Ive seen alot of like basketball players who have this like.. thingie on their foot. its like a brace but like.. i have no idea what its called, but theres a little hole where their knee is and its like from lower thigh to upper calf. whats the name and what are they for? also do they cost alot of money.. and what sports do you wear them for? thanks!

that's a knee support... some people wear them for soccer and other sports too. they're fairly inexpensive. it's a support tho, not a fashion statement.

I smoke pot, and cigeretes and today he asked why my jaket smelled like smoke, my friends arent on aim (litteraly no one) so i want to know if i should keep lieing of if i should hold my balls and tell him i smoke. PLEASE HELP!

oh mannn... tricky. You probably shouldn't tell him about the pot... tell him about the ciggs and he will tell you to quit- that's a good thing to quit.

Okay, so I have a friend I met over the internet. Her name is Mary, and we've been talking for almost two years.
She seems like a real kid, but I'm not really sure of what I can trust.
I dont know how to tell, and I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to know for sure.
So, she just asked for my address, to be able to exchange presents. I've talked to her on the phone before, but I've always thought there's SOMETHING you can do to fake that... (I get this from my mom). So I dont know whether I should actually give the address or anything. My dad knows I'm still talking to her, but my mom dosen't.

is there an alternate address they could send it to? at my gradeschool, we had our penpals send our stuff to the school. maybe a P.O box or somewhere your parents work?
i would avoid giving her the house address so see if they can send it somewhere else? dont send it to an adandoned house... they might have stopped mail before they left.
but at the same time... 2 years is a long time to be faking a different gender/age. i guess it depends how far away they live but maybe there is another way.

im very active in my school`s music program, and I`m always in the plays, and tryouts are next week, I am almost guaranteed to get it, i know i have a good voice, but I really want to try out with a song that really shows off my voice.. i am an alto, and i cant really sing higher than c or d in my chest voice, does anyone know a good song to tryout with?

hmmm so you only do chest voice? are you a belter? try "anything goes" or "i get a kick out of you" from the show anything goes. it's definately alto. you could try "if i were a bell" from guys & dolls. it's a little bit higher if i remember right bet it'd be a nice one to belt. anything else, just let me know.

I'm usually an opinionated person. If the class is talking about something, I usually state my opnion even if I'm not asked. One of my teachers said that people shouldn't give their opinons if it isn't asked for. Is that true?

I'm also an opinionated person but really, keep some things to yourself... it'll save you a buttload of trouble, especially at school. i mean its good to have strong opinion but when its not necessary, don't state it. it's part of maturing... knowing when its right and when it's wrong to give your opinion. so he's right... to a point.

When does your feet stop growing?

I feel so weird because I'm 15 and like the only one who still wears size 5 or 6.

I wear a 7 and personally i like my little feet. some of my taller friends have 11s and i think they are just unattractive so just be happy with that you have. there's a chance they will still grow (everyone is different).

ima freshman. ok so i had drill team tryouts and i made it! i was really happy. but i also have Junior varsity Cheerleading tryouts in march. Ive been doing cheerleading for 4 years and i guess its ok. i cant do both at the same time though. Should I still tryout for Cheerleading? or stay with drill team? both is a big deal. I don't really like the idea of dropping dance team for cheerleading cause taht means the people who didnt make it could have taken my spot.

I kinda wanna be a Drill team member cause they dance at varsity Football games, and Jv Cheerleading is only JV Football games. But JV is a bigger deal cause its only 10 people who get picked and Drill team is 20 freshmans.

Should i tryout?? or just stick to drill team? Thanks

maybe you should try out for cheerleading while you are on the team. if you make cheerleading then you have to pick one but if not, stick to dance. I personally would probably stick to dance tho but it depends on whic one means the most to you.

In the last few months my perfect eyesight has disappeared.

I am 48 and my eye doctor has been warning me that I would just wake up one morning and be unable to read. So while it was a bit of a shock when it happened, it wasn't unexpected.

