I have been with my boyfriend for a little over 2 years. We get along pretty well, to be honest. We see each other a lot and we hardly ever fight. Thing is, I just feel sometimes that he can be a bit too honest with me about stuff. It's never, ever been an everyday issue but it's been almost constant for the past couple of weeks for some reason.. For instance, he'll tell me something like "You have a zit", or that "your breath smells". It's annoying because I don't know why he feels the need to tell me stuff like that. Today, which is what really set me off, is that he said something about my drawings. He tells me a lot that I'm a good drawer and that I make good artwork, but today he decided to point out flaws about my current drawing. He said that it looked bad because the bottom looked unproportional, which annoyed me because I'm not even done with it. He claimed that he's "just being honest because the people at my art college will be too". Although he did point out something he liked about it, it made me feel crappy because art is something i feel really good about. I told him how it bothered me and he couldn't understand why it was a big deal. We're both critical of ourselves, but if I point out a flaw of his, he doesn't care. And he would tell me if it did.. He just feels like since it wouldn't bother him, than it shouldn't bother anyone else either. He's never tried to change me at all, or make it seem like I'm not worthy, he's just too honest sometimes. I love him, but I hate how he is unable to see this from my point of view (link)

You know it is a funny thing, this self esteem business... There are a couple ways to look at this, and if you will allow me, I would like to point something out:
Would you like to go out in public with poop-breath? Would you like people to no longer want to be around you because your breath makes their eyes water? Of course not! So, from this perspective, he has done you a service, not insulted you.
You might say: "We weren't in public!" and I might ask you: So, you care more about other people wanting to be around you than your own boyfriend?
Same goes for the pimple. Haven't you ever gone out without knowing you had a giant, glowing airplane beacon of a pimple on your face? Did you enjoy the gaping stares from people who can't believe you didn't do something about it?
Didn't you WISH someone was thereto tell you about it and save you that embarrassment? Well guess what? Now you do have someone to tell you these things, and your lack of self esteem is causing you to alienate someone who loves you very much.
In regards to the artwork issue, that really makes it obvious that this is a self esteem issue.
You are upset that he can't see it from your point of view... but he would have to have low self esteem to do this. He doesn't have low self esteem, so the problem doesn't exist for him.
This is something that doesn't just happen. It is usually rooted in childhood, and it is rare for someone to overcome low self esteem without help from a counselor.
Please consider getting some counseling on this. Couples therapy is a good idea to, but let me tell you what is going to happen if you try to "fix" him before you try to fix yourself:
The counselor is likely to tell you things that are only going to make you feel worse because of this issue. It is going to seem like they are ganging up on you... because she isn't going to be "on your side" either.
Self esteem issues can color every aspect of your life. Once you overcome this, you will be a MUCH happier person. It is worth the trouble to get help for this.
If you choose not to get help, please be honest with your boyfriend and tell him he is going to have to lie and walk on eggshells for the rest of his life if he stays with you. Then give him permission to leave you with no hard feelings, so you don't ruin the rest of his life with this issue you refused to get help with.
I hope you make the right choice. You can be happy... it will just take a bit of effort on your part.

Believe me, most of us have already thought through the alternatives, been to numerous councellors, tried antidepressants etc. these treatments just don't work for everyone. On my home desktop computer i run Windows XP.
I kept getting redirected to this page which says "Sorry, we can't find [insert web address here]. Please check the spelling of the web address." it even happens when clicking on google links. The thing is.. on my laptop, the same web addresses work fine.
It says down the bottom, you can disable domain adviser (which seems to be whats doing the redirect) by going into add/remove programs from control panel.
The funny part is.. when i went into add/remove programs, its not in the list. How can i remove a program that doesn't seem to exist? (link)

This doesn't usually show up under its right name. Look for ANYTHING in the add/remove programs list with the word "Toolbar" in the name, and remove it unless it is something you are CERTAIN you want.
It could also be disguised as a game client, or something else entirely. Have you run both of the tools I gave in this answer:

...? If not, that is the place to start. Both tools classify this as malware, so you should find some success there.
Remember: While you are in add/remove programs, look for anything that you are sure you did not install and remove them.

None of us are doctors here. The poison control number has trained professionals with an index of effects covering anything in the world you can OD on and what the symptoms are.
Those are the people to ask. The know more about OD situations than most doctors.
Hence, you were told the only reliable way to find out that information from people who have seen the effect in real life.

Your teacher should be able to help you get up to speed. That is what they are there for. They should also be able to set up tutoring for you, or point you in the right direction.

There really isn't a way to explain this to you without you just copying and pasting what people would answer as your finished project. Perhaps that is why this wasn't answered. I think people thought you just wanted them to do your homework for you. I understand that isn't the case.
It comes down to this: You don't understand the material. That is fine, but you really need to go to your teacher and let them know this.
I could answer this question, but it wouldn't end up helping you. If you don't understand the question, the answer doesn't help. :)
Worse yet, if you answer this without understanding what you are doing, you move on to WAY more complicated things and will be even more lost than you are now.
You may need some tutoring on this topic, and that is nothing to be ashamed of. Economic studies are brutal. There is a great deal to know, and it is one of the thing you will learn in school that will help you more than almost anything else through the rest of your life.
Get some serious help with this, and you will never regret it.

I'm not pregnant. I've been having morning sickness since last semester. It stopped in the middle of winter break, but started again in the beginning of spring semester. I've been trying to fix it. I started eating healthier, but now I'm nauseous 24/7. Many people think it's probably due to the fact that I have depression or I'm stressed out because of school. I've been feeling nauseous 24/7 for a week now, and the past two days it got worse... To the fact where I missed 2 days of school. I don't have the same appetite that I had last semester, since I can barely eat. One sandwich, would make me full.. Which is something that never happens. I would go to the doctor, but I'm saving up money at the moment. My family has financial issues including the fact since we can't afford health insurance either.
Does anybody know what wrong with me? And what I can do to stop feeling nauseous so I can stop missing school?? PLEASE & THANK YOU! (link)

Much as I would like to help you, I am not a doctor. There are SO many things that could cause this, that it would be unwise to try and figure this out on your own.
I know that it is expensive to go to the doctor, but you know what else is expensive? A funeral. :-(
If this is something serious, and you don't get it checked out, it could be the biggest mistake of your life. Please consider going in to get checked out. It could be something VERY simple, but if it isn't, it is always better to know as soon as possible.

Here's my question, I can't find the search settings to remove on the add/remove programs. I've checked and the only thing I see is search toolbar and that's it with the name search.

Hi there,
Before you do ANYTHING else, create a restore point. Some of these guys don't go peacefully.
First thing to try is doing it the way they want it done:
"How do I remove or uninstall the VMN toolbar?
You may remove the toolbar at anytime.
From the preferences menu on the right side of the toolbar:
- Click on 'Uninstall'.
- Or use "Add or Remove Programs" from Windows Control Panel to remove the VMN Toolbar."
... From my experience, they usually use various names to make it harder to spot in the list. Your "Search Toolbar" is probably it.
I would uninstall that. In fact I would remove anything with the word toolbar in it if you don't know what it is.
I would then download and run:
SuperAntiSpyware:
http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
...and: MalwareBaytes:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Between the two of these, they will take care of most anything. Not everything, but the vast majority of spyware and malware out there.

P.S. Two more things: Install all currently available updates for Windows and IE. Then stop using IE for a browser if you still are.
