im aj ,im 16, grade 11, im a shy person just meeting people, but when i get to know them im very comfortable and fun , but i need a girl so i can get my mind off this other gurl i fell for, but i dont know wat girls in my school are available, and for some reason i attract girls i dont find attractive at all, theres so many girls in my school that look intresting, but ive never talked to them and i dont no if they have boyfriends or not, how can i open up a convorsation with sumone ive never talkd to before? its hard for me because its like, hey , i dont no you but im gonna talk to you anyways, i think i would look stupid, what should i do to meet some new people?
But if you want to start a conversation without it being awkward hang out with some of your friends who are girls or guys, and hang out with some of their friends who are girls. That way it's not like your some stranger. You can also hang out with people you see who have the same interests as you. For example if they're reading a book that you've read or you see them listening to the same music. Milena answered Saturday April 29 2006, 1:30 pm: okay. well i suggest you just either look at something they have: book they're reading, movie they've talked about, cd they have. and try to relate that to your life. For instance, if you see a girl who is wearing a shirt that says green day and you like the band green day, go up to her and say, "i saw the shirt you're wearing and i love Green Day!" she will reply and that can open up other conversations. i hope this helps!