Now, I have to wear reading glasses to do almost everything. Not a problem with most things but when I tried to put on makeup the other day....oh what a problem!

So, what I want to know is do any of you girls, and guys to if you know! Have any tips for me?

Do I just try to put it on with the glasses on? I don't want to look like one of those old ladies with 2 tons of makeup drawn all over their faces!

Try a magnified mirror or just take them off for a little bit while you put on your make up and put them back on after. If it gets to be too much of a problem, try contacts.

From my question: what are the deadly sins, I commited 6/7. Does that mean I'm a very bad person and will go to hell? I'm only a teen and I try so hard not to commit those sins but it seems every day I'm envious and jealous and angry but I never yell I only keep them in my head but I have head aches all the time from keeping it all in. Basically, I used to be a really good child. Not always the nicest, but most of the time my parents could stand me, and I never did drugs or anything really horrible. Around the time of Feb. some things happened with my mom, and I basically crashed. I hated her so much, and my dad turned the whole guilt trip God thing on me. I started smoking cigs, and weed, I always lie to my parents when I go somewhere, and I'm a total and complete bitch. I take every oppurtunity to get what I want, so I take advantage of people. I'm behind on credits because I've failed so many classes. I just gave up being so good, cause it felt like no matter what I did, somehow I'd get bit in the ass for it. Well its december now, I have no relationship what-so-ever with my dad or mom. When I get home, I call my boyfriend, and go sit in my room, or sit at the computer. I used to be really into church, and now I hate it and don't really believe in it anymore because all the people at that church are full of shit. I'm constantly watched by the congregation because they think my boyfriend and I are gonna go off and have sex behind the buildings or down the street (which would never happen.) We have gone off and smoked a few times and got caught tho, haha. But I really don't know what to do, it's starting to bother me a little bit. My dad told my sister that basically I'm "breaking his heart," because of the way I've been acting. He knows everything I do, I don't hide it at all, because there's really no point in hiding stuff like this. What should I do? It really sucks because my dad is so stressed out right now. We may loose our house and have to move. My parents have worked really hard to get our house, but now we just can't afford it. And, I don't want to quit smoking, it really does help me to chill out because I get so stressed so easily. Along with being addicted, it's extremely hard to quit so whatever. The whole weed thing was getting bad though, because the last 3 times I've smoked it, were because I was upset and I wanted to get away for a while. So I'm trying to not do that, I don't buy it anymore so I'm not gonna really have a problem with that. I guess I feel bad because I'm upsetting my dad, I could care less about my mom, she's never home anyway. Her and I will never have a relationship because we never get along no matter what, and she keeps to herself and never really talks to me about anything. I know I should change, but I don't really want to. I'm not depressed or anything. I have amazing friends, i'm in love with my boyfriend who is one of my most incredible guys I have ever known, I'm somewhat fine with the way I look, and I pretty much get what I want. I kind of always pictured this time of my life to be different. I figured I'd have different friends, look more like a girl instead of a somewhat gothed out chick, I thought I'd have a different relationship with my parents, like more close. Idk, it's hard, I know its bad for me, but I don't care..but I do. That probably doesn't make sense, but I just don't know what to think or feel anymore.

So, i've kinda been down the road you are on before and you CAN change. there's still time to chage directions. you don't have to be this way. see what you can do and really try at school. try quitting smoking. try and get along with your family before they send you off somewhere for troubled teens. first go to your dad... start being a good daughter to him and then maybe being ok wiht your mom will be easier. as for the church people.. they will always judge you... try to get involved and do service so maybe they'll accept that deep down you are a good person but you've just made some bad choices... it happens. if you want to change, do it. find a positive role model maybe... one that fits who you are and who you want to be. hopefully this helps and if you need anything else, just let me know.

They were out last year... I almost threw mine out but for some reason I kept them. now where I live, everyone is getting them again sooo i think they are comming back in style... AE sells them. if you look at the adds, they have them tucked in to their jeans. (skinny jeans work awesome ) that's just me tho.
