and i know that talking on the phone is a big part of a relationship so wat can i do if i cant call him (link)

You can go to his house, go different places with him or meet him somewhere, talk at school, etc. But if you can't talk on the phone, I'm concerned, will you be able to do any of the things I've listed? I hope so, because communication is key in a relationship. Without it, you have nothing. I have an idea - talk to your parents about this guy, let them know how wonderful he is, tell them little things he has done for you, etc. Invite him over for dinner one night, so they can get to know him. For most parents, this works. Good luck! =)

1) Talk to the store manager or look at their website, and see what kind of info they have on store models. Most of the store models, they get from agencies. So you may have a hard time.
2) It depends how they select their models, you'll have to go through number one.
3) It does NOT cost money, these are legitimate stores you're talking about. So they will NOT ask you for any type of money.

16/F/160-ish cm/145 lbs
As the title says, I want to lose weight. Not to look disgustingly skinny, but to look healthy and less flabby before spring or before softball season because I always get to the base a few seconds after the ball has been caught [I can run just as fast as my much skinnier friends]
I guess an appropriate goal would be 15-20 lbs (or a size 5 in jeans, currently a 7) because I want to still be proportionate and not a bobble head.
I do not have access to a gym since the only gym equipment that my school has is for the weight training class (the class is only for males, haha), and I have no means of transportation to a community gym (like YMCA). I lost 4 pounds over the summer but gained it back because of school and homework, which sucks.
I have a dog who gets exercise atleast once a week (because of school), which I guess is bad since a lot of dog owners walk their dogs on alternate days in my neighbourhood, but he's not fat/obese (finicky eater). Supposedly the breed he is adaptable to various exercise levels. So if anyone could give me a good time range, and types of cardio exercises (running, jogging, walking, etc.) to do with him, that would be awesome.
On a side note before I continue, I read somewhere that running can cause cellulite or sagging, is that true?
Also if anyone could recommend foods for a healthy diet (no crash diets, special k diets, or fad diets please) that would also help a lot.

Around my area, about the average cost of lenses is $60. It depends where you live, and what place you decide to get them. So be sure to check with the place you want to buy them at, and other places too - so you can get the best prices.

I've told a bunch of my friends about this one guy that I really really like. All of them agree that we would be a great couple. He's in 1 of my classes, and next to one of my other classes. Here are some things i've heard
1. In the class that we are both in together- we had a test on thursday, and when I went to go up to the front of the classroom to turn it in, one of my friends said that he was staring at me.
2. Another one of my friends overheard him talking to his best friend. He was telling his best friend that he likes someone in his best friends class (which is my class)
Does this mean anything? does he like me?
ps- if it helps, my best friend has been all like "(my name) and (his name) sitting in a tree... k.i.s.s.i.n.g" and like writing "(my name) heart's (his name). And like if he stood up to sharpen his pencil or something, she would poke me in the back and point to him. Then I would blush, and she would go "ohh.. you're blushing!"
but she wouldn't say it extremely loud. Just sorta like a whisper but a little louder.
