I take a shower pretty much every day, and straighten my hair every day. I know it gives you split ends and stuff but I get a lot of haircuts so that's not a problem. But is it unhealthy? Will it burn your hair?
orphans answered Tuesday April 25 2006, 8:01 pm: straightening your hair fries it and gives you split ends. when you go to the haircutter, ask them to cut off ALL split ends, and then its fine (until you get more split ends) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
nicholeh1005 answered Tuesday April 25 2006, 7:55 pm: you should get some kind of hair product that is used to keep your hair healthy even though you straighten it every day.. you can find these at normal stores or for a better product go to your salon and ask for some product. afro_timmy answered Tuesday April 25 2006, 6:32 pm: No it shouldn't as long as you use some kind of heat protector just to be safe. I do exactley the same thing as you and my hairs fine.

itsz_JESS answered Tuesday April 25 2006, 6:30 pm: it probably wont burn your hair since you get a lot of haircuts from all those split ends, you could try getting good shampoo and conditioner for split ends so your hair can be healthier! good luck!
