im aj ,im 16, grade 11, im a shy person just meeting people, but when i get to know them im very comfortable and fun , but i need a girl so i can get my mind off this other gurl i fell for, but i dont know wat girls in my school are available, and for some reason i attract girls i dont find attractive at all, theres so many girls in my school that look intresting, but ive never talked to them and i dont no if they have boyfriends or not, how can i open up a convorsation with sumone ive never talkd to before? its hard for me because its like, hey , i dont no you but im gonna talk to you anyways, i think i would look stupid, what should i do to meet some new people? Even though it's great you want to meet new people, you shouldn't just try to meet a girl to get over someone you fell for.
But if you want to start a conversation without it being awkward hang out with some of your friends who are girls or guys, and hang out with some of their friends who are girls. That way it's not like your some stranger. You can also hang out with people you see who have the same interests as you. For example if they're reading a book that you've read or you see them listening to the same music. Or if there are any clubs in your school that you find interesting go and see them and see who's there and start up a conversation.

i feel horrible! my little parakeet kiwi died a few months ago. he was only about 2 years old! on and off he was sick. like he sat at the bottom of the cage all puffed up with his eyes closed. and this thign happened on and off. but then one day he was there for a while and couldnt even move, cause you could tell cause when i tried to pet him he reached for me and he didnt have the strength to do it, it was so sad looking it made me cry. i think i handled him too much and made him really tired maybe cause i always played with him. i feel so guilty! did i kill my bird? what was this sickness? ohh, im so sorry:( i have a parakeet 2. im sure you didnt kill it by playing with it, all you did was give it love. im sure it dies by an illness and not how much you played with it.

Wow. Springtime and love must be in bloom because almost every question is a version of this one! haha! Go down about 7 or 8 questions in my column and start reading from there on up to here.
Bottom line - you can't MAKE anybody like you but you CAN do some things to make yourself seem a whole lot more interesting to them. Then you have to let "nature take it's course."
As far as getting over a guy...that answer is 7 or 8 down there too. There are a lot of great questions in this column. I think it's worth reading. (but I'm partial...lol)

rape is when someone trys more like forces he/she on you and trys to have sex with you sometimes their is ripping on the skin around the whole in your vigina it can be very serios if you thik you got raped by this advice or other people telling you advice you really should work up the couarge by telling you school officer and you parents what i did was went to the school officer and he reported it and he told my parents it's realy hard to do and you have to be brave. but really you should test your self for sexual transmitted desies and if your pregnate. i had to go through this lady sticking a q tip in my fricken vigaina and then i thought i was not pregnate but it turns out that i am. but anyways if you did get raped goodluck!!

my first kiss was 11 (6th), but a lot of people did in 7th and 8th. it depends on your like first kiss. if the peck lasts, make it into a french, except that might be wierd cuz you might be bad if your a first timer

crest strips dont work too well. and i cant help you with the braces one (i never had them) but i would say regular braces are best, but the invisable ones are nice because you cant see them (you sorta can, but mostly not -- and they make your teeth look a little whiter)

I take a shower pretty much every day, and straighten my hair every day. I know it gives you split ends and stuff but I get a lot of haircuts so that's not a problem. But is it unhealthy? Will it burn your hair? (link)

straightening your hair fries it and gives you split ends. when you go to the haircutter, ask them to cut off ALL split ends, and then its fine (until you get more split ends)

I was reading other questions and noticed that you sure as hell know cars...
I just got a 2006 Jeep Liberty, base model, 3.7 liter V6. Rear Wheel drive..4 Speed Automatic (Yeah automatic sucks, i know..)
I am having trouble spinning the back tires. I have read many forums and articles online and can't find any information about it. One of my buddies said that it probably has something to do with computer programming or something like that..not sure...

you could have ESP, or TCS, or ESC, or any of the other myriad of names in the end it's simply traction control. it's an electronic devices tha regulates the amount of acceleration going to the wheels at all times. it is helpful in some cases especially when climbing an icy hill or on a slick road in general so that you retain grip and control. but i and most other car people will agree that it's not truly driving the car. now on some cars there are ways to turn it off and ways to make it stop. ferrari's for example have a switch on the steering wheel that allows a driver to turn the traction control off or adjust it for various settings. but you're not in a ferrari you're in a jeep. i am not sure if there is a switch anywhere on the vehicle that would turn it off. especially being that it's the rear drive and not the 4 wheel drive one i'd assume chrysler simply built the thing to carry people safely not for anything high performance. your best bet would be to sit idling and just mash on the gas as hard as you can. it works in most automatics to get the tires spinning but if you have traction control it's most likely not going to do much more than get your RPM's up and give you a quicker takeoff.
